Depending on what timezone you're in, Sonic Blast is now 5 years old! We opened up on April 8th, 2006 and are still going now with nearly 820,000 posts! To celebrate we have some events planned by Mod and other members. In the mean time, how about some historical trivia? Question 1: What was Sonic Blast's original name? There is a new skin available called, "Blast From The Past" which is essentially our original skin but more modern. Couldn't make it completely like the old version as it just wasn't up to par... lol |

Answer to question 1: We started out with the name Sonic Zone. Once I learned there was a massive(now defunct) forum named that, I had to change it. I temporarily renamed it to Sonic Zone Act II before changing it to Sonic Blast and it has stayed that ever since. I originally thought it would be a good name because Blast makes it sound exciting. Never occurred to me that it was the name of one of the worst Sonic games ever(although I was aware of its existence). Question 2: Who was Sonic Blast's first moderator?
