But yeah, I enjoy this show myself. Not to the extent other fans do, but it's a pretty good show.

That's my take on it. It's actually more appealing to a wider (And older) audience.

As far as I can tell, the episodes I think took months to complete, and they had MANY animators.

Thanks to Miss Pony Club up there I've been watching afew of these episodes and although my excitment for the show doesn't reach anywhere near her level, I still find it quite interesting.

One of the animators for the show used to work on Foster's Home for Imaginary friends, correct?

It certainly would explain the difference in style these ponies have from their predecessors.
