Don't wanna bump the old topic, so here's a new one. Basically, discuss any pranks you've seen/caused. I haven't really noticed anything yet, but Sonic Stadium is now Chuckle Stadium, and Halolz is Kratlolz. |

Here's one; there was an article on TSSZ news that claimed an episode from the lost third season of SatAM had aired on the Hub (A children's cartoon channel if you don't know). They even had screen shots for 'proof' - complete with the Hub logo in the corner. Minecraft had a Secret Minecraft store with some locked chests in game as a mock to Team Fortress 2 for their Mannconomy Update. When you went to checkout a Raptor popped up and flew across the screen, and when the checkout cash exceeded 10,000 dollars, you would be rewarded with a box asking if you're sensitive to epilepsy. If you weren't, you were greeted by rave lighting on the page. As for Steam, it replaced stuff in a few indie games with potatoes, and released a pack of said games, as well as a Potatoe hat in TF2 for whoever owned all the games. Gaia Online said it was taken over with a new social networking site, Meowbook, which is basically just cats. They proceeded to make a signup page which could snag you a neat animating item, and placed cat faces on the majority of people. TF2Stats.net proceeded to have a creeper pop up and blow up the place after a few seconds, and The Team Fortress Wiki promptly made up a weapon, the Cow, and a new Class, the Demopan (recurring meme) to confuse TF2 and SPUF users (To which my brother took part; he made the Cow page). So I decided that I would prank many people in my school. I printed out many papers saying that due to the large ammount of accumulated snow days that they would be made up durring spring break. So many people freaked out. It was revealed to be false durring the afternoon anouncements. |
