Random deaths have been occurring within two major cities. In between the two cities is a connection port, which allows the two cities to be connected for travel between the cities can be possible. The two cities are settled within a desert like place. As well, both settles have a protected dome around it, to provide proper breathing air since the desert like environment is hazardous while having low oxygen. The connection port between the two cities is like a third city, which is where the most random deaths have been occurring. People will suddenly get stab wounds or bullet wounds from no where. Even bombs and explosions will go off for no reason, sometimes this happens outside of the dome cities and connection port. We've gathered information on this phenomenon and have detected that this city is sharing some kind of connection to another world or realm. Apparently there is a war going on within this other world or realm, and that war is crossing over into this world which is causing the random deaths. We've set up a camp site for you to enter into the other realm. Meet up with the team that is there and more information will be provided. Name: Taylor Hiss Age: 26 physically, older mentally... Gender: Male Species: Human/sidhe halfbreed (looks human, seems unnaturally attractive, but has mild paranormal abilities) Appearance: Dark-haired, light-skinned, dressed in a black bomber jacket and dark jeans. Powers/Abilities: Limited creation and manipulation of fire, and an innate protection from the interdimensional medium. Equipment: Iconic weaponry carried include a dagger with a quartz blade, a black polymer t-baton, and a green sniper's rifle claimed to be possessed. The bomber jacket includes a runic warding design to help protect the wearer in a fight. Often carries a pack with gear needed to traverse rough terrain. |

(Begin) "Glad you can make it, Taylor was it?" An old man states, smiling a bit as he bows towards Taylor to greet him. "We set up the means for you to travel into this other realm. However, there is a bit of a problem. Opening up this portal takes up a lot of energy. It will take us two to three hours to recharge the portal. Once its recharged, we'll be able to extract you should you need it." The man informs Taylor as he directs him to the machine that will open the portal. "Now, we do not know where this portal will leave you on the other side. All we know is that there is a war going on, and this port connection city is at the heart of this war. I'm giving you this device that will allow us to track your current movements in our world so we can open a portal near you so you can come back to us. Again, you'll be on your own for two to three hours without any means of returning back here." He tells Taylor, then hands him a wrist watch looking gadget. "Your comm-link has three buttons on it. The blue button is to open a small portal of your own. However, the portal will only remain open for five to ten seconds. The portal will being you back to this world, but it is only a one time use, so use it if you really need to get out of a jam. The red button is for an emergence extraction, should you need to be quickly picked up from outside the dome if you happen to use the blue button and end up somewhere outside the dome. Use the green button for a safe extraction once your done with the mission, or if you simply want to drop the mission." He tells Taylor as he prepared the machine that would send Taylor into this other realm. "Are you ready?" He asked the brave man. |

I hope you don't expect me to singlehandedly end whatever conflict's on the other side," Taylor replied as he took the "watch". "At least tell me what to expect when I cross over, what's the conditions over there?" |

The old man smiled, nervously at that. He rubbed his had a bit as if trying to come up with the best answer he could think of. "Well... You'll be the first person to actually cross over into this other realm, heh heh." He comments as he looked at the ground a bit. However, he became a bit serious as he returned his sights back on Taylor. "We don't know much about the other realm. The bullets they use aren't normal. There is a blue casing around the black colored bullet. Inside the bullet itself is some type of yellow liquid. At least, its yellow when introduce to oxygen. We found a bullet out side this city and discovered that the liquid is purple. Its somewhat like our blood, which is blue until it hits the air. Several bullets we found had living organisms around the bullet instead of a blue casing. As for the melee weapons, they are large. One victim had his entire torso impaled. Whatever impaled him went right through his back. The weapon seemed to curve a bit, but other then that, we no nothing about the weapons. Whatever creatures are on that other side are either big, or stronger then anything I've seen. There are reports of smaller stab wounds, but they are no smaller then a small axe. Maybe these weapons are big because this is where the heat of the battle is, we don't know. What we do know is that the air over on the other side is breath able. We sent a prob through one of the small portals. We lost contact with it a few days ago." He informs Taylor, not really sure that all he had told Taylor was helpful enough. |

The old man's face became very serious, almost evil as well. His eyes was covered by the locks of his white hair as he lowered his head. He put his finger on a button, but didn't press it yet, not until he informed Taylor what he wanted him to do. "The war... By any means necessary. Even if you have to destroy both sides, or that realm itself, get it done." He states, then pressed the button that opened the portal, which caused a sucking sensation that would pull Taylor right into the portal and whiz him off into the other realm. On the other side was a barren land. The ground was blue, but the sky was a orange color. Some trees were present, far off from where Taylor would end up though. The sun in the sky was beaming down, making it about 87 degrees. Large dead bodies would be laying on the ground, covered in blood or laying in a pool of blood. Large melee weapons were scattered around, some logged into dead bodies, some stabbed into the ground, and some laying about. These large creatures weren't all big though. The smallest size of these warriors was six feet. The largest was ten feet. They all wore armor, heavy armor, which made it impossible to see what they really looked like underneath their armor. One side of this war wore silver and black armor that covered their warriors from head to toe. The other side wore gold and white with some red, and again they were covered from head to toe. This dead battle field is where Taylor would be placed. |

Not, however, that he doubted himself capable pulling it off, it was just that that kind of thing was a hassle no matter how one looked at it. He started walking through the field of the slain, eyeing a blade not overly longer than his own leg. Just in case, he thought as he picked up the sword. |

"Halt! In the name of Suton!" A warrior called out. His armor was silver and black, however, he was alone. Two smaller warriors walked by his side as he approached Taylor. The warrior stopped for a moment and took a step back. It was like he was afraid of Taylor. "In the name of the gods, what are you, and where do you hail from!" She states, not really getting too worked up to go into a fighting position, but he was still taken back. The two smaller ones seemed to not show an emotions at all, and simply stared through their fully-covered-face helmets. Dreadlocks, or tied up hair of some sort, was the only visible piece of their entire body. It was like their helmet was made just for their locks of hair, only the taller warrior didn't have these locks of hair coming our of the back of his head, so his helmet was completely closed. "State your name, at once! And tell us what business you have come here for!" The taller one adds on, his nerves a bit on edge it seems. Of course, none of them have ever seen a human before. |

Taylor folded his arms, the blade he had picked up tucked parallel to his right forearm. "I'm called Taylor. I can't really say where I'm from, but I can tell you this: Your fighting has been killing those of my kind as well as your enemies. I'm here, hopefully, to stop that from happening," he said, rather calm given the circumstances: of course he'd been faced with more intimidating sights than this. "Other than that, I don't mean any harm unless you mean to harm me." He stuck the blade into the ground as if to punctuate that last statement. |

The head warrior was a bit taken back by Taylor's words. They were so strange yet he understood them. Everything about Taylor was odd, mythical, and mysterious. "Apologize, Spirit za Taylor. We, the Reaper Killers, mean you and your kind no harm. I am Johu za Dixtilma." He introduced himself as he lowered his head and slightly bowed. The other two remained idle, not moving an inch as Johu returned to his standing position. "If you wish to stop our assault on our enemy, then I'm afraid you'll have to use more then words, spirit. Follow me to our kingdom, where you will present your case and show us the might of za Taylor." Johu replies, to which the two next to him, spread their feet apart as if ready to either walk along with their leader, to dash off after Taylor with an attack should he flee or refuse. |

Taylor followed the soldiers, not saying anything as his thoughts caught up to his circumstances. He couldn't help but worry, really. Sure, he'd impressed these people by appearing out of nowhere, but they'd have him prove a supernatural nature. But that in itself wasn't the problem. He was concerned on what they would want him to do when the time came to "show his might" to these people. |

After a bit of walking, the trio, plus Taylor, soon arrived at a large building structure. It was massive, bigger then a city even. Nothing but buildings on top of buildings which were next to other buildings, and so on. All the buildings were a black and silver color, some white colors here and there, maybe some blue, but it seemed to match and blend well. There was a large gate that was blocked the view of most of the city. Five guards, similar to the one leading Taylor and the other two warriors were guarding the gate. As they arrived, the five guards didn't even bother questioning the warrior that was leading them. In fact, they got on one knee and bowed as they spoke a strange word all at once. One of them did try to take a look at Taylor, but his fear over this warrior leading them in drove his sights back to the ground. "Resume." The warrior orders, to which the five guards quickly stood up. They all looked upon Taylor with awe, which couldn't be seen due to their helmets. "Stand here, spirit." The warrior asked as him and the other two got onto a circular hovering pad. The left room for Taylor to stand on. Once the human would step onto the large pad, they would zip off into the air and dash into the city, only to end up in a slightly darken room with a long hallway in front of them. |

Taylor had to admit, as he followed Johu and the others in what he guessed was a sort of "honor-guard", their city was pretty impressive. But he had a role to play, but more importantly, decisions to make and information to get so he could make them. "Tell me, Johu, about your enemy. Who are they, and why is it that your people fight them?" |

Johu didn't take long to reply. It was like he had been waiting to explain the history of this war for a long time. "This war has been raging for years. It dies down after so many years, which we call the Grace Period. For several years we don't go into battle. We spend time repopulating our cities and harvesting what we can. No training or anything battle related can go on. This applies to both sides of this war. However, experiments, inventions, and anything science related can be preformed, even if they will somehow aid us in battle it is not illegal for these certain projects to be worked on. We've lived like this for centuries, several years of war then several years of our Grace Period. Each War Cycle there is always something new to fight over, be it that our enemies have kidnapped one of our elders, one of our royal parties is having an unjustified relationship with one of our enemy's royal parties, or simply a hostel take over. There is something that brings our two factions at war, and none of us seem to gain or loose any grounds. Whatever is gained is quickly recovered when the new War Cycle begins." He informed Taylor, pausing for a moment as he was unsure if he should finish this story. "Recently we've discovered a third faction. They seem to have come from the abyss of nothing. They appeared without any trances. They attack both sides and reject our law on the Grace Period. No matter how many times we seem to defeat this third faction, they rise up when the new War Cycle begins. Their armor is not like anything we've seen, nor has our enemy seen the likes of them either. At first, we thought it was warriors gathering from both sides in order to end our war, which in my eyes would be noble. However, the more our faction meets up with our enemy, we dicover that there is no trance of the third faction. When they die they burst into black dust and return to the abyss of nothingness from where they came, only to rise up again in the next War Cycle." He turned to Taylor for a moment, remembering that he forgot to mention something important. "Our factions are allowed to meet and talk with each other during our Grace Period. However we can only meet in the Outside lands and outside of each others cities. We've searched these Outside Lands and tried to find the source of this third faction. We've only found hives, yet they return every when a new War Cycle begins." He tells Taylor, then he looks a head of him as they neared their destination. "If what you have told me is true, and we are some how harming your kind, then I can only guess that it is the result of this third faction appearing... We call them the Abyss Tribe." He finishes, to which the pad came to a halt inside a room with a long hallway. Johu stepped off the pad, followed by the other two warriors. They walked down the long hallway and entered into a black room, where seven beings with silver glowing eyes sat within the darkness of this room. They were seated up on a balcony that was a few feet off the floor. Their entire bodies were hidden within the darkness as the tables in front of them glowed blue and silver. Johu knelt before them on one knee. "Rise..." One of the elders spoke, to which Johu stood up and presented Taylor. "Speak, spirit, and tell us why you have made your presence known to us." Clearly them seemed to think of Taylor as a ghost, or a spirit being that held a great deal of power and might. |
