Sandopolis Act 2

Dawn of Blaze -Chapter 1:A new adventure- -At emerald hill- A beautiful day, flowers blowing slowly in the soft wind. The sun shiny brightly, birds flying through the air. And some singing in a few trees. A beautiful day, so peaceful and calm. A purple blur in the distance coming at a high speed. It was Blaze the cat, running at top speed. She was exploring, avoiding her princess duties. She wanted to do so much more then stay at the castle and study. She wanted to go on adventures and help people, like Sonic. After they first met, Blaze thought of him a lot. Mostly about his adventures. She started to pickup speed, she was fast enough that the ground she was running on was smoking. But she was carefull enough not to let it catch on fire. She had her arms backwards, kinda like how Sonic does when he runs. She could see a cliff up ahead, but wasn't scared or nervous, she charged right at it. She jumped as she was a feet away from going off it. She twirled in the air, and as the sunlight hit her, it was a beautiful site. Twirling with the combination of the sunlight was beautiful. She was twirling slowly and her shadow was casted on the ground below. She came to another cliff, she stopped twirling and reached for the edge of it. She barely grabbed it in time, she pulled herself up and dust her self off. "Hmph...Well that was fun. Now I'm all filthy." After Blaze dusted her self off, she stared at the sunset. The sun was setting over a cliff and acoss water. "Hm...better get back to the castle." Blaze shot off back towards the castle. -Later in the throne room- "Blaze, you haven't been doing your princess duties ever since ya returned from that so called other world. You can't keep running off, you have a responsibility as a princess." The king told Blaze upset, he wasn't to happy about Blaze running off all the time. "But father, I don't want to be trap here doing my duties. I could do so much more and help people." "I don't want to hear it Blaze, you know you have honor as a princess and you much abide by them." The kind said giving Blaze a father's only look. Blaze looked away a little, then nodded slowly. "Good, now go. Tomorrow you have hours of duties to catch up on." Blaze nodded, then waked to her room. -In Blaze's room- Blaze was sitting at and staring out her bedroom window. Despressed about the talk she and her father had. "Why must I be trapped here? Doing what I don't want to do? Being a princess is so hard." Blaze looked down to the ground, she looked up to the sky again and saw a shooting star. Blaze thought about making a wish, she closed her eyes and held her hands togehter in front of her face. "I wish for a great adventure, and not to be stuck in this castle doing my princess duties. I want to do more that'll help others." Blaze slowly open her eyes, shining from the moonlight. She stood up and walked to her bed. she sat down and took her shoes off, then layed down and went to sleep. Outside her window a light in the sky was getting brighter. A white light, it wasn't a star, it was heading towards the castle. It flew over the castle turning left. It was now heading to a cave that was on near the farms. That cave, was cursed by a unknown evil. So people stayed away from it. The light got brighter, so bright it was blinding. Then it crashed landed right in font of the cave causing a big explosion. Everyone was asleep but one farmer, he was looking over the cows when he saw the explosion. He ran up to the cave and smoke was everywhere. He saw a faint shadow through the smoke, he asked if whoever it was if he/she was OK. The shadow tuned towards him, the farmer was scared, thinking whoever this shadow was, wasn't good. He was right, the shadow moving it's hands towards the farmer. The farmer turned to run out of fear was was struck by white lighting. The shadow had sapped him, in a result the farmer was sent flying by the lighting hitting him exploding. He went flying and crashed through the roof of his house. The smoke finally cleared as the shadow moved it's hand back down. As the smoke cleared, it revealed a figure wearing a brown cloak and a brown hood covering his face. "Well well, a stupid human putting his nose where it didn't belong. Oh well, one less human to deal with. Oh right, that item." The figure started to walk into the cave, not fearing about it's curse. -The next day- It was a sunny again like the day before, but with a feel of danger in the air, although not everyone is aware of it. Blaze sleeping in her bed, the sunlight shining in her face. But she doesn't mind it. But was soon awakon by a knock at her door. "Miss Blaze? Sorry to disturb you but the King just ordered a meeting of all knights." Blaze's best friend and a servant named Flower said. Blaze nearly jumped out of her bed, a meeting of all knights? She knew that means something very bad happen or is about to happen. She jumped out of her bed and put her shoes on, she ran to her door and open it and ran out. Flower not knowing what to do followed. As Blaze came to the throne room, she heard her father speaking. "This is terrible...a farmer was nearly killed by a figure going into the crused cave?" Blaze gasped when she heard about the cursed cave, she had heard stories about it, but only rumors. "We must go and see if this figure is still there. Or a least a clue as to what it was after." A fairly known and famous knight said. "BAH! So what? It's mostly long done by now and cover it's tracks. And besides, we can'r risk the cursed cave, you know the stories." Another knight said. "THAT'S the point! Their only stories, none proven. We have to..." "NO! And besides, one thing that all the stories had in common was that whoever goes in, never comes out. So this figure might already be dealt with." The knights started to argue about should they go or not. But then one had a idea. "WHAT! Wasn't there this one story that a female cat went in and came out umharmed?" The knights was thinking then started to agree. "OF COURSE! But wait...how will we get one to go in?" Blaze thought about that, this could be her big chance to have an adventure, a small one but an adventure never the less. "I'll do it!" Blaze said walking down to them. "WHAT!? No way Blaze! I can not send my own daughter to..." "But father, I want too. I always wanted to go on an adventure, and this could be a good start. And besides, who else is gonna be willing to go?" The knights agreed, the king not wanting to was having trouble deciding. "Father, please..." Blaze begged her father, with tears almost going down her face. The king really didn't want too, but agreed. "...Fine, just be careful Blaze. Or I'll never let you do anything like this again." Blaze jumped up with joy. "Oh thank you thank you thank you father!" The king nodded, hoping he did the right thing. The knights did a knight honor victory thing. Blaze was happy, her dream of an adventure was about to come true. But then a earthquake hit. Causing the whole castle to shake, everyone was panicing. "W-What's happening!?" The king asked trying not to fall down. Then the earthquake stopped, everyone was reliefed, but it was short. A sound got them to look at a window facing the throne. In it was standing the same figure that went into the cursed cave. "Well it's quite simple really, I, Shadic, am here to bring light and darkness. And make a new, perfect world. And I was the one who went into that cursed cave." The room was filled with fear and silence. "Y-You!? Why did you hurt that farmer!? And why..." "SILENCE! In order to make a peaceful new world, humans must be destroyed and those who protect them. Humans has hurt the planet FAR to much. So there for, ALL humans are doomed." Everyone gasped, and was filled with 100 % fear. "Then you must fall evil doer! We must protect EVERYone, even humans!" A knight said, taking out his sword. Shadic stared at them, wondering why. "Very well, then I give you all a gift. The same gift I'll give the humans...doom." Shadic teleported down to the knight that spoke up, and stabbed his hand into his side. The knight screamed a horrifying scream, then Shadic toss him very hard at the wall causing a crack in it. The knights were scared, but soon all started to attack him. Shadic just laughed, he jumped high in the air almost toughing the ceiling as he turned facing the ground. He stayed airborn for a few seconds, then shot down to the floor. The knights jumped away as Shadic hit the floor causing smoke to appear. He started to appear and disappear attacking them. It was a big fight and the knights were losing. Then the best knight charge at Shadic while he wasn't looking, and hit him cutting his side. Shadic yelled, but quickly round house kicked him right into a piller. "Gah, that kinda hurt...I see. Now for the item I took from that cave." Shadic took out a long grey sword that looked pure evil, and fulled with darkness. "This is the sword of fate, it's the reason why your caved was cursed. Depending on who tries to take it, a few things could happen. Worse things if they want it just for power and fame. But for those who wants to use it for good and for others, great things could happen." "Then why are you using it? What your doing if far from good." The king said crossings his arms. "Because I wanna bring peace to the world. But the humans are slowly destroying it. Even the sword agrees with me, unless they stop hurting this planet, they must be destroyed." "Really? Why not give them a chance then!? Whether then..." The king said making a point. "BECAUSE they had over like, 2000 YEARS to stop! They had to many chances, and now they just ran out of them. Even if I don't destroy them, THEY will along with this planet! What do you want? Them? Or this planet to live!? Don't even bother answering, your fate...is sealed." Shadic charge up the sword of fate, and charge at the king aiming to destroy him. Blaze saw and ran towards her father screaming no. She ran as fast as she could and ran in front of her father trying to block Shadic's attack. Shadic laughed, so when he got close enough he attack her insteand. The sword of fate hit Blaze as she crossed her arms, but it didn't hurt her. In fact, it made her glow a bright color as she was hit. She notice as well as everyone else. Shadic was confused, what did he just do? Blaze was also confused, but a orb of light appeared around her and lifted her up in the air. It started to glow with sparks and flashing lights. Then Blaze disappeared and so did the orb shortly after. Still a little confused Shadic put his sword away. "Well well, it seems the sword of fate had different plans for her. Blaze wasn't it? Well, if she returns again, she'll decide the fate of all. You, the king. I'll let you live for now, I want you to see my side of things. And the new wolrd." Shadic snapped his fingers and shades of Sonic and Shadow appeared. "Try to do anything, and my shadows will hurt you. Or those closest to you. AHAHAHAAHHAAH!" -To be continued- |

Shadic? Really? xD Other than that, and a few Typos, its an alright story, kept me mildly entertained. I always do like a story about blaze, and I liked that you began the story in her world, and got a glimpse of how princess life must be for her, though at one point she did seem slightly out of character, I'm referring to the part where she was begging her father to be allowed to find Shadic. Blaze is supposed to be a strong, confident character, and I dont believe she'd ever beg, or be on the verge of tears. Anyway, to summarize. Shadic, lol. Blaze story ok, Blaze's world welcome change. Blaze no cry! |
