This is a very attractive price. However with the recent announcement of their new handheld that will be backwards compatible, I will just get one of those instead. The base 3000 PSP is now only $129 which will probably entice many to finally dive in. I'm tempted but I'll just wait for the NGP. Also a slew of new Greatest Hits and Favorite titles. Crisis Core now only $10 new!!! http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/02/25/psp-now-available-for-129-99-new-additions-to-greatest-hits-and-favorites-collections/ |

Hmmm... I've been wanting to get rid of my heavy PSP 1000 for a while, I wonder how much I can get if I trade it in at GameStop. hate how its [] button has the sensor too far to the right. Apperently it was a intentional design, and they could do nothing about it. Anybody notice the weight difference between PSP 1000s and PSP 2000s? |

Xenogears is also $10.00. But at the same time, keep in mind that the 3000 series is harder to mod. |

The 3000 series may be harder but it's very easy to do if you don't have the newest firmware. As far as weight, the 3000 is much lighter than the original. I've owned a 1k, 2k, 3k, and a Go. lol |
