Jewel replied almost instantly to the two new faces. "Yes, I'm just sure of it!" Eggman likes to boast about his new plans!" she said. The echidna seemed almost ecstatic over the idea of fighting Eggman. Flash looked over to her and seemed uneasy. He leaned closer to Aaron. "I'm sorry, she sometimes get over excited about things. Flash shook hands with Mark. "We came here because my friend--"he was interrupted by Jewel. "I'm looking to join a team to fight Eggman, like Sonic and all his friends!" Jewel chimed, "Flash though we should take a break since we were close to the city here and we were exploring some Echidna history." "But that's when we noticed the island was falling near the Mystic Ruins and so we went to investigate. I noticed there was a bit of oil near the top of the emerald shrine and that's when Jewel reckoned it must've been Eggman." Flash added. Jewel thought for a moment, "Oddly enough too, when we got up to the top of the shrine, the guardian wasn't there. I wonder if he's hot on the trail already." |
