This RP was taken from another forum that I'm an admin at and I wanted to move it over here and see the reaction since it didn't make much noise over there. By the subtitle, you can already guess what the category is going to be. I love the Soul Calibur series. I loved #1 because of the smooth combat system and brooding storytelling; I loved #2 for the sole reason I had a Gamecube, and the GC version featured Link! I love #3 the best so far because of, once again, the combat and the storytelling -- oh, and the new characters. Out of all the new characters added to the fray, Tira is my all-time favorite. Her fighting style is damn cool (she's a killer with that ring blade), her background reminds me of a rather tortured character who needs to kill in order to prevent her from completely losing her mind (like she hasn't lost part of it already), her costume is based on deranged emotion and insanity, and her family is practically a flock of ravens. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I can't speak on #4 because I haven't played it yet, but when I do, I'll get back to you. What I wanted to do with Tira was experiment with her character a little bit. I wanted to see how it were to play out if she were to find love (dare I say it) with someone and a family who cares about her; but true to her insane psyche, it doesn't exactly work out and she reverts back to her original murderous ways. So it's a rags-to-riches-to-rags story (in this case, it's murder-to-loving family who cares-to-murder). Anyone can join. I've already spoken about being Tira. I'd need at least three other committed people. Those who decide to join and state their interest will have solidified their place. Basically, it's first come, first serve. You post first stating your interest, you're in. You do have the choice to opt out if you want, so choose wisely. One more thing. I need a Zasalamel and a Nightmare.
	Is it possible to please one person? Yes. Is it possible to please 10 people at once? Possibly, but highly unlikely. Is it possible to please over 7.4 billion human beings at one time? Impossible. ~~~~ Do not attempt to become the world's breadbasket, because it is the equivalent of torture.

Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	Soul Calibur IV was awesome, I still play it cause its that cool of a game. I do have the game cube one(which ever number is that one.) The only reason why i got those two game was; 1. Link is in the second one, and I love Link! 2. Yoda, Darth Vader, and Darth Vader's apprentice is in the fourth one, and I be a starwars fan! Anyways, this seems interesting. However, I do want to know a few things before I consider joining this. Also, I was thinking of doing a Soul Calibur type rp that is much like the games, however I'd have own twist to it/own characters and so on. I don't want to completely rip off of SC, cause ya know, that wouldn't be much fun(to me anyways.) So, back to some of the things I'd like to know before joining. 1. Can we create our own characters? 2. What are the rules for this rp. 3. Will this rp be in the beginner section or in the advance section? Thats it for now. Answer me those questions and I'll consider joining this.

I always allow open-minded creativity, though I do recommend using one of the already existing characters, but since this is a story about Tira, you can use your own characters. 2: The rules are the simple: No godmodding, as that results in you either getting warned or getting removed for continual godmodding. I take this rule seriously. Others should, too. If you notice someone hasn't posted in a while, do not post. Try to communicate to the others to hold and talk to the one who hasn't posted that he/she must post. Don't go ahead of everyone else. Be descriptive when you post. No single-line posts unless you ABSOLUTELY have to and you have nowhere to go, no post to bounce off of. No auto-hitting (will be elaborated on in the RP). It just angers others and it counts as godmodding in certain cases. Do not kill off someone else's character unless the creator of that character says that you can. It does not matter how weak they may become during battle. If you feel the need that your character has to kill off another user's character (considering they aren't kicked out by breaking the aforementioned Rule #1), ask the character creator(s). 3: This RP will be placed in the Advanced RP section. Hopefully this answers your questions. Now to wait for a few more people.

I also recommend that you add a character sheet for those that wish to use their own characters instead of official Soul Calibur characters.
