 (ok...let me get into character here...ahem.....)
As the group of warriors began their trek up the mountain, something was watching them from afar. not from the sky, but from....space.

Yes you heard that right...space.

An intelligence satellite was monitoring their progress. It's mission? very simple. to find out where to find the pencil blade.

as for the mountains......

The mountains were rocky, hilly, and jagged. Any foot who treaded on these rocks and hills had better be careful, as any step could be their last.....

 (As for me, after Sky decided to torch to forest I fought him and then let him "kill" me [This]. I grew back in the tree. After I came back I started heading off towards the blade. I came across the town Sky had taken a temporary residence in. I went in, disguised, to see what I could do to Sky, as revenge can be a main motive of mine. Another fight sort of thing just started, but it's been a while and nothing's happened. [All in first-person.])

 KwilZ whined slightly as his foot was pierced by a brooding piece of stone.
"Jeez. I didn't sign up for footslogging. I was expecting a dragon or some sort of mountain oni... Something fierce to ward off trespassers."
He sighed deeply as he peered about left and right. No landmarks or obvious symbols that he could make out as an indicator of significance, and turned his face to Blackhog and Ezekial, pining for a hint on their faces.
"Any clue gents?"
The rose tinted glasses of nostalgia often hide the stupidity of prior made statements. Nothing brings this revelation about as clearly as revisiting old posts...

Fear the cold...
 "No" Ezekial said firmly. "You know I can't trust you at all with the map, you tried to kill me back there," and failed badly at that, he added in his mind. The mountain wasn't all to bad for him, he was wearing shoes. They also made it much easier for him to get a handhold on ledges. He really didn't have to much to complain about, unlike KwilZ, and maybe BlackhogX50.

"As for dragons and such," Ezekial said, continuing to climb quickly upwards and turning his attention towards KwilZ, "I really wouldn't mind going for a few right now. I feel like I'm out of shape." He let his arm dangle comically, as if to prove a point. "Until then, let's just keep climbing."
