Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	I know most of you have been waiting for me to come out with a new chapter in The Soul of Sonic Blast, but I'm still planning things out and working on some other stuff. I was so caught up by everyone's ideas about the shack episode, that I actually turned the darn thing into it's own flipping story! In short, the ONE episode became two, then three, and now it is way of course of where I wanted to go with SoSB. However, I didn't feel like just scraping the whole thing, so I figured I'd turn it into it's own story while you all wait for me to post up a new chapter in SoSB. I hope you enjoy this filler. Chapter One: What the shack? "AHHHH!" A loud scream echoed throughout a lonely and empty hallway. It was dark, and the little light that seemed to be present came form nowhere. No light bulbs were fixed upon the ceiling or along the walls. The light seemed to just exist. "I said I don't know anything!! please, STOP!!" The voice shouts once more, agony and pain was present in this male's horrified screams. The hallways of this dark place seem to an abyss, traveling for miles towards an unreachable goal. Like a maze that only had one path to walk on, but changed every now and then. "What the HELL do you want!! Please! LEAVE ME BE!!" The voice grew louder, his cries seemed more lifeless, as if his life was quickly expiring. The sound of flesh ripping open echoed ever so lightly among the silence, until his roar yell of pain demolished it and shook the very walls. The sound of blood could be heard splattering along the floor. A furry body dropped to it's own pool of blood. It was a furry, a mouse in fact. His wide eyes showed no life. They were empty, lifeless, dead, just like the sounds all around him. The sound of clanking footsteps started to slowly rise, coming towards the dead mouse and the one who killed him. "Hey, Devlin, TUC found something worth looking at." A deep voice informed the robotic demon. His armor has improved much, making his overlord presence that more keen. He stood taller as well, standing about six feet in height. "Should I clean up this mess for ya?" The tall dog asked, wearing heavy armor as he shifted his weight a bit to stand comfortably. "Unnecessary. I can handle this myself." He informs the warrior, and suddenly the body exploded into black dust as it seeps into the ground. "Lead the way." Devlin add, to which he starts to walk down the hall as the tall warrior followed him. Within seconds, they suddenly vanished within the dark abyss of the hallway. Sunlight, shining down upon a town that could be described in two words... Old Western. A tumbleweed rolls by the sandy road, passing in front of a cowboy. More like a space cowboy at that, as is clothing wasn't really old western type. In fact, the only thing western about this guy was his black cowboy and his two guns strapped to his hip. He wore a tight black space suite of some sort that had two tails like a butler's suite, and all black jeans with black boots. His hair was dark purple and his eyes were a gold color. He also had a silver cross as a pendant that had the words Faith written on it. Thus, this person was none other then CrossFaith, one of the new rp knights. On the other side of this small town was his opponent he was facing off. It was another human, Telsa, or Chocobo as he was known as before Lilsonic died. "Come on Chocobo!! Kick his butt!!" Zak shouts as he sat on the roof of a house. Red-BoomBox was right next to him, smiling at the sight of the two facing off in a draw match. "Go CrossFaith!! Show him the power of the RP Knights!" Blaire blurts out, not really what she'd normally say or do, but she didn't want to make it seem like everyone was only cheering for Chocobo. "Um, Blaire, you do realize that you aren't a rp knight any more, right?" ChaosTH asked, sitting on the railing next to her. However, she was standing and leaning on the railing of this porch. Miracle was next to Blaire, also leaning on the railing and watching. "Yeah, I know. But CrossFaith is the guy person, sorta. I don't want to make him feel outcast or anything." "I see your point. To be honest I still don't trust him. Or rather, I don't trust who he takes orders from. DF seems to feel the same as well." Chaos states, voicing his opining on the matter as he watched CrossFaith closely. "Don't forget Devlin. He hates CrossFaith, with a passion." Fwiss's voice seemed to come out of nowhere, nor was he near them either. He was actually on the rooftop above them, sitting at the edge with his legs swinging lightly. "Who do you think is going to win this?" Miracle asked, trying to make this time pass quicker, seeing as Chocobo and CrossFaith were taking their time in shooting each other. "Who do think is going to lose?" Red-BoomBox asked Zack, and the two others around him. Of course, R-BB was sitting on the other side of Miracle and the rest of them. They all watched intensely as the two gunslingers stared into each others eyes, as if trying to read each others mind. "I bet on Chocobo losing, even though I dislike CrossFaith." John Stone replies to Red-BoomBox. He was sitting on the railing of the porch below Zack and R-BB. "I say Chocobo is going to win. He seems more serious about this then CrossFaith does." Radar answered Miracle's question. He was sitting next to Fwiss on the roof above them. "Hey!!" A voice echoed loudly, to which everyone turned to face the speaker. Unfortunately, the speaker was behind Chocobo, which was him to looked over his shoulder and take his eyes off of CrossFaith... Pow! "Ahhh!!" Chocobo spins to his left as blood spewed out of his shoulder. He rolled on the ground a bit before sliding onto his knees while grabbing his left shoulder. "You piece of sh-" "Yeah, your the one that looked away. It was a fair shot, don't cry over it." CrossFaith cut the human off, twirling his gun with a smirk as he walked towards Chocobo, and of course towards the speaker behind him. Once CrossFaith reached Chocobo, he extended his hand to help him up. Of course, Chocobo grunted a annoyed grunt as he stood on his own, leaving the space cowboy to smirk as he drew his hand back and shook his head a bit. "Now, what could be so important for you to interrupt out little drawing match, Tension?" CrossFaith asked as everyone else started to gather around the three of them. The female tiger leaned on one hip as she waited for everyone to gather so she wouldn't need to repeat herself. "TUC has found something, and he wants everyone to see this." She informs everyone, watching Chocobo remove his hand from his shoulder, to which is started to rapidly heal as essences from around them began to gather on the wound. "So, certain places in the shack can actually heal people..." Tension thought for a moment, then nodded her head to everyone as she lead the way. Moments later, Tension and Gladiator show up at the same time with those that were following them. They met in a open field that stretched for miles, endless it would seem. "This way." Tension informed everyone as they gathered together and continued to follow the two of them up a hill. Soon, the approached TUC who had his back towards them. Once they reached the top, everyone's eyes lit up with awe and disbelieve. "Wha...What is this..." Miracle asked, her eyes becoming watery as whats eh stared upon seemed to overwhelm her. "I don't know... But whatever it is, I don't like it." TUC replied as he moved forward and placed his hand on a crystal formation that was bigger then him. Inside the crystal was Lilsonic, eyes closed with a peaceful look about him, as if he was sleeping. "But, how can this be? I mean, Lilsonic was the only one to die, right? Then why... Are we... Are we dead too?" Zak asked as he gazed upon the rest of the field, which was covered with thousands upon thousands of crystal formations. Zak quickly spotted himself in one of the crystals, and each person managed to find themselves among the many other SB members encased in these crystals. "If that is the case, then all of these crystals aren't just from our forum..." TUC explains, to which everyone simply stared in awe as he joined the others, spotting himself encased in one of the crystals. What did this mean? Why were there crystals of each member in this field? "John, I need you to go get Cy-Fox and Bowie for me... I have a feeling these crystals aren't part of the shack... And if they are, then there is much about the shack that we don't know... And that, is a scary thought indeed." TUC informs, to which John slowly shook his head, then headed off to find Cy and Bowie. Deleted User	Pretty good, but I do have one little issue... Quote: "Gladiator... You have yet to learn the ways of the Shack Basement... Those unworthy to me, will be devoured by the shack." I really have no idea what the hell this is supposed to mean. There is no 'way' of the Shack's basement- it's just a basement. Granted, a labyrinth of a basement infested with all manners of abominations, but still just a basement. Plus, the Shack doesn't devour. It's a SHACK. AND, I can't even think of how that sentence makes ANY sense as a response to what Gladiator asked. And I don't even really like the Shack, 'in character'. I think of it as little more than another of my Outposts, so I doubt I would be speaking of it like that. I probably would have said something more like "Unnecessary. I can handle this one myself. -body disintegrates- There. Now get out of my sight, vermin."

You never replied to my pm, so I figured you simply didn't want to reply(or something like that) But, I couldn't wait forever, so i just went with it. Anyways, I'll edit that part and add in what you just put!(only cause I wasn't sure if the shack was allowed to eat dead bodies or not...
