Marble Garden Act 2
|
In an attempt to jump into the forum, I went here, and was disappointed to see the place is mostly locked and old topics, so nothing really to discuss. Nevertheless, I'll try my hand to catch some people's interest. For example... I'm not sure if anyone's noticed, but the games have a habit of referencing key points to the future titles. For instance, Sonic the Hedgehog: Let's Mosey With Mephiles has Sonic look at the moon at the end, and then the next major game involves the moon and Sonic changing into a werehog at night. Or in Riders, they reference a flying carpet, and then Sonic and Shahra use one in Secret Rings. Anyone else agree to this or notice other examples? |

Apart from those situations you've suggested and let's face it in Riders they are on flying boards so a "flying carpet" isn't too out of the ordinary to reference although I see the point and there are a lot of films, shows, animé and such that have their hero look up to the sky/moon at the end of something as an open ended ending... However, I do agree this is kind of intriguing do you have any other examples you can provide or is it just these two? |

Yeah, trying to go off my memory here...oh, there was the one in SA2 that led to Heroes. "Rest easy heroes." And then there's Zero Gravity's Hero Ending, where they talk about the next Grand Prix, which shows up in Free Riders. |

Good to be back
|
Weren't Shadow and Omega the only two left standing aboard the Egg Fortress in Sonic Heroes, and then we got a Shadow the Hedgehog game? |

"I didn't use the whole thing ...."

Grasping at straws arn't we? Heroes is quite an easy title to give someone that just save the planet so I hardly think theres any connection in that one. As for Zero Gravity, that cutscene was followed by the Grand Prix mode in the game becoming unlocked, so again no real connection. |

Interesting.. I never thought of any of this. However, when Sonic was in the moon (or whatever) at the very end of Sonic 2006, I was, and still, mostly go "WHERE'D THE MISSING HALF COME FROOOOM!?!?!?" |

=SB= Sonic Logic Theorist.

To answer the full moon issue, I recall seeing a picture from Sonic Riders Zero Gravity where there were two moons The level I don't recall but the idea does give us something to work with, Maybe Sonic's World (Eggman just calls it "Sonic's World" in Sonic Colors, simply hiding the mystery of the multiple renditions of Sonic's World throughout the series) might have more than one moon But hey, Sonic Rider's isn't even canon.

Sonic CD also supports the two moon thing (well, they had three, but one would be ARK). And Riders is canon depending on the fan.
