Sandopolis Act 2 Posts: 2,431 Group: S Rank Hero Member #11,135 Joined: June 14, 2010	OK, I think I already know the answer but, to change your name you fill in the New Username and hit change name right? Asking to avoid a error.

If you're there, you fill in your desired username and then hit "Change Name". Simple as that. Of course, you'll have to wait for a mod to approve it once it's been submitted. But as soon as they do you'll be good to go.

I mean I find it gets terribly confusing to keep up with people when they constantly change their names to have "monthly name change games". Can't we only change them so many times or something or have it cost so many posts/rings to do it?

Sometimes, you don't even need that; I've hardly ever been confused by a name change. I can tell who someone is through several means. Edited by HollyYoshi, Jan 21 2011, 08:45 AM.

So for someone who is trying to converse in the shack and suddenly an influx of new names pop up I just go "Bwah?" and forget who everyone is.

Some of the names, I have no problem figuring out who they are behind the new name. But some people I just have no earthly idea. Some people I only figure out by noticing what other people call them. Then other times I'm about to reply to someone specifically like in the Shack or something, and then I pause and think "Wait, is this really who this is or am I getting the two mixed up again?" then I have to click on the person's profile, go to name history, then assure myself that it's actually them then go back to where I was and rewrite the post. I have to do this until I get their identity memorized. It's sort of a hassle but I suppose there are other means to make it easier on me/someone also having to do this. Eh, I just thought I'd put my input in I don't think it needs to be changed or altered or anything...

Like either have their old name featured (like they did with the Christmas themed names) or like you said put original name in brackets.
