The leaflets from earlier details a paid means of travel, whether by boat, plane, train, or magick portal. That last one was most peculiar in this modern age, but it didn't stop you from wondering. After all, the media was never able to find out who was running the tournament; just who was sponsoring it. The leaflet's destination was clear enough; The Kingdom of Mercia. It seemed odd that the backwater country would be the tournament location.... whatever. They could use the revenue from the tourism.

The arena was just behind the walls next to the compound for the combatants. After accepting your credentials, you were led to an area with modest living arrangements; a place to sleep, a cafeteria, and, closest to the arena, a locker room. There were all manner of sorts of people, mobian and human, milling about; making sure the food was stocked and the rooms serviced.

Near the entrance to the compound, a female armadillo stood, dressed in an open, wide-necked blouse under a leather bodice, and a skirt. Sandals adorned her feet. As you approach, she bows low.

"Welcome to the Fourth SB Tournament, ser. I hope your stay will be pleasant. My name is Jennifer Arlosdottar, and I represent the overseer of the Tournament. If there is anything that you may require outside what we currently offer, please seek me out."

As the contestants arrived, a cold breeze began to rise in the east, gradually increasing in intensity. Attendants, familiar with the change in the weather, began to light bonfires here and there within the compound. Lanterns were lit in response to the ominous dark clouds growing behind the wind.

Jennifer stood in the opening to the compound, keeping as straight a face as possible, despite the sudden drop in temperature. She maintained her facade, smiling and greeting the combatants, but the first chance she got, she wrapped her bare arms about her waist and shivered. Though it had been a long time since she and Samuel first met, every time the winter months came, it always reminded her of....

A movement behind her pulled her away from the flashback that threatened to rise and overwhelm her, and she opened her eyes with a start. As she glanced behind her, armored hands drew a wool hooded cloak about her shoulders. With a tenderness a stranger wouldn't expect, Samuel gently fastened the clasp closed over her bosom.

"Bad weather coming in. Wouldn't want ya to catch cold."

Jennifer turned around, beaming, and returned the gesture with a kiss, cradling his face between her hands. "Thank you, husband. You came to my rescue again."

"It's what I'm here for, Jenny," Samuel replied nonchalantly. A smile was on his face, though his eyes was the only evidence of concern. He had arrived not a moment too soon, for her skin had begun to shimmer, as though she were completely submerged in water. The irises in her eyes had almost completely disappeared as well. Now that she had the cloak wrapped about her, the changes had begun to subside.

"We're expecting a few more people, and the tournament will commence after they arrive," Samuel added. "Think you can hold up until then?"

"As long as you're here, my love."

"Alright then. I'll be right back; going to check on the contestants already here. Sounds like a lot of them ended up going to the tavern / mess hall thing over there. I'll come back once I'm done, alright?"

"Alright, I'll be waiting for you." Samuel stalked off toward the direction of the cafeteria, and Jennifer sighed, before resuming her role as the greeter. "Welcome to the Fourth SB Tournament. I hope your stay will be pleasant. My name is Jennifer Arlosdottar, and I represent the overseer of the Tournament. If there is anything that you may require outside what we currently offer, please seek me out."

(Please note, this is only for approved combatants.)

Akashi made his way to the tournament, carrying a long bag with his left hand he was greeted by an armadillo by the name of Jennifer. The tiger nodded with a faint smile. “Hi.” He walked in to see other contenders for this tournament, all different races. The feline walked over to a counter, where possibly one of his opponents was sat. He looked over the counter to see if whoever was serving. “Excuse me. Could I have a drink please? Anything refreshing would do.”

The tiger looked around the area at competitors, whom he would be possibly fighting. He did not talk to anyone because he did not know them, also they will be fighting soon. Akashi is in this tournament to win. The last one, he came close to victory. But in the end he was defeated. But this time the feline was certain he was going to win.

Jake was finally approaching the city, and in no time he would be in the tournament. In an extreme board there he was, ready to fight is way trow the tournament until...

Wait a second, what the prize again?

He look in front and saw a tree. Quickly evade it but lost control, going from one side to the other.

"Look out!"

He shouted to the people around until he finally saw the "holding area".

"I'm going to make it."

In that moment the extreme gear turn 90º making him fall and he start slide until he entered the "Holding Area". He got up and look back at his extreme gear on the floor broken into pieces.

"Great, look like I won't be able to use that during the fights. "

He look inside the building and there was someone near him.

"Welcome to the Fourth SB Tournament, ser. I hope your stay will be pleasant. My name is Jennifer Arlosdottar, and I represent the overseer of the Tournament. If there is anything that you may require outside what we currently offer, please seek me out."

Jake took a few step back from the surprise and said.

"Well I have a few question:
What the prize of the tournament and is there a place were I can bring..."

He look back at the pieces in the floor, not many meters away.

"What left of my board to someone fix it while I'm here?"

"I'd like one of those," Kelsey said perched on her stool pointing to one of the light alcohols sitting on the glass shelves. The chains on her iron shackles rapidly thumped against the hard wood bar table when she lowered her hands, sitting back on her seat. Upon received her drink she then threw a thumb at the odd looking creature, Shanui, who was but a few stools away, "and if you could I'd like some of what this guy's havin', thanks."

With a soft smile she faced her back against the table and leaned back, crossing a leg over her knee and leaning an elbow on the bar table. With her first drink in hand she rose it up and thought, 'to friends,' taking a few sips at a time. She had a feeling that this tournament wasn't like the others she had attended, only hearing gossip and humors about it as a whole.

"A beaut' of a place for a torny, don't 'cha think?" the beastman asked the two combatants in the bar.

"He came back... To apologize... And didn't even stay long enough to wait for your name." Lunar spoke, blinking his one eye in confusion as Nick came and went rather quickly. What was this guy's deal? How could anyone be thinking about friendship in a place like this? However, in Ven's eyes, Nick was now that more honorable.

"My my, I'll never understand these people."

"There is nothing to understand... Only that they fear what they don't understand." Ven replied quickly, to which the nano bot looked at Ven for a moment, then fixed his attention on the entrance of the bar.

"I forgot how poetic you are... I haven't seen you like this since you faced your brother." Once again, Ven didn't reply. Lunar simply nodded a confirming 'I'll keep my mouth shut' nod. It was at that moment that Kelsey came in, after Akashi came and sat down course. The place was getting as crowded as it was outside.

"A beaut' of a place for a torny, don't 'cha think?"

"Its too bright...." Ven replied to Kelsey, not really too sure why he did. Maybe it was because her scent lengthen his fangs a bit more. She had a sweet smell about her. A tasteful smell, one to die for, as it were. However, he'd have to find his source of food else where. Wouldn't want to cause a scene just yet.

Trying to go with a theme this time
"You're a funny one, you are! Nay, I'm not the ring leader of anythin'. And keep your modern sensibilities to yerself; I've no need to prove authority to you. I'm the enforcer, or 'the bouncer,' if you will. That's all you need know."

Kenji almost ignored the armadillo's answer, but he continued to grip his swords, still challenging the commando. A few moment's passed after he had finished speaking before Kenji turned and headed off for the ever-so-popular bar. Making his way through the crowd of fighters and warriors, he pulled up a stool and call for the bartender's attention. "You dont happen to have traditional green tea, would ya?" he asked politely. The man nodded and went off to prepare Kenji's order. He slapped on his headphones in the meantime and listened to Green Day.

After a while the bartender came back with a cup, steam rising from the top of it. "Arigatogozaimasu." Kenji thanked him in Japanese as he slid the cup down the bar to him. He slipped off his headphones and slowly took a sip the nice refreshing cup of tea. As he put the cup down, he could hear to his left someone muttering, "Its too bright...."

Kenji looked in the voice's direction to find a rather dark, almost evil looking Mobian siting next to him, replying to someone else. He remembered this guy when that red fox whipped out his gun at what he said. Kenji thought for a bit; he sure didn't look too friendly, Kenji figured he should at least get to know the people around him before they enter the arena and battle against him.

"Yo," Kenji called for the man's attention. He remembered how this man wanted blood and even asked for it aloud. Although this sorta freaked him out, he couldn't let that keep him from retaining his signature positive and open armed attitude. "Don't worry, I'm sure you can get some blood by the end of your first match."

Through the crowd moved a young man with fire red hair. A tad gangly, he wore an expression that only conveyed 'I don't want to be here'. The boy made all sorts of excuses as he pushed his way through the crowd, some not excuses at all.
"Coming through." "'Scuse you." "Move out the way." "F**K YOU!" Ignoring all the intricacies of the event he overlooked the greeter, and once inside scanned the area to find someone to give him information. Like the greeter he passed over. "When's this shit get started?" He blurted out loud on the off chance he was still within earshot of someone who knew.
In reality, the adolescent hadn't a clue what the 'shit' was, as he had by chance wandered past the large gathering and decided to take part. It didn't matter if he had by chance wandered into a lemming herd and was in the process of being carted off to his doom, as his journey wasn't a matter of 'where to' but 'away from', and this place was so away from the from that even the sky looked different.
All the better, he thought. Being dimensionally displaced wasn't much of a concern, but he had to at least figure out where he was to figure out where he was going.
Setting that aside, he saw there was a bar, and they were serving drinks. Diving onto the counter he motioned to the barkeep. Not knowing the names of any alcoholic beverages, he improvised.
"Gimme something to forget who I am...which a side order of shit-faced." Realizing he had no money-or no money they would take-he improvised some more. "Put it on my tab. First name Blader, last name...Blader? I guess..."
Blader Blader swiveled around on his stool to eye what would unknowingly be his competition with little interest. Despite his ignorance of what he had gotten himself into Blader still treated them all like they were looking for a fight. "I could take her, her, her, do her THEN take her, him, her, him, him, that guy might be some trouble but I'd f**k him up in the end." He stopped upon eying a violet tinted dog making her way into the area. Blader squinted, then looked down at his shirt, then rubbed his chin as if that would aid his thinking process in any way, and finally he muttered out a sentence to himself.
"I...really hate that chick..." Embraced by this irrational hatred of someone he doesn't know or remember Blader scanned the premises again for someone who could reasonably hold authority over him, presumably someone he hasn't already deemed he could take.
"If I killed that one, would anyone notice? He looked down at his hand, and from it a glowing red smoke began to emanate. Making a faux gun with his fingers he pointed at her, only to be distracted by heavy glass sliding across the counter-top.
"Alright!" He exclaimed, picking up the bottle with his glowing hand. The glistening brown glass immediately broke under the pressure, spilling its contents onto the counter. Looking solemnly at the ruined beverage he placed his hands at his sides and began to suckle at the liquid.

"Hmm?" Lunar questioned, turning towards Kenji to see who was addressing them. Ven on the other hand kept his focus on the counter, not bothering to even get a glance at Kenji. He already knew what he smelled like, and that is all he needed to know.

"Blood? Is that ALL you can come up with for small talk?" Lunar asked, almost as if he was offended by Kenji's comment. Ven didn't change his expression at all. Nor did he motion Lunar to stop speaking for him.

"If he wanted blood, he would already have gotten it... Do you think of him as some mindless vamp who only has blood on his mind? You know nothing about him, nothing at all. So why make a comment such as that?" Lunar questioned, not trying to snap at Kenji, but he was seriously confused. Did Kenji asked that question because he thought Ven was a vampire? If so, what was his take on vampires? Does that mean everyone will automatically judge Ven or look at him in a certain way because he asked for blood? Because those that were present when he asked for blood might think of him as a vampire, and their outlook on vampires is what they will think of him?

"He isn't some lost puppy to be talked to in that manner. He is-"

"Enough, Lunar." Ven's slightly deep yet haunting voice flowed out of his mouth and silenced the nano bot. However, Lunar kept his eye fixed upon Kenji, making it hard to determine if the nano bot was a bit angry at him, or that was simply how he always looked.

"Blood is not what I seek. Nor do I seek friendship, so do not engage in a conversation with me if that is what you plan for..." Ven informed him, not wanting to push Kenji away, however, he wasn't good at small talk or making friends. His temptation to feed on them was always there. Why would anyone want a friend that was tempted to feed on them at any given chance. No, friends is not what he needed. There was something much more he wanted. Something his alias stood for... Vengeance...

Ven shifted his eyes to his left for a moment as odd scent entered the bar. Someone who called them self Blader. What a foul scent he had. However, his blood might be of good taste. Either way, he was a cocky lad, and couldn't keep his mind fixed on one thing at time it seems, as he managed to shatter the cup containing his drink while his mind caused his hand to ready for a fight, it would seem. Unless, he was simply scared out of his mind that he thought he needed to prepare in case he was attacked. Either way, this guy seemed rather... Unstable. He would destroy himself before anyone got near him.

This perked an interest to the Minotaurus, almost enough to completely make her unaware of the unstable man the popped in.

'A vampire?' Kelsey thought, 'well the connection fits. I thought when he was asking for blood, that he meant brawl. Huh.'

She ordered some water before downing the rest of her drink. Despite how much she desired to approach Ven, the beastman didn't. 'Vampires typically tend to be quite old. Could be the reason why he came to the bar in the first place, before people started to come in,' she paused looking at the person who named themselve Blader. 'Bonds.'

"Thanks, again, dear," she smiled to the barkeep, twisting the cap of cool plastic bottle of fresh water.

Blader

"Alright!"
Kelsey only caught a glimpse of Blader's glowing hand when he decimated the once sliding beverage. 'Jesus,' she flinched. This definitely wasn't like any tournament she's been in.

Rotating his head to rest it on the counter Blader looked over at the white haired undead. His eyes were wide, as if he were trying to draw attention to the fact he had two irises. He wore a grimace as he spoke and his voice was completely deadpan.
"I can see you staring at me." and then he sat like that, his head resting in the puddle he made. After a moment of silence Blader turned his head back upright and went straight back to suckling. Wait...no... He thought, his eyes darting around, seeing if anyone noticed the scene he made. Jumping up he put on his best fake smile and began chatting it up with his fellow patrons.
"Hi, how ya doing, guys?" His voice was thick with sarcasm, though he didn't know it. Now resting his head in his hands he batted his eyes at the assortment of colorful competitors and began drilling them for information under the guise of friendly banter. "So...what the hell's going on? Are you all lemmings, cause I can leave right now."
Upon actually taking a good look at the group he noticed a lot of them carried weapons, weapons he didn't have, and his faux smile dropped for a moment. Shit, these guys are strapped. Realizing the much too late facade was compromised he quickly plastered a smile back on.

Alex glanced in the direction that the greeter had pointed. He could clearly see a sign that pointed in the direction of the cafeteria. Alex could hardly believe that he had missed it. He shrugged it off as fatigue and began to walk towards the cafeteria.
"Thanks, miss." said Alex as he walked past the female armadillo.

As soon as Alex reached the cafeteria he headed straight for his goal. With steaming cup of coffee in hand, Alex finally decided to glance around the room. He could see that a few of the other competitors were around the bar at the other end of the room. Alex decided to walk over and see what was what.

Not really the sort to jump into a conversation with others, Alex simply sat down at the bar and ordered a shot of Bailey's for his coffee. He took the first sip of his drink and relaxed slightly with a content smile on his face.
"Any place with coffee this good can't be all bad." muttered Alex to himself.

Seeing as the cat ignored his comment and then, very diplomaticly, commented on Ven's wanting blood. "Okay then dude, just walk off...." Nick turned around only to see a purple siberian huskey, "What the hell....How did she get here," I mean nothing could've been slower than the train Nick took. But where Nick came from it was a great way of transportation being as the train's average speed was one hundred mph. Nick quickly sped off to the siberian huskey in the distance to get a closer look at her. Nick examined her upclose to learn much about her. With his keen eyesight, and being up so close, his eyesight was nothing short of a microscope. Though this mobian, obviously enough, was extremely mysterious and Nick couldn't find much out about her that Nick understood. All he knew was that she worked for an organization that Nick wasn't sure he wanted to know much about. She was an agent, that much was obvious.

Hmm, so far, so good.

Agent Blaire Fields had arrived at the cafeteria, a pleasant smile plastered on her lavender-furred snout. The reason for the grin was simple; she felt calm here, relaxed. Much of the anxiety that had been coursing through her body had almost poured out, like a toxin being removed from a substance. The cafeteria in the last tournament had had an evil aura about it, quite fitting to the decadent disposition of the hosts. The husky had felt tense while inside the canteen, knowing the judges could have been there, probing her every thought.

But this refectory had none of that. Oh, there was tension alright, but it was a completely different form of such. It was a warm sort of pressure, brought upon not by pure evil, but simply by wondering who would be facing who in this competition. The basic, the core atmosphere of the cafeteria – and in veracity, the entire tournament – seemed highly moral.

All that’s left it seems is for the hosts to come and greet us. Oh, the ‘overseer’, as that armadillo called ‘em. And she seems legit. It doesn’t seem like she’s just acting friendly or anything like that. This certainly makes me feel better.

The canine stepped inside the canteen, purple tail drifting slowly from left to right. The young Mobian glanced around the giant room, gauging the sights, the sounds, the smells, and just the general ambiance. As she had felt when she simply looked in, now that she was actually inside the refectory, the Siberian Husky felt quite composed. A slight smirk grew on her face, like a fast-growing vine along a fence post and she crossed her arms over her chest.

“Well, well, well,” she whispered to herself, leaning against the wall. “What a challenging bunch. I’ve got my work cut out for me.” The canine shrugged her shoulders, half-closing her azure eyes.

“Eh, after several years worth of taking down Klawzax Agents and Robotnik’s SWATbot armies, I think I have the skills to last through this tournament. And as long as there’s no pressure for me to win, I can focus on having some real fun this time around.”

Slowly, Blaire pushed herself off the wall. As she straightened out her posture, the violet-furred freedom fighter brushed back her ears. Just as they sprang back into place did the dog take several steps forward, towards the bar. Though the husky was a year under the legal age, she figured this hostelry would have something she could drink. A soda, perhaps? Flavored water? Even some mint tea would be nice.

Not that these places would serve mint anything. They never seem to, even if they have a concession stand or anything. It’s quite a shame, really,” Blaire thought, her mouth twisted into a frown.

And it’s for that reason I bring my own snacks to things like this.

The Siberian Husky sauntered up to the counter and took a seat at one of the stools. She took a brief moment to clear her throat, before tapping the counter in an attempt to get the attention of a server. When a bartender turned around from cleaning a glass, cloth still jammed in the round mouth of the mug, Blaire was quick to request something to wet her whistle.

“Might I request some mint tea, if you have any of that on hand, I mean?” the violet-furred Mobian inquired, propping her elbows up on the granite bar top and using the tops of her paws to support her chin. The dog flashed a smile; despite the fact that she didn’t believe this bar even had such a drink available, the canine felt it would be nice to make an honest attempt at checking.

“Certainly ma’am. Comin’ right up.”

Slam!

Blaire’s paws slipped onto the smooth surface of the counter, the sudden resonance causing the bartender to jump. He looked at the Siberian Husky in confusion, head tilted to one side. The purple Mobian’s eyes were wide – one with a voracious appetite would have drooled at the sight, seeing as how they looked like two fried eggs in skillets. Raising a paw, she opened her mouth, but naught a whisper emerged from her throat. As she set the gloved appendage down, the dog finally heaved a soft sigh, one that no one would have heard unless they were right next to her, and had keen-enough hearing. And with the seats on both sides of her empty, that wouldn’t be possible.

“Is there something wrong, ma’am?”

Blaire had lowered her head after that little shock to her system – she raised it back up when the bartender addressed her, the husky’s features more or less normal again. “Hmm? Oh, it’s nothing. It’s just that…” the Oakland Resistance Division Agent paused for a second. “I just didn’t think you guys would actually have mint tea.”

“Then why did you even ask?” the bartender questioned, regarding the Siberian Husky with a raised eyebrow.

“Wishful thinking,” Blaire replied calmly, brushing her fringe to one side.

“Fair enough,” the bartender stated, stepping away from the counter and over to the various types of drinks.

As Blaire waited to be served, she lightly spun her chair until her back was to the counter. The canine relaxed, arms crossed over her chest and legs crossed over each other. Now seemed as good a time as any to start getting a better feel for her future opponents. Without moving her head, the Mobian’s eyes shifted left to right instead.

So far, she didn’t recognize any of the other creatures in the canteen, save for a tiger that looked familiar, but she couldn’t quite place the face. “Hmm, I’m remembering a tiger at the last tourney. Was it him? Could be…

There was also another competitor that caught her eyes; and he was one Blaire would have recognized easily. It was Blader, the demon adolescent the canine had faced in the last tournament. She remembered that it had been a close match, but ultimately, Blaire had been the victor. As Blader pointed his fingers in a gun-like matter, however, the freedom fighter frowned.

There’s no way he would try that here, right?

The Siberian Husky reached for her sword hilt, ready to defend herself should the need arise. However, fate saw fit to intervene, and the boy was served his own drink. The canine soon relaxed, the ghost of a smug grin on her visage. This grew larger when she bore witness to a rather interesting sight; the glass shattering in Blader’s grip. She fought the chuckles that threatened to spill from her throat, thankfully. After all, it wasn’t like Blader had been a pushover in their fight, and she didn’t want to get into a fight before the actual tournament had begun.

Clink.

Blaire’s ears swiveled around at the sound, her body and the stool following suite. In front of her stood a glass of light green liquid. The bartender nodded at the husky.

“Mint tea, just like you asked for.”

“Why thank you very much,” the Mobian told him politely, her smirk having recently transformed into a sincere smile.

As soon as the bartender turned his back, Blaire grabbed the glass in her paw. She took an experimental sip, to get a taste of what she could expect. Needless to say, as soon as a drop of the sweet beverage hit her tongue, the Oakland Resistance Division Agent’s eyes widened in pleasure. “Not bad, not bad at all. And it has just the right amount of peppermint.

Before the husky could take another, larger gulp, she caught someone looking at her out of the corner of her eye. The violet-furred dog twisted her head and regarded the grey fox with a puzzled look on her face. “May I help you?”

Would replying to such a comment from Blader be worth it, the vampire thought. To which he simply stared for a few moments, watching him go about in such a ridiculous fashion. Ven finally looked away, fixing his eyes on the counter once more. Lunar on the other hand continued to look about, sizing up the fighters as his eye scanned each of them up and down.

"Bartender..." Ven's deep and haunting voice lightly echoed, grabbing the bartender's attention rather quickly.

"Um, yes, what can I do for you." Ven paused for a moment, as if debating if he should even order what was on his mind. As will, thinking if this will satisfy him even a tiny bit.

"Never mind... I'll just get it myself." Ven replied, a bit of anger rising within his voice. He stood up, his stool screeching back a bit as he put on his sunglasses.

"Do you mean... Your going to... Right now?" Lunar asked, almost as if he didn't understand why Ven waited this long, or rather, why he was going at this moment.

"Its been six months... I need to if I want to win." Ven replies, not expecting anyone to hear his conversation with his nano bot. Either way, he didn't really care if someone heard him. What were they going to do, stop him? They don't even know where or what he was going to do. The meerkat adjusted his sunglasses a bit more, then headed off towards the entrance as Lunar followed close behind him. He suddenly stops, and stared at a young female hare. He lowered his sunglasses so his eyes could be seen as he spoke a few words to her. She stared, memorized, into his eyes for a moment. Then, she nodded her head and started leading him out the entrance door. It didn't take long for the two of them, three of them if you count Lunar, to disappear from sight with all these people moving about. Getting lost in a crowd was easy to do, that much was true.

Kelsey kept her focused eyes upon the vampire all the way to the point when he eventually exited the bar with a hare escort. She stared blankly at the bar's entrance until the barkeep got her attention with the food she ordered earlier. Taking a good whiff of the freshly prepared meat she gleamed up to the barkeep, thanking him, "oh, this drink's on the house?"

She frowned as the tempting drink sat in front of her. With a worried look Kelsey turned her head in hopes for someone else to freely take it, fearing that more alcohol would mess with her first match. The beastman pointed to the purple furred husky, Blaire, who had entered shortly before Ven exited, "Give it to her, for me, if you'd be so kind."

Silverware in hand she neatly cut the steak into fours before chowing down. She couldn't help but let out a pleasurable "Mmm" as the mixture of peppery textures and sweet barbecue sauce crashed around her tongue.

The airbrush is my bitch
Watching as the vampire ignored his half-hearted facade Blader's face dropped into a notable frown.
"Son of a bitch ignored me" he muttered aloud, watching as the vampire exited the bar. For a moment the boy had lost interest, rapping against the counter in boredom. It wasn't until he looked back that he noticed the aloof meerkat and a rabbit making their way out. He looked on dumbfounded, but not for the reasons he should be.
"Is that guy about to get laid?" He wondered aloud. Not bothering to wait for an answer Blader let his mind wander again.
He'd managed to suckle what little liquid he could and not only did it do little to fuzzy his mind, but it tasted terrible. With nothing else to do the strange creature began to unknowingly check out his competition.
What the hell's going on here? He thought, now noticing that the majority of the people there seemed to be looking for a fight. He hadn't managed to connect the dots just yet, but he appeared to be trying. In reality, he wasn't.
"Barkeep, get me like, a brochure or something." The man behind the counter gave him a puzzled look, like he hadn't expected anyone to ask such a thing. With a nod the man wandered off to try and meet the boy's needs.
