Strange, isn't it?
|
NOTE: This topic's purpose is not to to make fun of 17th-18th-century or current British people, but to make fun of Sonic characters when acting like 17-18th-century British people. (Does this belong in Museum of the Arts? Please help me out here, mods.) Basic Info: Sonick is the protector of all that is jolly good in the Kingdom of British Acorne. He constantly fights to keep the citizens safe from the evil Dr. Jacque de Robotnique and his giant French bread-shaped automatons, powered by the pocket watches he mercilessly captured. He and Kilos "Appendages" Prower constantly search for the mysterious Chaos Monocles, allowing him to defeat Robotnique when he attempts to conquer Britain. Sonick's favorite food is chili beans imported from the American colonies. Powers: Sonick can run at an astonishing 1,231 kilometers per hour, making him the fastest thing alive. The only one who can keep up with him is Shadow the Second with his hot-air balloon shoes. He can use a single Chaos Monocle to teleport. The Chaos Monocles can also unlock his super-form, Aristocratic Sonick, and when energized into the Super Monocles, reveal King Sonick III, Sonick's hyper-form. Basic Info: Kilos is Sonick's best friend and sidekick. He and Sonick became friends when Sonick realized that Kilos could move almost as fast as him by spinning his tails. Kilos is an excellent poet, as well as being skilled in trigonometry and ocean navigating to the point where he used to be the navigator for Britain's finest ship, until it got destroyed by Robotnique's ship, Old Protosteel-sides. Powers: Propelled by his tails, Kilos can run or glide at near Sonick's top speed, althogh he tires out quickly. He also has a knack for the skills listed above, and his monocle has a telescopic zoom-in function that he built himself, based on information he gathered from a telescope concept created by Professor George Robotnick 200 years ago. I found the Biographies quite amusing but merely adding a monocle to them doesn't make them British - stick a top hat, a cane, a moustache a penny farthing around them. Be creative man. Or give them cups of tea.

I'm not even slightly British (Scotland doesn't count) and I find this whole thread hilariously offensive. This was just the tip on the iceberg, though. Great job, my socks were lost in my floor-centric laughing. |

I probably shouldn't be laughing at this, but I can't help it. It's well written given the subject material and part of me wants this to be an actual game/series/whatever. xD Not sure what some actual brits will say about it, but as an Australian I approve of this lighthearted take on 17th-18th Century Britian.

Pint of real ale please squire!

I say what spiffingly good reading old bean! Just marvellous. However you have rather forgotten the splendid game of cricket on the lawn followed by cucumber sandwiches, which i'm sure Kilos Prower would like a game of. By the way squire, what are Kilometers? This is 18th century Britain don't you know! Good old miles per hour and yards my friend, none of that Frenchy stuff here, WHAT WHAT! ((ahem... yus, love it! xD made me giggle)) Edited by Ellis, Jan 12 2011, 01:13 PM.

No one asks the milkman for his opinion any other time so why do you think it counts now? Well as you can see two Brits here (Speedy and I) find it rippingly good fun old bean. So I think he should make some more. Give us Knuckles and Amy next! Come on!! Come on! |

So the Scottish get to be Scottish, but the English have to be British? You're a part of the United Kingdom aka Great Britain, matey

^ Personally I view myself as a Scot but overall I am British (when filling in forms and what now I write my ethnicity as British) - all part of the United Kingdom after all. |

I was thinking something like a Leprechaun, played for laughs with his pot 'o' gold. Or haggis. That's sort of like gold, right? |

I hope knuckles wouldn't puntcture his can of Irn Bru though! If he's a Scot then at least make Amy a Welsh girl :o) Can imagine her with a 'Swansea Jack' accent heh! And dressed in a read cloak with a black hat, awesome... Was great seeing the kids dress up for St. Davids day at the primary school nearby, mainly for the fresh Welshcakes they used to sell for charity... yum yum :o) |

Knuckles as a Scot, pretty please with sugar on the top! =D (That Master Haggis idea Eileanach came up with was by the way awesome) I liked these, they gave me a laugh, as a proper parody should. Nice work! |
