Completely unrealistic, but...; Disc based S&K

I think it'd be cool to have a disc version of Sonic & Knuckles for 360 and PS3. Maybe have some extras thrown in? It would be a complete waste of a CD but I just think it'd be cool to have a Blu Ray case with the S&K box art on it and manual.

Well it depends, first off: are we talking a straight port? No updated graphics? or would it be like that 3D Mushroom Hill thing? Because if it's a simple port then I see no reason to buy it for the 3rd time.

yeah.

I'd rather just have my Sega Genesis hooked up and play the original from time to time when I'm feeling old school.

I still can't use this.

I'd only buy it if Sega included extras. Serious, behind-the-scenes extras. Newly-conducted interviews extras. Artbook extras. Bonus level extras. Animated short extras. No way I'd pay sixty bucks for essentially some repackaged box art and a plastic disk.

I'd have to agree. Blu Rays are about 50GB in size, Sonic and Knuckles is about a few MBs at most. So unless SEGA shoved a ton of extras on the disc, it would be a waste of resources.
"we'd lol u in an office". Yes, my dreams don't make sense at all. xD

With the extras, sounds OK, though I wouldn't pay more than twenty bucks.

Hmm, so you are just talking purely Sonic and Knuckles? Eh. I would not invest in that sort of purchase unless it was a remastered version with special features and updated graphics but the same music only orchestrated or something...

I would however invest if it was a PS3 or 360 game PURELY remastered versions of all the original MegaDrive and some bonus games thrown in to fill up space... that's just me though.

I don't think that would be wasteful at all. However though If they did that they would gotta add in a save feature.

I agree with this. There better be some serious extras that come with it for me to pay a chunk of my money for a game I already own (on multiple compilations!).

Thirded.

And include Sonic 3 as well, not just Sonic and Knuckles.

Heck, include Sonic 1 and 2.

Or Mega Collection (Plus).

Hey, the Wii, PS3, and 360 are backwards compatable with GameCube, PS2, and Xbox 1 games respectfully, so I don't think one would have too much trouble playing it, unless you happened to lack all six of those systems.

Mine isn't. |C If it were, I wouldn't be asking for a PS2 for Christmas.

Anyway, yeah, it would be nice if it had some artbooks, bonus levels, or the like. Maybe updated graphics, something that doesn't make it a complete port or something that might as well be a complete port.
