Strange, isn't it?
|
Basic Information: Name: Force Alias: None Age: 14 Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Date of birth: November 29, 14,032 AD Place of birth: Mobotropolis III, present-day Italy, Supersonic Empire Alternate Universe Current residence: Anti-Eggman Squad HQ in outskirts of Robotropolis Occupation: Co-leader of Anti-Eggman Squad, makes money for the squad by working for a computer programming company Alignment: Good Physical Description: Image (If Available): Height: 4' 4" (remember, his DNA is 60 percent human) Weight: 79 lbs Appearance: The image will show you all Attire: Yellow gloves and boots charged with Chaos Energy Personal Information: Personality: Force has become irritable and solitary from living so many years with everyone hating him, but can be more open. Slightly shy most of the time, but confident in battle because of his powers. Hobbies/Talents: Talented computer programmer, chef, and climber. Likes: Cheeseburgers, swimming, battle mechas (for some reason) Dislikes: Large insects Items: Piece of the Chaos Emerald of Physics which gives him his powers Vehicles: None, but likes to steal battle mechas from Eggman Trivia: Force has a fear of large insects, as stated above. Relationships: Family: None Close Friends: Hax, Reverse, Shadon Other Friends: Circuit (is annoyed by him to a degree,) Blast Romantic Interest: None Rivals: Alpha the Hedgehog (respects him somewhat) Enemies: Seelkadoom the Fusion and his lackies, Dr. Eggman Battle Information: Skills: When Force absorbed the piece of the Chaos Emerald of Physics, it turned him into a living kinetic converter, of sorts: he can control the five fundamental forces of the universe, but cannot create an excess of them; he needs to draw on the potential energy of the objects around him in order to control the fundamnetal forces corresponding to the type of potential energy he absorbed. So even Force has to obey the law of conservation of energy. He controls gravity when he has a lot of gravitational potential energy; in other words, when he is high up, such as on the top of a mountain or tall building. Electromagnetism comes in when Force is standing outside at nighttime and can use up the electromagnetic waves that aren't being used to light the place in order to fuel his own powers. Force can use the Strong Nuclear force when he comes in contact with a large amount of ions, and the Weak Nuclear force when he is near a nuclear or chemical reaction taking place. As for the fifth, the cosmological constant, he can only control that when--you guessed it--in space. Techniques: Likes to charge his body with electromagnetic energy and then run past a robotic enemy, hitting them with his charged arm in the process and causing them to short-circuit before the robot can react. Strengths: His powers, IQ of 140 Weaknesses: Easy to sneak up on, can get cocky when defeating many enemies very fast, making him easy to trick because he doesn't stop to think Weapons: Only the aforementioned Chaos Emerald fragment Ability Type: Power History: Force was born to his dimension's Amy and his dimension's Shadon (you'll read about him later). He grew up living a normal life, until he was 10 when he saw a strange glow coming from a mountain near his home as he was walking home from school. He went to investigate instead of going straight home like he was supposed to. In a cave on the mountainside, he found that a piece of a Chaos Emerald had been chipped off. He picked it up, deciding to take it back home, but the piece absorbed itself into him, giving him the ability to command the five fundamental forces (gravity, electromagnetism, the two nuclear forces, and the cosmological constant) of his dimension, but only one at a time, and in limited amounts. When he figured out how to use these abilities, most of the people he knew were horrified, and his parents decided that these powers in the hands of a child were too dangerous and, weeping, had to send him away. Force lived on the run for four years, trying to find people who hadn't heard the story of the super-hedgehog who couldn't power down, getting what food and water he could, and using a sleeping bag as his only shelter on stormy nights. When he had just turned fourteen, he found another Chos Emerald lying around, the Chaos Emerald of Position. He accidentally fired a bolt of Physics-type Chaos Control at it, causing it to open up into a dimensional portal that sent him the the core dimension. The Chaos Emerald of Position was later found and kept safe by his dimension's Knuckles. Force found himself on the other side of the portal, sitting somewhere in the Greenhill Zone. He was extremely confused, since the Greenhill Zone of his dimension had been converted into the city of Mobotropolis III twelve years ago. He wandered around a bit, trying to familiarize himself with the alternate Greenhill Zone, until he saw a young fox battling a squadron of SWATbots. The fox was using a complex distract-irritate-dodge strategy that even Force couldn't quite figure out. He later asked the fox who he was, and he learned that the fox's name was Blast and that he was a member of a group of anthropomorphs who fought against Eggman. Force was even more confused by this, as as far as he knew, Eggman was dead. He explained his problem to Blast, who easily figured out that he must have arrived from an alternate universe, and then asked him how it happened. Force explained how the Chaos Emeralds of Physics and Position had caused a dimensional warp, and Blast replied that they couldn't recreate that setup in his dimension because the Chaos Emeralds of Blast's dimension had no unique powers, so it was impossible to locate an alternate Chaos Emerald of Position. Force decided that he wanted to join the anti-Eggman fight, to make Blast's dimension as good as his own, and he put off finding a way back since there was nothing left in his own world for him. Blast took him ot the group's HQ, and was slightly embarassed to tell Force that the "group" was only made up of two people at the present time, himself and an Echidna named Reverse. After some brief training, which he easily finished because of his powers, he was accepted into the group. Force, Blast, and Reverse had a lot in common, it turned out; each of them had lost something important to them, and they needed to get it back, but defeat Eggman as well. Force had lost his social status, Blast his Chaos Emerald, which Eggman stole in order to increase his weapons in power, and Reverse had lost his brother Hax, who had been captured by Eggman and was never seen again. The group decided to seek out Hax first, even if it meant sneaking into Dr. Eggman's secret base, freeing Hax, and getting out again, because Hax was an excellent computer hacker and they could use his skills to warn people if Eggman was building a new ultimate weapon. They searched and searched, defeating SWATbots all along the way and joining forces with an Eggman-created rebellious android named Circuit, and finally finding him living in a small apartment in Casino City, where he was quite unhappy. A quick test of knowledge revealed him to truly be Hax, but stuck in the body of a strange red hedgehog! At first, Reverse didn't know what to think, but Hax explained what had happened: when he was captured by Eggman, he soon learned that he was to be experimented on, along with a red hedgehog whose body he would someday be forced to occupy, in order to see if an operation could be used to change a being's alliance from good to evil. It did not work on either him or the hedgehog, however, but caused his mind to be swapped into his current body, while the hedgehog's mind was destroyed in the process. he managed to escape from Eggman's base, but he was unrecognized by everyone ke knew, and wound up in Casino City, where he quickly lost the few savings his new body had and had to live in a run-down old apartment and buy food at near-bankrupt convinience stored who would give him a discount if he spread the word about how (not) great their store was. Reverse nodded his head in understanding, and the while the two caught up on a lot of other things , Force and Blast used Hax's computer to locate Force's parents in this dimension, but found that time ran slower here than in Force's home dimension, and his parents were still both teenagers. Shadon was also living in Casino City, and Force and Blast set out to find him. Shadon, it turned out, was living very close to Hax, but he had to run his body off of his natural products alone (that essentially means eating his food, vomiting it up, covering it in crushed supplement pills, and then eating it again) because he was too nervous to go out into the open, and people thought he was too freakish to go outside. In this dimension, it turned ut, Shadon was crwated as an experiment by Eggman to create a super-being made out of Sonic and Shadow's DNA, but the result was a strange-looking nervous little thing that looked a little bit like Shadow and a little bit like Sonic. Even worse, he kept having lapses in which he would be able to see what was happening to Sonic and Shadow, but not what was happening to himself. He decided that he would join the squad in order to escape the miserable life he had before. Despite being rather nervous most of the time, he passed the training fairly easily because he was still nearly as fast as Sonic and nearly as strong as Shadow. And so the Anti-Eggman Squad V2.0, the gang of misfits, led by Blast and co-led by Force, was born. Force also has an article on the Sonic Fanon Wiki. Go there to see what he really looks like, the Furry Dollmaker is just too limited to show him properly. Edited by 742 mph, Dec 26 2010, 08:53 AM.

Hmm...a very interesting character, I see you've put a lot of thought into his backstory, and I applaud you for that, there are a few things that strike me though:
WHoooooooooa there, just "Hedgehog" will suffice. Its a given that all sonic universe animals are anthropomorphic, or Mobian.
I know it's an alternate universe, but just know that most sonic story lines take place around 22XX, or 24XX in Silver's case. Just something to keep in mind, I'm not saying your wrong.
You can make a sonic character look original without clothes, but if you chose that path please draw him yourself, the furry dollmaker just does not have enough options. if you can't draw him then try to give him some clothes, just something so he wont be labeled as a re-color.
Likes/Dislikes do not include people, just things, those fall under friends/rivals/enemies.
Two things here; one, the things in bold don't belong in the skills category, they belong in personality and appearance respectively. The things that are underlined are a big problem. Most RPs don't even allow super forms, but those that do will most likely always require all seven chaos emeralds to turn super. A super form is a end-all0awnser to the final battle. It is only to be used under the most drastic circumstances as it sucks the life out of the user as they fight. Its abilities make the user invincible. Nothing at all can hurt them, and they can wreak havoc at the slightest tough. therefore, you should have completed the humongous task to fins all seven before you try to go super. And even in super form, there are still certain weaknesses, and the user is not all-powerful. I'm sure you know this, but at no point in time should you character be able to implode the universe or be considered a god. That is god-modding, quite literally. It's okay to have a super form, but make sure you tone it down to a realistic level. You may also consider adding a bit more content to your strengths/weaknesses section, personality section, and techniques. Your backstory is great, and I think it has enough attention. Also, something that I find most bio layouts leave out, but which canon is this character aligned in? SegaSonic(the games), Archie(the comics), Sonic X(the Tv show), or heck maybe even AoSth or SatAm(the other tv shows). One last thing, please know that I am not flaming you, just suggesting this to better your character upon. Its a great character, but you can always make it better. |

While I haven't read through eh entire bio yet, I really wanna talk about this real quick. (and forgive me if I sound a little harsh, not make much sense, or make numerous typos. I'm starting to feel sick, so I'm kind of tired right now. xP Another thing, which would actually be a good thing--his intelligence. In another topic you stated that Force was able to out-think Tails, who's IQ is probably right up there with ol' Eggy. however, it says that Force's IQ is 140. While this is still above average, it's not quite "genius." I have an IQ of 149, and while I am a bit of a computer wiz, I'm not exactly someone who could handle learning how to make robots completely from scratch. (but maybe that's because I haven't tried. xP ) But again, this is a good thing, so no need to fix it. And just one more thing--I myself don't exactly approve of him having a chaos Emerald in his possession, even if it is just a fragment. Chaos Emeralds are a bit overpowered for fan characters to safely have anything to do with them. but this is just what I've learned from another forum I used to go on. Any other problems were already stated by Zak. Overall, Force seems grossly overpowered as a character, but he has potential, and I think with a little more time you can make it a well-balanced character that would be a tonnafun to RP with. Just keep trying. ^^ Edited by Tammy, Dec 21 2010, 07:07 PM.

Like the other guys have said Force sounds like if given a bit more tweaking and effort he'll be a pretty awesome character so I wish you all the best with any adjustments or future releases you make about him. |
