Christmas is back again

Even if this ain't something out of the extraordinary. I must admit, that the news about a game developer, not giving up on the old Dreamcast, is a must to be shared.
Link to the actual information.

Redspotgames. These are the ones behind, this rather unsuspecting news.
I wonder what they will gain from this. Sure there are a few who have kept their consoles. But to actually be able to get a new game, after 11 year of absence.

Discuss.

I know Japan's been developing Dreamcast games long after the console became defunct, so this doesn't seem all that surprising.
Well it hasn't been announced, or brought out to the local newspaper until now.
What makes Japan keeping it so secretively then. Or I may just be looking in the wrong direction. I guess it's a surprise for some of us, Bliz. ;)

Nah! They ain't Japanese.
Basically one of the few European traces of a once lost console. As I never suspected much different from Japan. I mean, it was they who created it, in the first place.
Not sure how much you'll receive out from the video. But here's at least the main-site to Redspotgames, and their game that should be released sometime next year during Q2.

Sturmwind. That's the link to Redspotgames if you was wondering. :D

That's already the game I mentioned.
We'll have yet to see another Dreamcast project being made.

I really would like to think this is Redspotgames testing the water to suggest the idea of making a DreamCast 2. This is what I'd like to see because it would be awesome having a new next-gen console to give Sony and Microsoft a run for their money... (Not including nintendo as it copped out for the casual gamers).

He he! Even if the thought is good. I must be a pessimist here. Don't know if they can afford this. You never know the chances of success or failure. And even some news says that Consoles will in 10 years seize to exist. We'll just have to wait and see.

And yeah the graphics looked pretty good. An old fashioned Lightning Force, been made in the 2010th century.
