Alex turned quickly as someone shouted at him. The first thing he saw was what looked like at ball of slush flying at him. Alex followed his first instinct. He raised his hand and superheated his palm. He slapped the iceball out of the air. He felt a slight chill in his hand, but immediately counteracted it with more heat. It was then that Alex noticed the fox who threw the attack. It was the one he'd seen on the TV before entering the arena. "Surprise attack, eh?" called Alex, "I like to know the name's of my opponents. The name's Alexander Grimm. Call me Alex" As he finished his speech, Alex created a fireball in his right hand and pitched it the fox. |

Ah, so he's a bearer of fire, I see, he smiled as he thought to himself, this should be interesting. "So, you wanna know my name?" he said at the incoming fireball. Knight's hand became covered in ice, and he made a quick swipe of his hand in a horizontal motion in front of him. The fireball melted the small temporary barrier of ice, he let it sink into the sand. "Knight. Knight the Fox." |

(I can join, right? |D ) Name: Sankai the Hedgehog Age: 15 Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Appearance: A red hedgehog wearing a black hoodie. He has five quills, four large ones in the back of his head, and one on the right side of his face. He also has markings on the palms of his hands called Fire Eyes which let him manipulate fire. This was created before I turned 15, and Sankai, who is kind of my avatar FC, ages with me) Abilities: He has the power to manipulate fire, its power depends on how much energy he focuses into his body. Silverblade continued to watch the man who he had just figured out was named Alex. He was in the beginning of a battle with Knight, and Silverblade realized that this was the perfect time to analyze them. He noticed that Knight had ice powers of some sort, while Alex had fire. Hmm... If I use them against each other, I can gain an advantage against both of them... |

Madeline's ears jerked in the direction of the commotion, and her head followed. So the fight is starting.. Something caught her eye, something behind a rock. It took her a few seconds for her eyes to focus on it- a hedgehog. Silverblade, to be exact. The grin returned to her lips as her hand snaked for the small knife in her pocket, the only real weapon she had on her. She began creeping towards him, keeping her ears flared wide and pivoting to keep watch around her while her eyes were focused on the hedgehog at the moment. Once she figured she was as close as she could get without being detected, she gripped the knife tightly and lunged at Silverblade, hoping to knock him down with a good body-slam. Silverblade sensed something to his side and turned just in time to see the bat lunging at him with a knife. He tried to dodge but she managed to slam him hard, causing him to fall to the ground. As soon as possible, he rolled back and jumped up. "Ouch..." He groaned, noticing the knife in her hand "I see you have a weapon, and I don't, so this should be pretty interesting." He chuckled a little, and got into a fighting position. |

She ties her hair in a pony-tail when in her armor and in battle at all times, her eye color is Blue and her hair color is Brown. Abilities: Masterful CQC Combatant, Enhanced Speed (Outside of Armor), and has a low-grade ability of healing. Name: Auditor Age: ??? Gender: Male? Species: Shadowling Appearance: Standing at 8'11 naturally, as a Shadowling. He possesses completely black skin and resembles a two-dimensional shadow, he bares a rare trait among Shadowlings with red eyes and like all Shadowlings, emits flame when extremely angry. And another very rare trait is that his flame matches his body's color perfectly as it appears black. Abilities: Shapeshifting (Can morph himself into a two-dimensional plain temporary, it can also appear as a black silhouette of anyone.), Masterful CQC Combatant, Enhanced Strength, and Biological Immortality (different from Immortality, read the article in the link) Name: Zaneta Age: ??? Gender: Female? Species: Shadowling Appearance: Standing at 5'11, she possesses a sihoulette-like black body similar to her brother. She bares green eyes instead of the red her brother has. And like all Shadowlings, when shes angry. She emits flame, but unlike her brothers which is black. Her flame color is green. Abilities: Shapeshifting (Can morph herself into a two-dimensional plain temporary, it can also appear as a black silhouette of anyone.), Sword Mastery, and Biological Immortality Name: Cain Age: 42? (Or so he claims) Gender: Male Species: Human? Appearance: Cain's height is 6'11, he resembles an ordinary man in a business suit and a tie, he always wears a pair of shades on his face. He has a moderately shaved but visible boxed beard (link) his hair color is black and his eye color is red. Abilities: Masterful CQC Combatant, Advanced Techniques in Firearms Mastery, (possible) Biological Immortality A bit of characters, a bit of story. Because I am a bit of a story person myself. |

(Thanks. :3 ) Sankai was standing outside the entrance to the arena, looking out at the wide battlefield before him. "Man, this place his awesome," he said with a smile on his face. "Now... wonder if anyone's out here who's willing to fight..?" Sankai held out his right hand to the side of himself, built up a small fireball, and tossed it up into the air. "Here... I... GO!!" he yelled as he jumped up and slammed the fireball with his hand, sending it rocketing away from him, the ball growing as it gained speed, eventually hitting the ground in a random location far out in front of him, creating a large cloud of dust. "Did I hit anyone?" the red hedgehog asked himself and he ran toward the area where his attack landed. |

For what she lacked in good vision, she made up with in good hearing. Her huge ears pivoted inward toward Silverblade. This way, she could hear everything focused around him as they fought- his heart rate, his breathing, the slide of his feet against the grass. "Y'know what? I'll give you a freebie. Go ahead, your turn." |

Knight readjusted into a defensive battle stance, waiting for Alex's next move, if he had one. Otherwise he'd have to make one himself. He created two more frozen slushballs in his hands making no attempt to hide them, planning to use them as melee weapons when the need would arise. However a sudden blow from a random place had left him disoriented for a second; the loud noise made him lose focus of his current objective of defense. The slushballs fell to the ground, and made two ice spots, each of them five feet wide. This caused Knight to slip and fall on his back, uttering a swear. |

Sankai, who had arrived at the scene just as Knight had fallen, couldn't help uttering a laugh at what he had just seen. "Ha ha! Oh crap, was that me? Sorry buddy, didn't mean to make ya slip and fall! Still, that was pretty damn funny, ya gotta admit!" Suddenly, Sankai remembered where he was and stopped laughing. "Uh, right! So, I bet you're pretty angry, huh? As to be expected, tho'. So... You gonna fight me, or are ya already preoccupied with the guy over there?" Sankai said as he nudged his head at Alex. |

((EDIT: Never mind I took too long. :/ EDIT 2:)) Alex stared down Knight. It seemed like the fox was waiting for him to make the first move. Alex was more than happy to oblige. Alex watched as Knight created two slushballs and then drop them at a far off explosion. Alex decided to take this opportunity to attack. Without any warning Alex charged towards Knight. When he got withing range, Alex covered his foot in flames and aimed a powerful kick for the fox's face. "Bring it, fox!" Edited by Crooked Axle, Nov 27 2010, 11:03 PM.

Silverblade nodded and examined his opponent, and noticed her ears twitching. She's probably gonna be able to react swiftly to my next move, so I'll just have to be faster. He lunged forward , stepped off to the side a bit and aimed a swift kick towards her gut. |
