My best guess is that you don't remember the Sandbox a long time ago that had like four versions which were all revivals/continuations of the same idea: a sandbox battle arena to where anyone from anywhere could come to the arena and fight each other without restriction. In some cases, it was just exercise for the fighter. In other cases, it was a story builder. The Arena The arena is a dome with the radius of a football field. The land includes an array of sand littered with boulders, patches of dirt and mud, and random pitfalls. The Lounge Outside the arena is a lounge where fighters can rest after battle to heal up. There are three sofas on four of the walls, a television receiving input from the cameras in the battlefield, and a cabinet to receive healing supplies, as well as a drinking water fountain. RULES: (Your posts will be ignored if these are broken.) 1) No god modding. 2) Any powerful attacks must take reasonable times to recharge. This includes super forms, "shoop-da-whoops", and teleportation. 3) No controlling other characters. This includes naming their actions, and declaring hits. 4) No sandbox fights in the lounge. Small fights are permitted but please don't let them escalate too much. Instead of me giving approval to join, I'll only give disapproval, so if nobody says anything negative about your biography, you can join. Anything positive is good.  A Huge Tip For Fast Posting (Lol, huge.) 1) Select your entire post, and copy it. (Ctrl + C, or Right Click > Copy.) 2) Click on the link above the posting window that should lead you to the topic you're posting in, and if anything happened while you were posting... 3) Press back as many times as you need to go to back to the posting screen. 4) Ctrl+V, or Right Click > Paste, and make the necessary edits to your post so alternate realities aren't created! The edits should be done in the amount of time that you wouldn't need to check again, but if you think you need to, repeat the previous steps. If nobody posted while you were posting, then no edits need to be made. (Unless it's just general editorial edits.) OOC Topic + Signups (Bigger in case you miss it. :3) Name: Knight Age: 21 Gender: Male Species: Fox Appearance: Knight's fur is a silver to gray color with a white stomach color. His eyes are light blue, he wears white gloves, and his shoes are the colors of his body. His usual attire is a red sleeveless shirt with yellow buttons, and pants with a red*4-yellow*2-white*1 color scheme, the numbers representing the width of the stripes for each color relative to each other. Can I join?  I was in that last RP, remember me?Name: Mordecai Age: 25 Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Appearance: A jet-black hedgehog, with unkempt and splayed quills. Usually has a great deal of bruises in various stages of healing. Abilities: No real special(as in elemental-type) abilities. Considered a 'normal' mobian. Name: Madeline Age: 20 Gender: Female Species: Fruit Bat( Australian Flying Fox ) Appearance: Image ( Note that, despite the image, Madeline is a mobian. (Awesome, you're in. I'll go ahead and start.) Knight thought it was a good day to get some exercise. He had heard about a big fighting stadium he could train himself in. He liked the fact that there was little restriction, and the general environment of the arena. He wanted to make sure he was at full strength. Knight held his fist up to his chest, his body was surrounded in a bright blue aura, small blue spheres emitted from the light. He put his fist back to his side, the aura disappeared, and the blue spheres turned into small balls of ice that would later melt into the grass below him. |

He is of an athletic build, with some muscle mass, but not a lot. Alex has short brown hair that's spiked off in all directions. He has brilliant green eyes. Alex wears a black pinstriped suit with a red dress shirt and a black tie. Abilities: Alex is a skilled pyrokinetic and has some basic military combat training. |

Name: Silverblade Age: 19 Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Appearance: Silverblade has light grey fur with white chest hair (like Shadow's) and has dark blue eyes. He wears dark blue jeans and a dark green T-shirt. Abilities: Silverblade has no special abilities to speak of, but is highly trained in hand-to hand combat. He prefers to rush during fights. The sound of quiet padding came from behind Knight as someone approached him. "I suppose, you're a challenger?" a female voice murmured, her tone almost sweet sounding. However, the expression smacked onto the face of the bat mobian contrasted dramatically with that kind inflection. Piercing yellow eyes narrowed, nose wrinkled, and lips stretched into a wide, almost sinister grin. "Did you see how badly you fought, last time around, when the cops crashed the hideout? You need to get your act together, Madeline, or it's curtains. The gang can't risk having any weak links. I'd think you would have been well aware of that." She shook her head as the memory crept into her mind. Her boss, whom was settling into the lounge, had dragged her down to this god-forsaken little 'training arena', hoping that a few good ass-whoopings would put a little fight into her. Quickly wiping her mind free of the days events so far, she turned her attention back to the fox in front of her. (@SilverB Accepted. Aw, no more 1337 posts. I'll have to delete one of my old posts. XD) As he continued towards the Arena's entrance, a comment made by a nearby speaker had stopped him. He smiled. "Seeing as I'm not going to fight thin air, you could say that." His voice had a deep, sinister tone in it. Knight turned to the bat. "Best of luck to you, see you in the arena." (@Kingdaro: Deleting posts doesn't affect your post count :P) Silverblade watched from the couch as the Fox entered the arena. He turned away and though to himself, trying to think of a strategy he'd be able to use. He seems pretty powerful, but can't make it out yet... What was his name again? Trent or something... No, Knight. His thoughts wandered on awhile longer before turning his attention to the bat who had recently conversed with Knight. He had decided that he would observe his opponents awhile longer before making a move, so he sat there and waited to see what the bat would do next. Alex had heard about the large arena, but never had time to visit. As he approached the front gate, Alex could feel his anticipation building. Alex loved a good fight and he was excited to meet some like minded people. He had no idea what waited for him inside. "Well," Alex thought to himself, "I won't find out by just standing here." Alex stepped through the entrance and found himself standing in the centre of some sort of lounge. He glanced around the large room taking in the sights. A TV showing the battlefield caught his attention. Alex walked towards it and watched as a fox entered the arena. "So there are already fighters out there, eh? Good." Alex left the lounge and headed towards the Arena. He took a deep breath of fresh air and glanced around the arena. He felt his excitement building as he looked around. He decided to scope out the competition before he started any fights. Alex sat down on a rock and continued looking around. |

"Yes, may the better woman win." she mumbled under her breath. Feeling she had done something daring by making her little joke, she strode into the arena a few seconds after Knight had, and took her place towards the center of the arena with a false sense of self-confidence. The hedgehog seated in the lounge eyed Silverblade curiously, and took a long drag from a cigarette placed snuggly between two fingers. He quickly lost interest in watching him, however, when he realized he was focused soley on the screen. "You gonna fight today?" he wheezed, choking on smoke as he exhaled. (Aww, no more 1337. :/) As the bat entered the arena, Knight looked at her for a brief second before focusing his gaze toward the second newcomer to the arena. Knight stood up, grinning. He materialized a freezing ball of "slush" behind his back, walking in the general direction of Alex. The ball would freeze whatever it touched. "Hey," He started. "Think fast." Knight quickly released the ball in Alex's direction. |

Silverblade watched as the bat entered the arena and began to get up when he noticed a rather large human walk through the door. When he went inside, Silverblade decided he would watch the monitors for awhile longer before entering himself. He was just about to stand up when he heard a voice from behind him. He turned around and saw a Black hedgehog standing behind him. When he spoke, the hedgehog coughed out smoke; causing Silverblade to grimace. "Ugh, yeah." He replied "How about you?" |

"Maybe. I came here to...observe." he said, dragging that last word, as if he was trying to decide if it was an appropriate choice as he said it. "I guess you're just waiting, huh? Studying the competition? It's a smart idea." He raised the cigarette back to his lips, and muttered softly, "Too bad Madeline's not smart enough to. Just lookit 'er. Gawking around like a pigeon." Silverblade nodded. "Yeah, I prefer to know a bit about my opponents before a fight." He felt strange having the odd character behind him, so he swiftly got up. "I think I'm going to head in now, I guess I might see you after." He said as he walked towards the entrance. He entered the arena and looked around for a good spot to hide; he wanted to wait a bit longer before engaging in a fight. He found a good, large rock and hid behind it. He positioned himself and watched the human he had noticed earlier. |
