(Written in Alexis the Hedgehog's P.O.V.) I woke up, today to me was like any other day. You got up, saw family, and ate. What kind of holiday was that??? I sighed and kicked off the sheets then went to take a shower and got ready for the day. Everyone else was really into holidays, except Darkshade. He just kinda stood to the side. I looked in the bathroom mirror and stared at the hedgehog there: She was 15, 5'5", had red eyes that would light up if she got angry, she had red and black quills that went down to her waist and has some red quills going over her left eye. She wore a black tanktop with two studbelts crossing in an X on her waist, black pants, black and red shoes with red laces, and a cross necklace. She carried a Desert Eagle on her hip, and a duffel bag filled with weapons, overnight supplies, and medical supplies. I smirked at the hedgehog, razor sharp teeth showed behind the mirror hedgehogs lips. I got a call, Aria had made me a cell phone so I kept it, she had made it black and red (sweet little hedgehog). I picked it up, "Hello?" "Hey! It's Aria!! Weren't you going to go with Blizzard and Ray to get the turkey??" A small voice asked on the end of the line. "Yeah, Air, why?" I asked. Someone suddenly slapped two hands down on my shoulders. I yelped out and jumped, turning around and pinning the echidna to the ground and growling fiercly. I relaxed when I saw it was Ray. "That's why" Aria laughed, she then hung up. I sighed. an 18 year old echidna stood up and dusted himself off, grinning. He had brown quills and dark brown eyes. He wore a black tanktop, black leather belt, dark blue jeans with small rips in then from the knees down, and black shoes. He carried brass knuckles that were tied to his right belt loop. A 16 year old hedgehog stood next too him, the hedgehogs quils were iceblue and white. he had ice blue eyes. He wore a white tee-shirt with an ice-cube print lon it, grey pants with a grey belt, and white shoes. "Hey Ray" I greeted the echidna, "Hey Blizzard." They nodded grinning. "What's been up lately??" They asked. "Nothing, so lets go." I said. We went too the store and got the turkey then went to Darkshade and Aria's house. The little white and blue hedgehog, Aria, skipped out laughing. "HAI! Happy Thanksgiving." she gushed. She was into EVERY holiday....almost. Every christian one at least, but she was really into them. She took the turkey and ran inside and started working on it. She had white and blue quills, with a blue and white pants. She had blue and white shoes with blue laces. She was made completely out of light, because she WAS light. Just like Ying and Yang kept the balance of light and darknessm Darkshade and Aria kept the balance of the world. They had been alive for thousands of years but their bodies never ever aged. They had been their present age their whole lives. Her powers however, made her forget any bad things that she see's, thus giving her the innocence she has. Ray, Blizzard and I followed her inside. Everyone else: Shock, Erina, Briana, Jake and RJ, Fang etc. All Celebrated thanksgiving elsewhere. So it was always jsut Darkshade, Aria, Ray, Blizzard and I. When we walked inside we saw a tall black and red echidna awkwardly setting up the table. He wore a black tank top, black trench coat, black jeans, a skull belt, a cross necklace, and black-spiked boots. He had glowing red eyes all the time, because no matter what he was angry all the time. He was darkness, you messed with him and he'd snap your bones before you knew it. But that didn't bother any of us, because he had grown tolerant of us. I loved to mess with him, I smirked mischeviously and got hyper. "HAI!" I yelled, tackling him. "Why you little- COME HERE!" He yelled. I ran away and behind Ray screaming. Ray chuckled and held up a hand to Darkshade, "I'll take care of it." He said. He turned around and tickled me, I laughed and tried to get away but Blizzard held me there. Aria laughed and grinned, then put the turkey into the oven. 'Did you guys get everything else?" She asked. We were silent. -woops- i thought. We all hopped in the car and made an emergency trip to the store, when we came back I helped Aria make dinner while Darkshade, Ray and Blizzard had wrestling matches. The ONLY reason Darkshade was doing it was because Aria had asked him too. He loved his sister to death and would do ANYTHING for her, including make a total fool out of himself. "OK OK I GIVE!! OW!" Blizzard was yelling. Darkshade had him twisted up in a pretzel. His lips twitched in what might have been a smile and he let go of Blizzard. Ray jumped on Darkshade's back, Blizzard joined in. They all flipped over and over, knocking lamps and such over making Aria dn I scramble to pick everything up out of the way. Darkshade STILL won, he had each of them pinned, Blizzard was smushed between his legs and Ray and him were still wrestline, Rays wrists pinned to the ground and his feet around Darkshade's neck. For Ray and Darkshade it was usually a tie like this. I laughed and jumped on Darkshade's back, causing him to yell out and lose his grip. I got into the mess and blizzard and I always ended up struggling the most, but we made a great team. "Alright, alright settle down! Why do we have to break somehtine EVERY holiday?" Aria asked laughing after an hour or two, a lamp lay in pieces. We all seemed exhausted, except for Darkshade. "Ok! Pictures!!!" Aria said excitedly, everyone groaned. We got together infront of the table and took a picture, Ray had Blizzard in a headlock. Aria was on Darkshade's back with her hands on his head, he was trying to peek out from under her fingers because she had fallen at the flash and was grinning at the camera about to fall. I was in the middle of Darkshade and Ray, they BOTH had me in a headlock. This was the typical picture for every holiday. We all gathered around the table, listened to Aria's usual talking about how it all began, said grace, and ate. All of us look at the camera filming this short story and wave, even darkshade. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Seeya at Christmas!! camera light fades out, the sounds of laughter and a crash linger then grow faint
