In the Gamestudio A8, I was just looking at the example files for SED, and when i attempt to test i get the following error "directX driver failure:D3DERR_INVALIDCALL" then i tried to update directX but I get the same error I already restart the computer What can I do? I don't even know what gamestudio is, but it's a problem with your source code. You could have done something like named a variable something the DirectX system uses, I don't know. I believe 'call' refers to something like using a function. Ex. Typing "Ad(2,3)" instead of "Add(2,3)" Look for spelling errors. |

gamestudio is a program to create games using c language. 1- I try to use a downloaded script from a pro and it didnīt work 2- then i use the WED- the world creator(a program to create levels(no scripts) and it happens the same thing then i test it 3- I tested in my laptop and in my computer and it didnīt work. i done everything the tutorial says to do but the error appears again |

yes, the tutorial is to create a house and after running it should appear the house but it appears the error i don't know what to do. |

yes, i post in the forum and they don't know what to do, and I'me trying to contact the game developers EDIT: the developers responded and it says to use a earlier version. it isn't the best but work Edited by Pedruben, Nov 22 2010, 01:45 PM.
