The only voice I think I can do on a *maybe* basis is Meta-Knight.

I've got a few voices I can sorta do, but since I'm not one of the VA's for this project (curse you, house!) that hardly matters. ^^;

But just pick a character you think you may be good at and throw around a few lines. Doesn't have to be perfect or anything, just muck about with it until it's close enough. :P

For the record, the voices I could kinda do were Doctor Claw, Snake and The Sniper. I used to be able to do a half decent Vegeta once upon a time, too. xP

The idea of improv sounds rather good. That'll probably where this ends up going anyways. ^_^

HOWEVER.

At this point in time, I'm wondering if something like this is perhaps too ambitious if we're all just starting out. Yes, it's a fantastic idea, and yes, I'd love to come back to it, but after giving it some thought I get the feeling that we should start off simpler.

Thoughts?

I agree, I doubt we would be very productive if we just started out with an improv.
Later on, of course, it would definitely be a good idea.

I seem to be all out of fucks
I think we could pull it off if we could all think of characters that we could voice.
I can do a few accents, but in all honesty I've never really tried to mimic the voice of a character before this project.

I object to your claims
Maybe you could start dubbing something in the vein of an abridged series and work your way from there?

If you need a Sonic voice, I wouldn't mind trying out.

I never really noticed this but you seem to have attracted a lot of attention. I hope you do a Sonic fan-dub and I think some of the guys who have put themselves forward would be able to offer a lot of range and fun to the mix.

Keep us posted on your plans and what not.

Actually, I was kinda hoping more of our volunteers would offer their opinions on my last post, buuut... *shrug*

Anyways, an abridged Sonic series would be quite fun... Not sure what has and hasn't been done, but it's not like that matters anyways since ours would be better than anything ever (optimism, yay!).

A sonic fandub seems fine, like you said, I don't think it matters if it's been done before.

As for your last posts, yes, improv might be a bit further on. babysteps, ya?

TIME TO REALLY EXPLODE!
I disagree with doing a Sonic fandub, personally. It's way too limiting. I'm certain we all have the creativity and imagination to put on something awesome.

Improv isn't as hard as you would think, as long as you have a general gist of what you're going to do. Take the MoDCast, for an example. MoD and I simply discuss the topics we are going over prior to recording and when we record we just wing it.

We don't have to do a straight improv, is what I'm suggesting, essentially. We can simply have a basic guideline, then subsequently wing it.

Trying to go with a theme this time
Either way, I'll help put in a voice clip or two. Trust me, I'm a good voice actor. Also, if help is needed i would gladly assist.

Okay D-Metal why do you think the Sonic Fan-dub is limiting? I mean I am sure the people over at Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged thought that Yu-Gi-Oh would be really limiting to start with. I think with all the different Sonic cartoons out there and everyone putting their heads together there could be some crazy creativity going on there.
