Zora isn't completely locked to one style either, but finds it unnecessary to answer to after he has faded into another subject.
"I like mythology too, even though I don't believe in them I find them interesting. What certain myth are you referring to?" she asks while looking through the CDs.

"It's actually a pretty obscure one. Not a lot of people know about it. A great many other worlds, nine gods maintaining creation, weird things like that," Taylor said. "Most people who've heard about it think it's a hoax, since nobody's discovered any proof that anyone ever believed in it." He shrugged. "I'm fairly sure that there's something to it."
Indeed, there is nothing more repulsive than these monsters that defy nature and are known by the name of witcher, as they are the offspring of foul sorcery and witchcraft. They are unscrupulous scoundrels without conscience and virtue, veritable creatures from hell capable only of taking lives. They have no place amongst decent and honest folk.

She thinks for a while.
"I'm pretty sure I'm not familiar with that story, mind sharing what you know?" she asks.

Sandopolis Act 2
"Well," Taylor said, "I'm not about to explain multiverse theory, other than that it proposes that ours isn't the only universe in existence." He took out a little notepad and pen, continuing, "As for the deities involved..."
He drew a line from the middle out towards the upper-right end of the page. "We got a 'good' god,"
He drew another line from where he started the first one, but to the left. "And an 'evil' god."
He moved down some and repeated the two lines. "A god of 'order', and one of 'chaos'..."
Further down, another repetition. "One of the preplanned future, and one of freak coincidences...
And a fourth chevron nearer the bottom. "One of powers we don't understand, and one of those we do."
Then he drew a vertical line connecting all four sets of lines. "And finally, a god of the constant forces that supposedly apply to all the worlds. Those nine, are called the 'Origins'. Sort of a... meta creation myth, if I remember correctly. After everything was created, seven of them went into hiding while the last two, the good one and the evil one, keep duking it out across existence."

"So is that how this myth would explain away the evil and good in the world?" she asks him, listening intensly.

"Something like that. It definitely seems to give a reason behind why the moral conflict is the most influential and least reconcilable; those two were the last to fall silent. Some accounts say that these two, Paragon and Exodos, were fragmented by one of the other seven before their fighting would start breaking creation apart," Taylor said, with a knowing look. "Interesting legend, even if it is just fake. Conflicting forces stimulating change and all that."

"Truly interesting, I don't believe very much in a firm line between good and evil, though" she answers, her knuckles planted to her chin in a contemplating pose.

"Paragon and Exodos are the extreme ends of the scale, the 'purest' embodiments of good and evil respectively. Everyone falls somewhere in between and can shift without warning," Taylor said. "But that's just arguing semantics. Why do I always find myself arguing semantics?"

"Maybe it's just something you have a knack for" she suggests with a smile and a shrug.

Taylor shrugged. "I never thought of myself as much of a debater. It's not that I think I'm right, I just think it's not important to know who's right or wrong," he said. "Huh. I think this one's what I'm after," he said, pulling a jewel case from the rack.

"We're quite different in that aspect. I always want to find out who's right, and preferrably find out that I'm right. I'm trying to train myself not to, though" she answers.
