Fear the cold...
 A huge black helicopter had landed near a sheer stone cliff. The pilot was leaning against one of the legs of the helicopter, staring blankly at his watch. This wasn't the first time he had been stuck up here, waiting for Max Abram. He usually brought a book, or a few puzzles to occupy his time, waiting for Max to return with whatever treasure he could find. This time, he had taken a book of sudoku he had picked up in Japan.

He had been stuck on an especially hard sudoku when a voice sounded from the jungle. "Start the plane!" it said. Barely a few seconds later, a tan wolf in an Indiana Jones type out fit jumped on to the helicopter with a soaring leap. Sticking his head back out of the cockpit, Max called out to his pilot. "If you want to live to see a retirement home, get in now!" Before the pilot could ask "what do you mean?, " a huge rumbling sound was coming awfully close to where the helicopter was. Deciding not to argue, he jumped on to the plane himself.

Max's pilot had just taken off when a huge boulder smashed through the area, flattening the area where they were just sitting seconds ago, and tumbling off of the cliff. "Wow," said Max brightly. "Those things are everywhere!"
"Yes, well it appears that you have forgotten one important item-" started the pilot.
"What, you mean this?" As Max was talking, he pulled out small brown bag out of his vest pocket. Startled, his face quickly switched from confusion to understanding. "Oh yeah," he said, remembering what happened. "Instead of that golden skull, all I found was this bag. Some other guy must have beat me to it." With a shrug, he tossed the brown bag out of the window.

"That better not have been fuel," said the pilot, "because that would have been a useful tool at the moment." Confused, Max looked up to the fuel gauge. For a while, it had been tapping against the EMPTY marker. "Oh well," decided Max. "We can set up camp here for the night." He had been referring to an area where the trees had been miraculously cleared only seconds ago. "Great, get eaten by a bear while we're at it. " said the pilot under his breath as he touched down in the field.

Reaching the ground, Max could see that this area was not cleared naturally. The remaining grass was horribly scorched, leaving black patches everywhere. Even a few trees nearby were on fire. This though, was not what caught Max's eye. From the moment he climbed off the plain, his eyes had found a single form lying face-down in the burnt grass. "Holy crap!" he exclaimed as he rushed towards the body. "That's a body!"

 Hey dude, here's a tip, you can't keep posting what the characters in your story's see separately, post it on the SAME story, on the SAME topic

 Thanks for the tip, but there's a reason for doing it this way.

First of all, the time frame is one problem. If I posted everything I was planning on in one place, the time frame would be completely obliterated. In this way, I can choose to focus on one character, or focus on multiple characters without the confusion of telling what happened when.

Also, I don't consider it just one story. Instead, it's multiple stories under one title (as in the Marvel comics universe). Telling it from multiple points of view gives the reader the chance to create their own perspective as to what's happening (as in "Marvel comics 'civil war'".

Finally, as an added bonus, if people start to have favorite characters, they can choose to read their favorite character's story, or other character's story.

 look, it's considered spam on this forum, you can't go posting separate views of points of the same story.

Instead, go onto the SAME topic at the beginning of your post, make sure to say the same thing you say here, "what *insert characters name here* see's"

You're fine Ezekial =3 I like your "multiple POVs in different timelines" gimmick. In fact, I like this story in general ^^ My only crits are what I already put forth in the other topic =)

Really? I mean, yeah the multiple POV's are cool and all but I mean he's posting every different POV as different topics, is that allowed?
