He reached with his free hand towards his side, only realizing Misa was wearing his coat. "Dammit! Misa, you've got my sidearm!"

It was then that Taylor mentioned that Misa had his gun, to which she gasped in shock and shuffled around his coat. "Hurry up Misa! We don't have all day!" Minson shouts as she clapped her hands together. She closed her eyes and began mumbling what appeared to be an ancient words of some kind. A swirl of blue energy flowed around her as a glowing ring formed where the creature struck the ground. A small cylinder of ice rushed out of the ground, which should have trapped the creature from pulling back its arm(assuming it used it's arm to attack Taylor.) Minso sighed as if a bit weary. She leaned against the wall, panting a bit as Misa finally grabbed hold of Taylor's sidearm and flung it at him, hoping her efforts to get the weapon to him went a long way.

Taylor blasted a smoldering furrow into the floor a few feet ahead of him just as Minso had summoned up that pillar of ice. Rubble shot up and bounced off something hanging about a foot or two from the ceiling. "Son of a--!" Things happened quickly: Taylor caught his gun with his left hand as he spun his recovery from the first blast and shot where he'd seen the rubble bounce once he faced the ice pillar again. Something screamed, and the ice pillar began to crack as the invisible beast tried to break out its trapped extremity. "That pillar won't hold," Taylor said as he ejected the clip from his pistol and slotted in one marked with red electrical tape. "Incendiaries," he explained, taking aim at where he was sure the beast still was.

Mison snapped back, still a bit weary as she leaned against the wall. "Taylor, we can't even see what is attacking, how are we going to-" "Taylor jump to your right!" Mison cuts her sister off with a shout. Even though they couldn't see the thing, Minso saw the paths of the future, and if she could predict the attacks that were to come, Taylor might have a better way of dealing with this thing. However, this was also a problem, as whatever she 'changed' by warning Taylor would result in an action she didn't see when viewing the future.

And pulled the trigger on the invisible beast on the ceiling, spitting a spectacular plume of flame that charred a stretched-out armadillo's carapace as its owner; a strange mutant amalgamation of features from a chameleon, a scorpion, and an armadillo, shrieked and fell from its perch and smashed its head on the pillar of ice that its tail stinger was caught in. "Cain! Breaking armor!" he yelled as he pulled the sniper rifle around and loosed a few shots at the source of the strike Minso had warned him about. He got a lucky shot. It was another of the scorpion-chimerae, as it faded in and died from the high-velocity slugs that tore through the freakish mask-like plating on its "face". "For the... love of Paragon... Too much, too fast..." he said, gasping for breath. "This is... oh gods."

The fire would wrap around the beast, but instead of burning it, suck the very life force out of it and turn it's very core into spirit particles. "Heh, found you." Cable's voice states, walking towards the three of them as his evil and unpleasant spirit eye glowed as it fixed upon them. "Sorry for the delay, ran into a bit of trouble trying to get here." He informed as Saber walked up behind him. She was holding a piece of paper in her hand. "we also managed to get a map of this place. Do not know how useful it will be." She comments, looking at the map as Cable just waited for a reply.

"Thanks for the save, but this isn't our problem anymore." She comments, grabbing Misa's arm and tugging her along as they started walking away. "I-I'm sorry, Taylor. Thank you for everything." Misa adds, her voice a bit sadden as she waved good bye and followed her sister. Cable crossed his arms as he watched them leave, not really sure if it was save for them to simply just leave like that. "Anyways, you were saying?" Cable asked, wondering what this Origins business was all about. Saber simply just focused her eyes upon Taylor, also waited for some kind of explanation.

Saber interjected, almost cutting off Cable from his little comment. She wasn't sure if Taylor needed some things that were tucked away in his coat. "You might be able to get your coat back after all." Cable informed, walking to Taylor's side as Saber joined them. "They're coming back this way... And They seem to be in a-" "Ruuuuuun!!!" Minso's voice shouts as Misa followed her, both sprinting towards them with fear in their eyes. Cable and Saber only blinked a few times, well Cable did, Saber just stared. Running wasn't something the two of them did, no matter how big, ugly, or 'fearsome' their opponent may look. The girls slid to a halt next to Taylor, panting as Minso tried to talk. "Don't just stand there! You'll-" "Does it look like I give a damn?" Cable cuts her off. His eye focused on the approaching figure. He couldn't tell what it was though. "Are you gonna run too?" He asked Taylor, keeping his focus on the three figures approaching them.

The three figures approaching were holograms of Cable, Saber, and Taylor from when they first entered the place. They spoke to each other, but no words could be heard. Not even their feet clanking on the floor could be heard. "As Taylor said, this place is going to mess with us big time." Cable adds as the holograms walk right through him and kept going. Minso and Misa blinked a few times. "Well how was I suppose to know that!" Minso pouts as she crossed her arms. "Umm, Taylor, I almost forgot to give you your coat back." Misa states, smiling as she looked into his eyes with a bit of a blush, almost as if she wanted to keep it. "Come on, Misa, we have to go now." Minso tells her as she waits for Taylor to take his coat back. Once he does, they'll vanish down the corridor in hurry.

As the twins departed, he called after them, "Be safe," before resuming the hike through the bunker. Before too long, the three would reach a recently-excavated cavern, emerging atop a precipice overlooking the rest of this earthen hollow. The first thing they'd notice was that the twisting power they felt was much stronger here. The first thing that caught the eye was an immense, seamless stone pyramid that seemed to hang from the cave ceiling. An earthen ramp off the floor of the cavern led to an opening in the middle of one of its faces, above which hung a stone plaque bearing a stylized, eight-limbed tree. Milling about the base of the ramp were a multitude of animate corpses and impossible-seeming beasts, and that's just what they could see. "Yeah..." Taylor said, his voice hushed. "I think your cultists woke this place up." He tilted his head until the bones in his neck popped audibly, and tugged on the front of his coat, as if to psych himself up for what they were going to have to go through. I mean, besides the fact that they get to knock some more skulls in. "And this frightens you?" Saber asked as she looked around. Apparently she has seen worse. "Oh yeah, you were on that Spirit Dagger mission... Must of been fun, huh." Saber simply crossed her arms and cleared her throat. "I wouldn't call it fun, nor would I call it challenging. It was more of an annoyance." She replied, to which Cable just smirked. "Your brother almost died on that mission." "As stated before, it was an annoyance, nothing more." She snapped back with her lack of emotions. Cable just shrugged as he looked at Taylor. "Got any bright ideas? I'm sure you don't wanna hear mine." He asked, knowing full well if it was just Saber and him alone, they would just rush on in head on.
