Unable to edit my own topic titles? [Semi-Solved]; Problem solved for me, but for others perhaps not.

 Yeah, so I figured I'd be able to edit the titles of my own topics and such, but aparantly I don't have permission to do so. I get this error code too:

My question would be this: Is this the way things are supposed to be or do I just have some sort of problem? xD;

If someone could clear that up for me, that'd be swell. ^_^

 Apparently, it appears to be working fine for myself so far. Have you checked recently or did you do something wrong?

 It's been this way from the very start for me. I click "Edit Topic Title" on the first post and I get this:

Error Screen
 
You do not have permission to edit this topic
Error Code: 17101:1410000


At first I assumed it was a ranking thing, kind of like removing the "editted by" legend in your posts, but I've seen lower ranked members doing it just fine so I'm wondering what the deal is. .-.

Not that I've had an absolute need for it, but it'd be nice to be able to for the few times I did need to.

 Yeah... I was thinking that it might be a mod only thing (you being an RP Knight would explain why you could edit RPs), but I'm pretty sure I've seen others doing it.

 Apparently, there happens to be a bug with Zetaboards as of right now most likely. Denying access to certain features like 'Edit Topic Title' to certain users. Probably a user conflict, hopefully this problem will resolved in the future.

 Probably the most reasonable answer. I suppose I can always ask a Mod to edit a title for me if I need to. ^^;

Anyways, that pretty much clears up my question, so I suppose this case is more or less solved. Thanks to everyone who said something about this, and a big thanks to you Virgil for shedding some light on this.

And now I shall resume my daily activities~

 A double post, I know, but I figured I'd give y'all a little update.


Since hitting the 1,500 post mark, I seem to have gained the ability to change the names of my topics, so I just that's problem solved for me. Still, it doesn't quite explain why Blaire can only edit topics in the Roleplay Garden and not anywhere else with over 10,000 posts, while Virgil can do so freely with under 1,500, but hey, at least I'm good. xP

I'll leave the topic open just in case it needs to be discussed further, but I'm good otherwise.
