Official fan of Rouge Posts: 1,270 Group: A Rank Hero Member #9,467 Joined: October 27, 2008	I love their Guitar hero games and not their rock band ones and I think they went out of control making so many of these games but do you think they should cut down the making of Guitar Hero and Rock Band for awhile? I mean most people are fed up with new guitar hero games so are you fed up with it too? This is the list of guitar hero games I know Guitar Hero 2 Guitar Hero 3 Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar Hero 5 Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock So do you think it's time for them to stop the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games?

Posts: 749 Group: Former Monarchs Member #9,139 Joined: July 7, 2008	I think so long as the series flourishes, they'll keep making the series. ^^; I don't think they'll ever stop. But this isn't even that bad. Konami pretty much leads the rhythm game series in Japan... heck, look at DDR, Beatmania IIDX, Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania [The original Guitar Hero/Rock Band years ago, Harmonix just came and swooped the idea! The lawsuit didn't pan out so well, though. \|D] Pop'n' music, etc. Those games have over 15 installments each! \|D

With modern consoles all they have to do is add new songs via DLC instead of whole new games. They are getting old and I really don't think they're as popular as when it first came out on PS2. They'll always stay popular enough to keep making them probably though.

Thus They have announced we are only getting 1 GH title this year(90ish songs on disc and a whole new "story" mode) (thank heavens) and 1 DJ Hero title. so, they are slowing things down, but I've despised the GH series since Activision took over. Activision took Guitar Hero and reamed it like it was a Tony Hawk game.... Hopefully them slowing down is a sign that they are actually putting some heart into the new titles, instead of simply making them track packs with a SLIGHT visual upgrade.

I love the series I'm talking about who originally got the first one and then they went on making more and I just want it to stop or at least limit the releases of These Guitar Hero/ Rock Band games - I don't actually mind this but it just annoying me too much! soon after like warriors of rock one they'll maybe make another one called Guitar Hero Warriors of Time or something Edited by Time Lord Shadow, Oct 27 2010, 08:56 PM.
