Just what I had in mind. Everything dead on earth, except us. Posts: 949 Group: C Rank Hero Member #10,625 Joined: December 26, 2009	I've seen lots of topics about what people like, but we are also defined by what we don't like. Ever had a moment where you thought, "STOP THAT NAO" I actually have a list embedded in my mind somewhere. opens up a can of whoop-a* steam* Things in life that bug me to bits (in no particular order) 1. When people chew loudly/with their mouth open - Especially when its so loud that I can't hear myself think. I don't really want to hear what is churning in your buccal cavity, nor do I want to see what is happening to it. I CRIIINGE so much. Dx 2. People that shove their opinions down your throat - Speaks for itself. 3. *Btchy gossip - When I'm around people that do this, I just nod and go 'yeah'. I don't care about how much ye hate someone who you'll just go and talk to like its nothing afterwards. 4. When people lick their fingers after eating something - e__e Please no. And keep those dang salivary hands away from my stuff. 5. Crumbs - Bready buscuit crumbs...I have no idea why they annoy me so much. But they do. 6. Spiders and flying insects - Anyone who's been around me long enough knows that I have a serious and frustrating fear of these. I cannot be in the same room with them, no matter what the size. I WILL shout and run like Spongebob on crack. Yeah, I'm probably a wimp. I just need heeeelp. x( 7. Marmite - Sveet Jebus.. a friend of mine was eating it with beetroot and some other shiz in class and I was about to throw up right there and then. I dunno... I can't bring myself to eat something that makes me' stomach turn just from the smell. 8. When things aren't straight** - And I don't mean which way you sway. I have this really strange OCD with keeping objects around me aligned completely straight. If I see a pen on my desk that is laying lopsided to the edge, I start thinking about it too much and end up moving it. shrugs I'm strange like that. I have a tonne more, but I'm boring myself. So, what kinda things annoy you? It could be things that people do, stuff on TV, stuff you've seen in general. I dunno.

Oh, this'll be fun; rubs hands together -Math: Of all the subjects one does in school, this is definetly the worse. It's pretty much a convolted mess of logic; it yields a sensible answer, but the procedures themselves often seem to make no sense. Plus, with so many to memorize...oh my god, it's pathetic.... -Hip Hop: Worst. Genre. Of. Music. EVUR. Seriously, I HATE hip hop. Of all the types of music out there, it is most definetly the type I do NOT want to listen to. Horrible beats, lyrics you can't understand most of the time, and of course, horrible, horrible singing/rapping/whatever. Basically, it's garbage. Pure, total garbage. -Politics: If I were to discuss just why I hate politics....it would be bad. Trust me. -People with illogical opinions: "Oh, I hate this game because most of the houses are some shade of blue." 'Nuff said.

But it would have to be these: -People that get angry at me or someone else for no reason. It makes me angry and makes me feel guilty since I did nothing to anger the user. -Rap. It is a terrible genre of music and has no real musical beat to it. It is just metaphors and stuff all mixed together. ugh. And one more thing: -People that post illogical things. It makes me feel angry and annoyed. I also hate people that repeat stuff almost 5 times and are dumbfounded most of the time, as well as people that are not serious when needed. There are a lot of things that SERIOUSLY PISS ME RIGHT THE F^CK OFF, but only a few things really affect me on a personal level, none of which I'll post. No need to type out my Achilles heel, hmm? Instead, here's the things that just sort of rub me the wrong way. -Folks with no table manners: That includes licking your fingers clean, putting your elbows on the table, chewing with your mouth open, not putting a cloth on your lap, using the wrong fork, etc. More irritating when people get on my case for "not having table manners" when I'm not at the table. I mean, your argument is invalid when the table doesn't exist. It's also probably really f^cking hard to eat, too. -Not dressing like a professional: A minor irritant more for myself because I just like looking sharp, but moreso when someone that is supposed to be dressed to impress... is wearing a white t-shirt and slacks. GOOD SIR, THAT BE SOME BULLSH!T. -Blood on my suit: You've seen it before in movies, I'm sure. Well, life will happen, and sometimes I'll get an ulcer, or I'll beat the ever-loving sh!t out of someone for pissing me off for two hours straight. That gets messy, and when I get blood on my suit, it just sort of hurts on a psychological level. I'm no clean freak, but blood splattered on my white undershirt does NOT look sharp. Thank The Maker for club soda. -When your gun jams/weapon breaks: I don't use guns a lot, and weapons less so, but when I do, I want them to work. When they don't, I make them work anyway out of sheer spite for the malfunctioning object-in-question. -Repeating myself: ESPECIALLY ON THE INTERNET, because often things can be remedied easily by merely SCROLLING UP AND READING. Dumbass move on your part, pisses me off bad enough to not want to help you out if you're asking a question about something. -Kids: Well, not all of them, but most of them are REALLY DUMB with no real excuse to be, seeing how they have access to more learning resources than I ever had growing up. They are all mostly uncultured, nubile-mided, and vulgar with no reason to be. Earn your vulgarity. Forge it in fire. Then let it loose unto the rest of the world, like a big, metal dog on a short, twine leash. -People dissing good things when they don't know much about them: In this topic, actually. Everyone's all "uHH, RAP SUCKS,,," and I'm all like. What the hell, Tavros. Check out some things that don't suck for once, dudes. Like Kool Keith, if you're cool with vulgarity, and Panacea if you're cool with nerd-rap that switches faster than an epileptic light-switch. Country? Hank III, Straight to hell. Dubstep? Mt. Eden, Sierra Leone. "Scene Music"? Well let's try most of the album of Hadouken! - For the masses (though I don't like the culture, the album is pretty good). Don't be afraid to try things out just because you hate the genre. Not all songs are the same, believe it or not, and a lot of the things are actually pretty freaking awesome. You just gotta explore a bit, though. -People that think graphics make the game: I laugh at you, and then I go play me some Dwarf Fortress, Robopon, or some of The Lost Vikings. Maybe I'll play Sam and Max hit the road, Day of the tentacle, or Discworld if I'm feeling like I'm in the mood for a point and click. Maybe even some Commander Keen, and King's Quest, if I'm feeling like I want to play something truly ancient. All of those games were truly memorable experiences, and they're old games with outdated graphics that are a joy to play because they're balls-deep in awesome story, or great gameplay. Sometimes, they're just addictive, and that's all they really need to be. Tl;dr? I'd rather play River City Ransom over Modern Warfare 2 any day of the week, not because MF2 is bad, but because RCR is more fun (and certainly less realistic). I think that's enough for now. By default, you are required to be smiling and laughing all the time. If you show more neutral emotions, or (heaven forbid) frown or don't laugh at a joke, people start to think you're suffering from depression. So I'm pretty much required to keep a false smile on all the time, lest I end up having to spend 20 minutes explaining why I'm not in a "good mood". Seriously, I feel like I'm dying a little inside every time I'm compelled to laugh at a bad joke just to be polite. It just isn't healthy to keep a bad mood bottled up like that, but aside from coming online I don't have much of an outlet. These irritate me too, but not to the same degree. Most of them relate to driving, because for some reason we seem to like turning off half our brains when behind a wheel: People who bring their kids when shopping for groceries - Why, oh why, oh why must you bring your kids with you for the weekly grocery run? All they do is run around, scream, make messes, and generally just get in everyone's way. Please, if at all possible, LEAVE THEM AT HOME. The store's already crowded enough as it is! People who don't signal when turning - "All right, I need to turn left onto this two way street. There's a group of cars coming from the right but they're a good way out, so I can-- Oh, wait, someone's coming from the left. Come on buddy, hurry up! Why are you slowing down?! Are you turning here? You're not signalling. Oh you ###! You ARE turning! Now I missed my chance to turn just because you were too lazy to signal! And you probably don't even realize it! Thanks a lot #######!" People who like to drive slowly through parking lots with the windows down while blaring rap music - There's at least three or four of these guys rolling through my apartment's parking lot from midnight to 2 AM in the morning every day. I know because they're always waking me up. People who pretend I'm not there when I need to change lanes - "Okay buddy, I need to get in this exit lane. Could you move out of the way, please? Hey! HELLO! I'm signalling! I need in NOW! Come on! The lane ends in five seconds! STOP STARING STRAIGHT AHEAD!" People who decide the street is a great place to chat - Did you just happen to run into an old friend while out and about town? Awesome! That's great! Why not go into a restaurant, share dinner, and catch up? Or maybe you could go to his house and shoot the breeze in his living room? I really don't care...just as long as you don't chat while parked side by side on a freeway exit and raise hell for everyone behind you. Seriously, this actually happened to me recently. And when I honked and got the cars to move, the ladies in one of the cars flipped me off and yelled obscenities at me, like I was the one being rude. Really? REALLY? People who compare me to others as a measure of worth: Often goes like this. "Please perform Task A." "Sorry, I am unable to perform Task A." "Oh, well Person B would be able to..." I loathe this, so very much. Am I Person B? No. I'm me. I can do what I can do, nothing more, nothing less. DO NOT JUDGE ME BECAUSE I CAN'T DO SOMETHING SOMEONE ELSE CAN. Guilt Trips: I should note that these never work on me, but whenever someone tries one on me it bugs me to no end. My mother has become fond of trying this lately, and frankly I want to punch her for it sometimes. She's not usually one to jump to this tactic, so that's probably why it bugs me twice as much. But yeah, Guilt Trips do not fly with me. People who hate something without even trying it: Usually with games and shows. My best friend is particularly guilty of this one. I'll suggest something that I think is good, and he'll refuse to watch it for whatever reason (an example that comes to mind was Wolverine and the X-men, as he thought it was too 'childish'). Doublely as annoying when the person in question eventually tries it by chance and finds that it's actually pretty good (as with Wolverine and the X-Men xD), according to them. Try something first, if you still hate it by that point, good for you. If not, well done; you've found something new you can enjoy. "It's too childish.": Really? Oh come on, I'm not saying watch Playschool or anything. Just because something is animated and aimed at kids doesn't mean it's not good. You're never too old for fun. I cannot STAND politics. The corruption of this society as a result of stupid decisions...difficult to take sometimes. Expanding on what Dr. Prower said; really monotonous voices. Especially when its coming from a teacher. And you have to listen. Its just kinda damn. x\| And I hear what Zed and Chaos are saying about prejudgementalism. That annoys me a bit too. There's always more to something than what you are exposed to by say, the immediate media for example. I've pretty much lost faith in mainstream rap, or mainstream music in general for that matter. There's a positive side to Hip Hop that is rarely seen because what are thought to be the sellers are soulless glorifications of materialistic things that drive most people to shit. I often find myself digging back to the Old School, or digging down to the Underground to find the stuff that means something to me. That's another thing - The media, more specifically the tabloid media, irks me. Its just such sensationalist, money-grubbing, obnoxious garbage made to poison the minds of the countless droning sheep that follow. Saying stuff like, "Your a piece of S___! No one wants to watch/read your crappy S___!" 2) People who instantly down your opinion/Scorn your preferences/opinion. Like in Politics or just general stuff. I had to stand up for my best friend who was getting bullied because she was Bi curious. Nothing is wrong with that! My absolute worst thing i hate: Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Flo-rida, Justin Bieber and all of the f___ing fans, and just about everything that comes out of today's radio's. ITS ALL F*ING BULLS!
