Many people, ranging from long time fans, new listeners, as well as bands and singers past to present, have been taking time out to pay respect to the former Beatles legend. So I thought, perhaps this is a topic worthy of discussion. For those who don't know, John Lennon was a member of the UK band The Beatles. He was one of the primary vocalists as well as a songwriter, alongside Paul McCartney who also was a primary vocalist. Near the end of the Beatles, Lennon started a relationship with Yoko Ono. This was highly controversial, for Ono appeared to try to have say in the goings-on of the Beatles, with many people disliking her and the hold she had on Lennon. After the Beatles broke up in 1970, John Lennon went on to do many solo albums, though with Yoko Ono still playing as a strong influence. In December of 1980, when returning to his apartment, Lennon was shot four times in the back. He was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital. There's a brief summary, for more details, just search around, his life story and accomplishments are just about everywhere. So my question than is what is your opinion on John Lennon? Or anything to do with him as well as the Beatles.
