Trying to go with a theme this time Posts: 3,032 Group: E Rank Legend Member #11,365 Joined: August 31, 2010	Fan made, keep in mind. He's also not very professional from the looks of it. I had an idea floating around Youtube with something about sonic and animation, but most people dont have the skills to make it look professional if at all good. My idea was to create some Music videos, ligament music videos or parodies of the official music video, and just give it a "Sonic spin" on it, if you will. My idea was turned down for being too demanding and i got messages from people saying, "It's too much work for no pay". If i get these kind of responses from people about a 3 minute video, it's gona be worse for a fan made movie, no matter the length.

I still can't use this. Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	Technically speaking, you need 4,320 drawings for just those three minutes, hence why animation is both time-consuming and expensive. So unless you're loaded, you need the balls-to-the-wall animation technique alongside the organizational prowess to get something like that actually done to a portfolio-level caliber. People don't like volunteering for e-projects if the person in charge isn't in the trenches of the production process along with them, because then they're basically doing all the work for that person's gain. Really, no one remembers the crew; They remember the leads. Of course, I'm not sure about how involved you were in that aspect of your project, but it's something to keep in mind. These projects are very possible, as we've seen with the success of the Sonic Shorts and as I'm sure we'll see with the upcoming Sonic fan film; They just require a ton of effort and dedication.

Pokemon had a lot of movies, Yu-gi-oh had one, Naruto, Digimon, and Mario. So I'm Sonic and Halo are next on the plate, maybe even a crash bandicoot movie haha xD

I'm a frequent drawer myself, and let me tell you, it A LOT of work just of one little frame. Then again i am sorta a perfectionist, but my sketches are roughly 2 to 3 minutes. Even with the help of other people working on the animation, its gona look odd with different styles in each frame. Plus, I'm amazed at how people even have the time to draw up a little flash that will be put in the Sonic Shorts! I'm nowhere near as good as them.
