I do not remember the specifics, but in short he got ahead of himself and stated that Sega was working on it when in reality they were just considering the idea In short, it's been done; But it never hurts to try sending them ideas

Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	If I'm remembering correctly, Knothole outright lied of having sent Sega anything after it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the response letter he got from Sega had been doctored and made up. In fact, Sega had never been considering such a movie and kindly wished for him to simply shut his trap, and the studio he claimed was making the movie doesn't even exist. It has thus turned into a controversial fan movie that needs no more exposure and attention than my brief overview has given it. Your history lesson for the day.

Posts: 6,546 Group: Former Monarchs Member #6,722 Joined: March 16, 2008	Indeed; I'm pretty sure the official Sega sites have the relevant contact information, but unless directly specified by actual employees as with Sonic 4's marketing campaign, they are closed off to direct fan feedback. They probably get Sonic movie proposals all the time, and said proposals are probably discarded in a folder somewhere or responded to with some canned e-mail response by some tired receptionist. You would do much better to simply gather the talent within the community and make your own film instead.
