Hey.

I've got a little problem with Sonic Heroes. The game is being really slow on my Computer. And with slow, I don't mean it's lagging, it's like I'm playing the game in slow motion. It's very annoying... Anyone knows how I could fix this?

I'd say PC, Eevee. |P

Is this a problem that's come up before or is this your first time actually playing it on your computer?

Some people do refer to consoles as Computers thank you very much. =\

Even on my >3 gig computer, Sonic Heroes runs slow, which is surprising because I have a netbook with a 1.66 GhZ processor that can handle Sonic Adventure DX just fine. Long story short, you won't get a smooth AND fast framerate on Sonic Heroes.

I have a PC. Windows XP. And Sonic Heroes has always been slow since I played it. And the same as the guy above me, Sonic Adventure DX runs smooth and fast. Sonic Heroes is just like slow-motion

Then some people are silly. |P

Anyway, there's a problem at hand!

I grabbed the Sonic PC Collection myself not too long ago and Heroes was one of the included titles. Not once have I actually had an issue with it. Sonic Riders was the one that gave me trouble. >_>;

Anyway, I don't think there's really anything I can do to help you. I'll run Heroes on this thing to see if I encounter the same problem, but otherwise I'm not that big of a techhead. Sorry. :/

EDIT: Yep, back from giving it a go and I had zero issues. Loading time was a bit longer than I would have liked but once it was going it was fine.

I'm playing it in the windowed mode though, since my resolution stretches it somewhat. If you're not doing that already I suggest giving that a go, it might help. Otherwise I've got nothing. Cy might know something though, I'll see if I can get him to assess the situation.

Quiet, please, it's snack time!
I haven't played it on PC before, but do you have any options for lowering the graphics and whatnot? That might speed it up a bit.

Also close any programs you're not using.

Windowed mode? I'm guessing you can find those in the options of the game?

Aye, assuming you're using the disk there should be a start-up menu that starts up when you insert it. Play Game is usually the first option, but there should also be an "Options" button as well. Should be easy enough to figure out from there.

This is all off the top of my head though. If you have trouble with it just let me know and I'll pop my game back in and see if I can find what I'm talking about. xP

Sonic Heroes is rubbish on the PC, or it may just be rubbish overall as the PC one is the only one I own, but you should try to lower the resolution settings and some graphical settings, though don't take my word for it, Heroes runs like it's **** itself no matter what I do. XD

Like I said, Heroes runs like it's **** itself no matter what you do, unless you've got the best computer in the world, it will always be like that.

Then explain how it runs just fine on my computer. Mine is by no means top of the line, it's fairly new, sure, but in terms of hardware and all that it could be better. xP
