I still can't use this.

 To be brief, for ease of reference and because I went through Hell to even find all the topics, much to everyone's amusement, here's a list of all the Epic Lulz and Lulz-esque topics we've had in the past. Really, they're just too damn good to not immortalize in some fashion, are they not?--


Ver. 1: "Epic Leave;" (March 23-24, 2008, 180 replies). A member creates a rather inflammatory leaving topic that calls the attention of the founder of SB himself. But when an alternate account of his is quickly discovered trying to defend the indefensible, that's when things get a little bit Lulzy.

Ver 2: "EPIC LULZ V. 2.0;" (August 22-23, 2008, 606 replies). An aspiring game maker comes to SB for advice and assistance. However, his illegible and insulting posts draw the attention of the Grammar Nazis who quickly precede the masters of Lulz. Arguably the most controversial Epic Lulz topic in the event's history.


  • Ver. 2.1: "LEAVING FOREVER AND NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP;" (December 29, 2008-January 1, 2009, 464 replies). Once again, an inexperienced member has a complete meltdown during his good-bye speech. And it isn't long before the Lulz hijack the topic.

  • Ver. 2.2: "Epic Lulzageddon;" (November 10-14, 2009, 103 replies). An infamous member tries to sneak back in under the guise of a very obvious alternate account. When mods catch onto his game in his welcoming topic, the Lulz inevitably starts.

Ver. 3: "ZOMG everyone hates me;" (March 30-31, 2010, 888 replies). The co-founder of Epic Lulz himself treats the community to a satirical opening post whining about the lack of attention that his fan fiction receives. Genuine condolences are met with nothing but eye-winks, and soon everyone gets into the Lulzy spirit.

Ver. 4: "Epic Lulz V4: The Redeadening;" (October 2-3, 2010, 1234 replies). A member is concerned about whether or not staff are harrassing and bullying him and other members. Once the record is set straight, everyone is all hugs and kisses... until the whiff of popcorn hits the air. The most epic of the Epic Lulz topics yet.

Ver. 5: "Epic Lulz V.5;" (February 23, 2011, 853 replies). A member is in need of assistance with his group permissions which are disallowing him from editing the title of his own threads. Members are reasonable and come to his assistance, but MoD, despite the failure and harsh feelings left over from the last attempt at lulz, starts to post around a bit. Then all hell breaks loose.

 Confirming it has been a long-ass time(nearly 10 whole months, if my half-assed maths is correct) since the last one, and my last couple of attempts to get one going have not gone well. Meaning it isn't time right now, so don't even try this shit at home kids! :D

Yep.
 At the Emerald Chaos forum, we actually have some epic lulz. Guy overreacts after he breaks up with a girlfriend who communicates trough him with only the internet. I laughed, another one laughed and it suddenly evolved into a 'epic lulz'-like situation.

 Actually, I do have some epic lulz to share, if this counts.
Before i came here to =SB=, I was at a forum for stickpage.com. However, as soon as i got my intro post up, this guy named hobbes (As in the tiger from the calvin and hobbes comic strip) steps up, and start assulting me with the vulgar slurs that i won't repeat here, One thing lead to another and as a result, i never returned to that forum AGAIN.

The morale of the story? Never be TOO nice in that forum. Otherwise, you might just get a visitor that will ruin your forum life.

Epic Lulz or not? Only time (And this thread) will tell.

Yep.
 I dunno, i wouldn't call it epic lulz. In your place, i would be rather disappointed that i was chased away by a single member instead of reporting him to someone and then living on the forum.

No offense here. =3 But still.

Well it's not a thread for listing a funny moment or moments, but moreso a list to threads that were turned into 'Epic Lulz' threads. Basically this happens under certain conditions and when a certain staff member gives it the okay, a thread is converted into an epic lulz and everyone just goes nuts until time is up and the thread is locked.

It's a fairly rare occurance however, so don't hold your breath for one. |P


People should really read the other posts before they post themselves.
