Now isn't a good time for SEGA to reenter the hardware buisness. And the article doesn't make much sense. What does it mean when he says 'platform holders'? The three main video game companies with a console this gen? (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft) Why would Naka want to work on a Dreamcast 2 with a company other than SEGA? I mean, the Dreamcast was SEGA's system. Not Nintendo's. Not Sony's. Not Microsoft's. SEGA's.

It seems very unlikely that this could happen, but as for him working with Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft on a system would be stupid. I want the Dreamcast 2 to be as original as the first.

I think it will be too hard to keep up with the new systems its hard to make a new console and get respect for it. I love the idea though, I just don't think they will go with it

I wouldn't mind if Sega got back in though, if they replaced Microsoft. I always liked Sega alot more.
