I picked it up yesterday since it's only 800 Microsoft Points which is a deal considering other big titles that have been re-released have gone for 1200. Halo Reach and art are really going to cut into my playing time for the game but from what I could tell it looked crisp and sounded nice. PSN's version of the game will be out next week, for all of you Playstation fans/owners wanting to jump back into the Adventure days. Sonic Adventure was released on Xbox Live Arcade on September 15, 2010, while the PlayStation Network version will be released later this month. The DLC package, simply titled "Sonic Adventure DX", has launched alongside the game on XBLA, for 400 Microsoft Points, effectively making the entire Sonic Adventure DX 1200 points. It upgrades the game to include all of the DX features sans the Game Gear games. - Wikipedia

Posts: 4,317 Group: Former Monarchs Member #13 Joined: April 13, 2006	I will admit, despite me owning the GameCube AND PC version, I was thinking of getting IF it was a direct and better port of the dreamcast version. But from what I heard, it's the PC version, except ya can't hack it. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pass, I already have a few Sonic titles I wanna get this year. 800 Microsoft points seems like a good bargain though, so ya'll getting it, go crazy.

This is the highest rated Sonic game of all time(even on IGN) but all of the sudden it's a 3.5? Nah, if it got a 9.5 when it came out I don't see how it could get any less than a 7 now. It's the same game we all loved back then, it's not like we're going to hate it now. Anyway, I'll most likely get it on the PS3 because I hate playing games on a laptop and it can't run it at full settings/resolution at the full framerate. I hope SA2 gets released as well!

As for me, I'm content with my GCN Adventure DX disc. As of now, my money and time are sparse, so I see no need to get a game I've already beaten multiple times and already own. As for the IGN review, I agree with the general gist of it, that is the game HAS aged. Of course, my view is not as extreme as the reviewer's. I'd personally give it a 6.5, looking at it from a neutral viewpoint. However, nostalgia is what keeps it a 10 for me, and frankly, it always will.

Also, they need to fix the leaderboards and ban "THEsonicFAN" on Xbox Live, -128 minutes on ALL of sonics levels? I know they say practice makes perfect but COME ON!!!
