But despite the fact, we all are brothers and sisters, Inhabiting and living under the same sky. But despite this, we war and kill our siblings over trivial things, Staining the earth on which we all walk, With the blood of our brothers, With the blood of our sisters. The sky under which we go through our lives weeps, For the clouds surely know of the atrocities we commit. We slay, maim, gouge, and destroy our siblings, In the name of things which ought not be fought for. Approach a member of the family not, With the tainted lash of hatred, But with the pure flower of love. ======================================= The sword. A weapon who's blade is stained red With the blood of its countless victims. Were it alive, what would such a being feel? Would it live only to fight, And fight only to live? Would it be controlled By those with the skill to do so? I believe that it would cry For each person it has ever brought harm to, Its tears as red as the blood it has spilled.

The very thought of hanging around with these guys again only frustrated Ki to a small degree. He wouldn't agree to anything, as he did before. However, last time, he ended up being a huge help to them even when he didn't want to. Would the same happen again? "Fate, don't toy with me." He spoke out, speaking to, well, himself of course. Even if others heard his statement, he'd act like he never say a darn thing, as if what he said was meant to be said in his mind and not out loud. Ki then lifted his hand and brought together his index and middle figure and pointed them at the door. "Kes." He uttered, and suddenly a blue transparent box like barrier formed in front of him. With a tilt of his hand he motioned for the box to extend forward rapidly, and it did. The barrier slammed into the the door, cracking the fragile thing until it crumbled into rocks and pebbles. The barrier soon faded into nothingness as he walked through the door way and headed out, not caring if the group followed him or not. He didn't go far though, and stopped a few feet in front of the entrance and looked around. His thoughts complied into one simple word at the site that he saw. And he expressed it with no emotion at all. All he spoke was one small word. "Damn..."

A Black plasma-like shield covered the sky. looking around, he realized that the bunker they were in that was once above ground, no covered up form the debris as if a war had waged destruction during their slumber. What most shocked him was how he spoke: I'm no time traveller, omitting cyrogenic stasis...yet I speak as if time were no object. How...how can I do such a thing? If anything, I should be more understanding of it! Then what was around began to have a greater effect on him. He walked over to a piece of the rubbish and picked it up. "These are likely among the last traces of humanity in this particular area, unless, by some strange policy, they decided to keep milleniums-old trash in landfills near museums."

The buildings were all jet black, and slightly organic, with green widows shaped like hexagons and glowing with an errie green hue. The group was near the back of the museum, the door they had opened was a side entrance. There was a gate, and they were far away, but they could see strange black creatures moving in the distance. "what...what are they?" Zak said. Upon closer inspection, and a bit of squinting, he could make out what they were. "T-Those are Black Arms Aliens!" He said in astonishment. Behind the group, the smaller Sapien had ventured deeper into the old museum, growing ever closer to the strange voices he heard. He turned a corner to find a large door, destroyed and in crumbles. He went to investigate, but made a small gasp, before running to hide behind the wall. On the other side of the door were strange, tall creatures, the Mobians of the past.

He saw the partly organic surroundings of the city, and even witnessed the Black Arms. His calm face belied the astonishment and wonder about how they were in this kind of world, and how long they were in the stasis chambers. At the same time, he felt something about the environment that was somewhat...familiar. "Hm?" he said as his ear twitched, hearing something behind him and the others. He turned around, seeing nothing to have made a sound. He still heard what he heard though; the sound of someone letting out a gasp. He took a couple of steps toward where he heard the sound, stopping at least three feet from the wall. "Whoever you are, come out where we can say you. If you're peaceful, you have my word we won't hurt you," Spin said to whoever might've been hiding. Behind his back, he signaled to the others to not attack. He wasn't looking for a fight, and anyone who could and would tell them about what had happened while they were in their cryogenic hibernation would be more than welcome in his eyes, no matter who or what they were.

He simply shrugged his shoulders uncaring, and took a step forwards to leave. However, a gasp from behind him forced him to stop and look over his shoulder. He saw Spin and Kenji go check it out, to which he simply sighed and shook his head. "I don't have time to play hide and seek." Ki spoke, slightly annoyed that he stopped himself from walking away because he heard a noise. He soon lifted up his hand and pointed his index and middle fingers toward the wall. "Kes." He spoke, and suddenly the wall was encased with the same light blue, see through barrier, as well, encasing whatever would be leaning on the wall or near it. Fact was, he barely missed Kenji, hoping to teach the fool to not rush towards something that might be dangerous. Ki walked towards Spin and stopped at his side. "I can't keep this barrier up forever, so make it quick." He informed Spin, his hand slightly shaking as he was trying to keep the barrier up. He hasn't feed the spirit in his eye for a good long time now, which meant that his powers wouldn't be top notch. Heck, the kid could even break his barrier should he flip out and bang on it several times. That is how weak Ki was currently, yet he knew getting information from whatever was behind the wall was important to the group. Yet again, he was falling into helping these guys again. Or maybe his agenda was different this time around.
