Break out the L-word. The other L-word.
Oh boy, am I bogged down with books:

Blood Trinity (Book One of the Belador Series) by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love

Locked Inside by Nancy Werlin - Reading this one for English class.

On Creative Writing edited by Paul Engle - Recently checked this out from my school library. Pretty interesting stuff so far.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand - This is the big one, both literally and metaphorically. 1168 pages long, and it's a pretty important book as far as historical influence and impact goes. Recently saw the movie after having forgot about the book for a year or two, and decided I needed to check it out. Thankfully, since my dad is a faculty member at the local college, we managed to check it out from the library. And since he's faculty, we get the book for close to six months. Plenty of time to read it all.

What will it take to show you that it's not the life it seems?
I've told you time and time again you sing the words but don't know what it means
To be a joke and look, another line without a hook
I held you close as we both shook for the last time take a good hard look!

Still reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Still really long. >_> I'm in Part 3 now, so the end is somewhat in sight, I guess.

Just recently, to take a break from Atlas, I read through Anthem by Ayn Rand real quick. It's not really a long book so I finished it in a couple of hours.

I'm also about to start reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. Can't wait. ^_^

[insert something cheerful here]

Right now, I'm reading El túnel by Ernesto Sábato for my Spanish class. Admittedly, the satirical first-person narrative is much more enjoyable than I expected.

Just finished reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and seriously, it is probably one of the best books I've ever read. Way too fucking sad, though; way too fucking sad. T_T

I WANT-I WANT-I WANT. Every day you hear people say what they want or bought. Well, this is what I want. I want people who are sick, to be healed. I want children without parents to be adopted. I want people to never have to worry about food and shelter and warmth. But most of all I would like to see people give to care about each other, less gossiping and more to help each other ... Now let's see how many people will copy this. I think almost anyone. I did it, now you do.

all systems go

I just finished Cows by Michael Stokoe.

Never again. Never again.

I'm thinking of ways I can hand this book off without making it seem too obvious that it's the most repulsive, f'ed up book I've ever read in my life.

Still reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Scout's so badass. Even though she's a little girl.

I object to your claims
Yesterday, I finished The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

It was utterly fantastic.
