Posts: 5,845 Group: Former Monarchs Member #1,038 Joined: May 13, 2007	Well it seems more likely than ever now that it's coming - the platforms it'll be released on have been announced, no set release date but if I had to guess it'll be early 2011. They had playable demos at PAX so I would say it's actually coming this time. For real.

I'll probably enjoy it, but I'm willing to bet most Duke fans won't and most gamers now won't, including the critics... You see for some reason it will be judged on how long it has been in production instead of on its merits alone and that will lead to its downfall. This may not be such a big deal if it was only 3-4 years but a 12 year production cycle isn't for most people.

Since then I've been playing some Duke games (even the original platform shooters) and threw up a few videos. Next thing you know, DNF is a go.
