As is customary with any topic I start, allow me to regale you with a tale that you don't particularly care about: While listening to Spin's Jukebox recently, he and Kiara made mention of the fact that the Shack has its own personality and would probably be female (of course). This gave me an idea; a Moe Anthropomorphism of the Shack. A mascot! A 'Shack-tan', if you will. So, I've done a concept sketch, but I'd encourage anyone who frequents the Shack to submit their own suggestions and stuff too because our beloved Shack is a community thing and all, so it stands to reason the community should have a say in their mascot, LOL. I'll upload my sketch soon, but for now here's some points that I jotted down beside it; -Wears blue somewhere (because this is a Sonic forum), but definitely wears warm, cheerful colours, because the Shack is a happy place.  -'Club president' sort of armband with the word 'LULZ' emblazoned on it. -Long hair (because badasses have long hair) -May or may not be portrayed with cookies, muffins or other sweet pastries, due to the general obsession in the Shack with such foodstuffs. -One pants leg is rolled up shorter than the other, indicating easy-goingness or ditziness. -Said pants leg might actually be torn as opposed to rolled to reflect the sort of violent chaos that usually takes place in the Shack. -Constantly levitating in clear defiance of logic and the laws of physics. -May or may not have eyebeams. Just because. -Overall should have a simplistic design for ease of replication. None of this is set in stone, so other ideas, additions and suggestions for alteration are very much welcome, as previously stated.  Viva la Shack-tan! :3 |

I like this plan. The description for Shack-tan works pretty well and we should make her hair purple. Also, didn't Blaine say he was going to do something like this? I don't know, I'm up too late too care. |

A drawing of the Shack? *thumbs up* The levitation due to defiance of logic is definitely badass. Perhaps she could have a halo and a devil tail? Its a way to characterise the mixture between good and evil tendencies in there. Or maybe something simpler like the Yin and Yang symbol. She could be holding a small tray of cookies. :3 Or maybe a plate with a slice of cake, if the former takes up too much of the image. I dunno... But I do like this idea so far, T'. =} |

Interesting... I'm not sure how well it'd work out for her to actually be holding a sweet. Seems more like something just to be incorporated into her clothes. Like a picture of a cookie on her shirt, or whatever she may end up wearing there. Or perhaps a cake hat. And for some reason, I can't help but imagine her with a chao-like emotion ball thing, or something similar. Though, do we really need to call her Shack-tan? Makes the whole thing seem too Japan, imo. ...Also, can somebody PLEASE explain this whole, "I know how recruiting." crap!? |

Two things 1. Somewhere on her cloths, possibly on her hat, a symbol of a volume speaker being crossed out, ya know like those no smoking things. Reason: Because a lot of people hate auto play  2. An arm band, or maybe a tattoo or something, that says *laugh Track* on it.

She needs to wear a top hat with some kind of foodstuff on it. Like a slice of cake or something. =3 And the 'Know how recruiting' thing is a meme/fad thing we at the Shack came up with to poke fun at a Motivational Poster with a little....grammar error on it.

Yes. Not just for the Recruiting Memefad, but since she's literally so big in relation to the site. -Speaking of that Mega Chaos, I found the Original/Human form of the photo, so I guess you could use this, Cr'ader: Mega Milk. -White should also be a major color of hers, representing her open-canvas forum/mansion form. -The Shack HAS to be female since in one of my Reality-altering binges, Devlin once mentioned that The Shack has to be female -Laugh Track would probably be a little Doll that she carries as a charm. -How about we include an aspect of the top 20 (active) Shack regulars to her design? E.g., Blaire's fang, Maybe a weapons rack behind her with armor to represent Devlin, a doll of Leo (VGCats) for Ktim, Trauma Center/Photo of CR-S01 for Kiara... you know, the works. -Yes, I did mention featuring The Shack within SRS 'n' Canon. Of course, her human form within SRS 'n' Canon is shaped by her anger at her residents, and is thus "sleeker" and significantly more "cold." I guess, using Blaine's Logic, her Shack-tan form would be influenced by happiness and flattery. -Maybe... There could be Shack-tan sisters? |
