Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	Sign up still open if anyone is interested in joining The ship sailed on with a silent grace that it has done for the pass 3 days, sailing not over water but on a vast sandy ocean, the grains parting way like waves as the vast vessel sailed over them. Onboard deck was all quite, all the crew went about thier work without making a sound, the captain stood at the helm and gave no orders, his trust in his crew absoloute. At the head of the ship, looking past the brow, stood two individuals who stood out from the rest of the crew. A man on the right was decked out in full plated armour of a crimson red colour, the sword straped to his back reached from the tip of his shoulders to the base of his feet and was the same shade of red as his armour. The girl on the left had a very much different set up, wearing a chilling blue armour that looked almost leathery in texture, by her side was a long firearm type weapon that she was currently tinkering about with. Everyone else was below deck, all preparing for what was to come.

Lack of sleep yesterday, distractions today. ^^;) ---------- A man sat silently below deck as he performed matinence on his weapon, not really looking around or talking to anyone. His armour was made up of Qurupeco materials and resembled the sort of thing a native american would wear, decorated with various colourful feathers from the beast. Qurupecos weren't really that big of a deal to some of the more seasoned hunters, causing some to question this hunter's abilities somewhat. However his weapon told a different story. It was a Switch Axe made up of various Lagiacrus materials, Switch Axes alone were a fairly new weapon amongst the hunter world and hard enough to obtain, but one made out of Lagicrus parts was even harder to come by. At any rate it showed that he had at least taken down one of those beasts in his lifetime, so why did he still have the Qurupeco Armour? This was mostly a stylistic choice on the hunter's part, we was aware that various more powerful amour was available, but he just liked the way this set looked. He was strange like that. He didn't know how much longer it would be until they reached their destination, but he was fine with keeping himself busy for the time being.

The female hunter called poining out over the bow of the ship, in the distance, just on the horizion a city could be seen, it looked like it was carved out of the very sand itself. "Loc Lac City," The male hunter mumbled to himself, "Never thought I would be back here again." The male hunter gave a signal to the captain, who picked up a nearby horn and gave it a mighty blow, this was a signal for all the passengers that they will be arriving shortly. Loc Lac City came closer into view, the biuldings were warn by the fequent beating of the sandstorms that often swept over this place, but for now the weather was calm and sunny, reguardless of apperance this is the place they would call home for a very long time.

"I guess that means we're almost there." he said as he stood up and folded his weapon away, slinging it over his back. Heading above deck he took a look out to what was up ahead, a well known city among most hunters. Loc Lac City, a place that exists against all odds within an unforgiving desert. "Home sweet home eh?" the man thought to himself as he enjoyed the breeze flying through his hair, getting a little exicted as they approached their desitination.

Posts: 3,252 Group: =SB= Kings Member #9,868 Joined: March 28, 2009	The ship pulled into the habour, several men were waiting to help tie the boat to the pier while a handful of felyne were ready to start offloading supplies. From the deck of the ship, the onboard hunters could see clearly over most of the city, in among all the shabby huts and stalls that made up the vast majority of the city, other hunters could be seen either trading with the local shops, readying equiptment for the hunt or just sitting around talking to each other. The female hunter was the first off the boat, gleefully she pranced down the ramp and onto the dock, looking around like a small child in a sweet shop, the male hunter followed shortly, taking a more steady pace walk while having a conversation with the captain that was making his way behind him.

Ahead of him were three people, two looked like hunters while the other was the captian of the vessel, but he payed them no mind as he walked passed them after he set foot on the ground. He yawned slightly with a stretch as he looked around, scratching his chin a little. "Well... I suppose the first step would be for me to find the local Hunter's Guild branch around here." the man said as he looked around, there were hunters all over the place, making it hard to see much at all. However he soon spoted something that resembled a main street. "5 Jaggi scales says that'll lead me there." he added with a smirk as he began to make his way down the road.

"Where do you think your going, we got a ship to unload!" The captain was soon silenced by a firm slap on the back by the male hunter. "Forgive my friends rudness" His said with a welcoming bow to the newcomer, "He has little experiance dealing with people not under his command." The hunter extended his hand in greeting, "The names Ledge, the Captain is know as Therus, and that cute thing over there . . ." Seris pointed to the female hunter who was still dashing around the place in an excitied mood. "Thats Becky, So what brings you to our city?"

He knew he had nothing to do with the ship's unloading apart from his own belongings, and yet he still felt a little at fault here. However the hunter in blue soon eased his concerns with a polite smile and a bow, asking for a little forgiviness on behalf of the captain. "Oh... no problem at all..." he said with a slightly nervous laugh as the hunter introduced the three as Ledge, Therus and Becky. As not to seem rude he got on with introducing himself. "Nice to meet you Ledge, I go by Axthann," the hunter replied with a grin as he stood a little taller, his confidence seemly back. "I heard Loc Lac was the place all the great Hunters wind up in eventually, so I figured I'd come and test my mettle y'know?" he said with a laugh, looking towards the ship. "Uh... did you still need my help with the unloading Cap'n? I can help if you really need me to." he added with bit of a grin.

"If your truly a hunter then you have better go and prepare for the festival." He didn't wait for a responce before heading back into the ship, giving Ledge a friendly wave goodbye as he did do. Ledge picked up a large create that was on the floor next to him, it smelt strongly of fish but that didn't seem to matter to him to much. "Hey Becky!" He called over to the girl, "Come over here and say hello will ya!". With that the female hunter snapped out of her child-like trance and headed over to the group, still sporting a big grin on her face.

He then turned his attention back to Ledge who was now holding a crate that had an odd smell to it, kind of like fish. He then called out to his friend Becky so she could say hello, Axthann simply raised a hand with a smile. "Hey there, Axthann." he said with a nod in her direction, his brief intro getting right to the point. "So Ledge... what's this festival thing Therus mentioned earlier? This is the first I've heard of it." he asked with a slightly uncertain expression on his face, he was litterally unaware of it up until now.
