I'm just saying it's gonna be a while before the fun part's up. If I'd known there would be so many setbacks, I seriously would've waited to post this. \|: Sorry guys. Slavery. They are all slaves, working hard to please their master. One wrong move gets them whipped and beaten. Only the strong survive, and the weak are left to rot in the shackles that chain them to the others. They have learned to ignore the stench and sight. If one dies, that means more bread for the others. Things had not always been that way. No, many of the older ones feel unsatisfied, as though there was another time they could compare this with. Most push it from their minds, however. It was either too long ago to remember or they no longer care - after all, this is the new reality. No one can escape their king. One does remember. He does not know whether or not he is the only one, but he remembers. Long ago, Sonic was a great hero. He saved the world from the terror of robots brought by a different evil overlord. He helped everyone restore the world and recover its beauty. He and his siblings were together, enjoying the peace on Mobius. That didn't last. Something changed Sonic. He became the king of the world, and he chose to abuse it. Now he rules the land with an iron fist, enslaving the ones who oppose him and putting his followers in charge of them. Certain people have hidden, out of sight of the Commander groups that try to take them. Secret villages dot the world, full of people who despise the king, but are so out of touch that they can't do anything. Sonic has set up his own cities around the globe as well. His most faithful followers are in charge of them. Telephone lines connect all of the cities to the king, giving him full control of everything. Manic is the one who hates him most. The resentment and betrayal runs deep within him. Sonic is his brother. Was his brother. Manic refuses to be related to someone he despises so much. The slaves live under a roof propped up over a splintery floor by five wooden beams - one on each corner and one in the middle. There are so many holes in the roof that it's hardly any shelter from rain. The slaves get two meals a day - if a loaf of bred for two hundred slaves could be called that - along with two buckets of water with each one. More often than not, the weaker slaves get nothing, which only makes them weaker. The Commanders, of course, get all of the luxuries - comfortable beds, good food, and ample time to rest. They awaken early in the day and take the slave groups to the areas they will work in, and they take shifts throughout the day as the slaves work so that they can rest. The few Commanders who try to go against Sonic and help the slaves, even by handing one a slice of bread, get taken to the dungeon and locked up. Whose side are you on? Basic rules No godmodding. You can't control anyone else's character. Refrain from one-liners. This is going in the advanced section. Follow the main rules, of course. Take as many characters as you can handle. I advise no more than two or three. I'm an exception; I'm supposed to use a lot of characters in this role-play. No godmodding. Official characters are allowed, but only one per person. I don't count, since I kinda have to control both Manic and Sonic. Powers, however, are not allowed. Sorry, but there's no magic here. Not even super strength, though your character can be really strong if you like. Did I mention no godmodding? Here's the app. Application [Commander or Slave] Name: Gender: Species: Age: Appearance: (Physical characteristics) Attire: (Clothing) Personality: Backstory: (Make it brief. Been a slave all his life; used to be a stonemason; whatever. A sentence or two describing what the character was doing before Sonic took over (or a sentence saying that the character's been a slave/Commander his whole life).) Mine profiles. I was gonna put them in another post, but I forgot that doesn't work. I'm so used to other forums xD; [Slave] Name: Manic the Hedgehog Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Age: 40 Appearance: A green hedgehog with messed-up hair and icy blue eyes. He looks young and muscular for his age. A deep scar runs from the left side of his forehead and snakes down his left cheek, ending at the bottom of his jaw. Attire: A tattered, reddish-orange vest with blood and dirt stains all over it, once vibrant red-and-white shoes, torn and stained white gloves, black spiked wristbands, and the two tarnished gold earrings on his left ear. Personality: Once easygoing and good-natured, the former kleptomaniac known as Manic is now a more hardened individual with a dry sense of humor. He still has a small spark of hope, but he has a feeling that a revolution isn't going to happen in his lifetime. Despite this, Manic remains persistent in everything he does. Backstory: Manic used to be Sonic's brother and partner in saving the world. [Commander] Name: Sonic Gender: Male Species: Hedgehog Age: 40 Appearance: A blue hedgehog with well-kept quills and green eyes. Attire: Sonic tends to dress in a dark-colored cape, still wearing his old white gloves and red shoes with white straps. Old habits die hard. Personality: A once heroic and kind hedgehog, Sonic is now sinister and cunning. As always, he is constantly persistent and hates waiting for things. He can be fairly manipulative. Backstory: Sonic used to be the hero of Mobius. [Commander] Name: Scratch Gender: Male Species: Mink Age: 27 Appearance: A dark brown mink with a long tail and bright brown eyes with a glint of mischievousness. Attire: The blue military-style uniform all Commanders wear. He also enjoys wearing the headbands he keeps under his mattress. Personality: Scratch tends to be a nice person to hang around. He does his job, but he occasionally chats with the slaves as well, when no one is looking. He also knows much about health and diseases to the point that other Commanders seek him out for their medical queries. He smiles a lot. Backstory: Scratch was only seven when Sonic took over. He wanted to be a doctor. [Commander] Name: Tusk Gender: Male Species: Dog (Husky) Age: 39 Appearance: A typical gray-and-white husky. He has green eyes. Attire: Tusk wears the typical Commander uniform. He often wears a locket with a picture of his family inside under his uniform. Personality: Tusk is gruff and stern, but mostly kind. He tells other Commanders to do their jobs well simply because he is worried for their well-being under their cruel ruler. He secretly harbors feelings of resentment toward Sonic. Backstory: Before Sonic took over, Tusk was a history teacher. He is harsh and cruel, often beating the slaves for no reason other then pleasure. Backstory: Seen as a tyrant before Sonic rose to power, he now has a comfortable role serving the new regime. She hates it when other are in her way and likes doing things solo. Yukiko only cares about herself and her family and could care less about anyone else. Appearance: She's a tall white artic fox with long silver hair that goes half way down her back. She's also wearing a sky blue kimono with white flower patterns all over it. Back story: Yukiko had lived in the ice cap zone for almost all her life now. When she had heard Sonic became the king her home was invaded. Sonic's orders were to kidnap her family and herself. She didn't like the idea too much and told her family to run off and go somewhere safe where they couldn't find them. She was then kidnapped and taken back as a slave. Yukiko's goal now is to set herself free and kill Sonic and not care what happpens to anyone else.

Change the backstory to something like being a blacksmith's son who lived in a village that got captured by Sonic, add the [Slave] tag to the beginning of the profile, and space after your punctuation and you're in. <3 Claw - I approve. Ike - Any relation to Tails? Lol. You're in. Yukiko - Sweetness. Accepted. Sorry for ignoring this thread for a while. Stuff was going on. I'll start the main thread in a few days. <3

Commanders Name: Teufel and Tart Gender: Teufel- Male Tart- Female Species: Artificial Hedgehogs Age: Phyiscally 20 Appearance: http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2093/scartchandtart.png Backstory: Teufel and Tart are twin hedgehogs witch were corrupted and had demon-like appearance and sudden violent urges to kill. Because of that GUN(the projects was ordered by them) terminated the project, leaving the two in suspended animation in seperate tubes. Eventually they escaped, wanting revenge on GUN and humanity for not caring. (They did not know that the public had no knowledge of the two.) And I mentioned that this is set on Mobius - that means no GUN and humans are a minor species. Sorry if it wasn't clear <3

His fur is mostly of a bright beige color, with the exception of his muzzle, which is a darker shade of beige; his eyes are dark brown and he has a bit of shaggy, short hair. A tiny piece of his right ear was apparently sliced off, and there are scars on his back from the times he's been whipped. Attire: Black baggy shirt covered in a bit of dirt and missing its left sleeve, while the right sleeve is somewhat torned. Torn gashes on the back of his shirt reveal most of his scars. He also has long, black, baggy pants with scratches all about. Personality: Purl is usually reserved, serious and quiet, but can talk up a storm if need be. Though a bit quick to judge and jump to conclusions, he is fairly noble and caring, though stubborn like hell. He always pushes himself into trying to do better than he actually can, even if he is obviously humbled by the opposing force. Background: He used to run a coffee shop with his aunt and was studying to become a lawyer before Sonic took over. And adapted version of a character of mine. May add another.
