I don't know whether I should create a new topic about this or not. .-. Seeing as the old topic is dead, posting there will just get that one locked, so...

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is... actually getting a pretty good response, which is good, because it's an awesome game. It's a LOT more fast paced than Riders, and would be even more awesome if it had a story. Then again, crossover games really could do better without a storyline, so...

Yeah. I've got the game for PS3. Anybody else have it? Feedback?

Got metal Sonic and Death Egg.

One word:

Awesome.

The stage has the music for Egg Fleet, Space Gadget, Cosmic Fall, General Offensive, and it also has Never Let It Go (which is the Metal Sonic theme song in Sonic the Fighters and my favorite music track int he game alongside the Sonic vs. Knuckles theme) And the stage itself is great. Reminds me of Sonic Drift 2 a bit. : D (say what you want about the first one, but I kind of enjoyed Drift 2)

Tho' Metal's acceleration is a bit low for being Metal. To be honest, I was kinda of expecting him to use himself as a vehicle, like Opa-Opa. It certainly would've worked.

This is definitely a good game. My little brothers have it and I've played it somewhat. Like people have already said, however, the levels do get a bit samey. Also, the game is a bit too easy. Nevertheless, its fun to play with others and being able to purchase your favourite songs from different games is pretty cool.

This game can't be compared to mariokart really, its just a cheap rip off. Although sonic does seem to try and copy Mario much more these days, sega superstar tennis being a good example.
Still fun, but not in the league of MarioKart

The idea of sonic driving a car is lol anyway, he could easily run faster than one
Why must BIG the cat continue to chase me, I WANT TO BE FREE!
GO AWAY BIG!!!

Why do you think I run off everytime he fishes me up in Sonic Adventure!

Maybe the reason he's driving a car is so he can fairly compete with people. Hell, if I could run faster than the speed of sound, I'd be bored out of my mind always leaving my opponents in the dust for every time I entered a race.

I object to your claims
^Exactly. If he just went on foot the whole way, Sonic would be a very broken character in the game.

Indeed. People tend to be more concerend with picking things apart then thinking on a larger scale on him running on his own.
