This is pretty much one of Nickelodeons best animated series ever, the only other two that are on the same level or better is Avatar: The Last Airbender and Ren & Stimpy. Are their any fans of the show on here? I just got "Invader Zim: Complete Invasion" DVD set and can't wait to watch it. I never finished watching the series because I watched it when it first came on Nick, and they would move the time slot for it so much I couldn't keep up with it. Nicktoons finally decided to start airing it again (they just started this month I believe,) so if you haven't seen it you should start watching it XD

So anyone else aside from me watch this?

OH MY CHAOS GODS YES. Invader Zim is like, the BEST CARTOON EVER...aside from Freakazoid.

Man, I really miss that show, it's a damn shame they canceled it. It was just pure epic win. So completely random, so completely hilarious...
To this day, GIR cracks me up.
Zim too, obviously. Those two are like the best comedy duo ever.

My favorite episode is by far 'ZIM EATS WAFFLES'. That episode was just so crazy. xDD

When I was young and stupid, I hated the show, mostly because I never really watched it.

I guess it took age to realize how funny it actually was.

Haha, I agree. When it first came on I liked it, but really didn't understand half of the jokes, I guess because it was that dark and aimed for an older audience anyways.

Anyone have the Invader Zim House DVD set? Apparently it comes with a "bonus disk" I was wondering if it had some episodes that were in production on it. I heard their was quite a few episodes and a movie in the works, so that's why I was wondering.

I was so close to getting it, but then I realized that instead of spending 100 dollars on a plastic house, I could watch all of the episodes for free on netflix.

Best show ever.

Hell yes! Zim is one of the best things ever to appear on television. I still watch all three volumes of dvds and it hasn't gotten old.

Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim, says what he would have done if the series continued in this interview. I thought I'd share it with you guys:

Quote:

In an IGN interview, when asked that "had the series continued, would Zim have been able to conquer Earth?", Jhonen Vasquez jokingly responded "Ultimately, my idea was to take his sights off world domination, as ZIM begins to understand that there is a beauty in human life, an understanding that sets him on his path to becoming a public legal defender. I was very inspired by Ben Affleck's powerful courtroom scenes in Daredevil, and I wanted to move people to tears like those scenes moved me. But the show was canceled before any of that, thus leaving our audience of ten unfulfilled.", leaving possibilities of Zim's fate towards the end of the series open.

Hmm, that's very interesting, but... I just don't see the "beauty of human life" ever getting through Zim's thick Irken skull.

Haha yeah, I agree. But I'm sure they could have made it work. Especially if that's the way he intended it all along.

Invader Zim is, no doubt, the most popular show on Nick. Then they JUST recently realized that. >.>; So now that it's back on the air for some time, I will watch it whenever there is an episode on.....Except for the episode "Dark Harvest" that one has still creeped me out through the bone. ._.

I love that episode. It's amazing they ever got clearance to air on it Nickelodeon, considering it borders on a horror film sometimes.

Zim as a lawyer?

I'm thinking Vasquez was trolling with that answer!

Haha, yeah. It says he "jokingly responded," so he prolly was just messing with the person interviewing him... Or maybe he just wants us to think that... XD

I loved that show, and I love Avatar as well.

EDIT: I can totally hear Zim saying "It's not stupid, it's advanced!"
