It's a fun game, sure, but I feel most of the Sonic games I've played are superior. Just like how I find SA1 overrated. :^D shot But yeah, Sonic went through a bit of a line of "failure" games from 2004-2007, (even tho' I still liked most all of them) but starting in 2008, they got better. Unleashed and Zero Gravity were great, and All-Stars Racing... Oh GOD, don't even get me started on the AWESOMENESS that is that game. Sonic Colours looks promising, and Sonic 4 looks pretty good too. I think Sonic's looking toward a bright future.

(with the exception of secret rings) I enjoyed them all. (again, with the exception of secret rings, it sucked)

Sure, he's had a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that would ruin the series. Almost exactly how I was going to put it actually. But yeah, I love just about all the new Sonic games, sure some have their glitches and haters, but I can work around the glitches, and the haters can just do whatever they want, I don't care or listen to them. Honestly, Sonic and the Black Knight was probably my 2nd favorite, even over Unleashed suprisingly, only because you could play as Shadow (or Lancelot). 1st. Sonic Riders 1 2nd. Sonic and the Black Knight 3rd. Sonic Sega All Stars Racing 4th. Sonic Unleashed

Member #4,279 Joined: December 13, 2007	I love the modern Sonic a lot better than the classic one, however, if you make a game and label it Sonic 4, it should be a classic Sonic. The fact that Sonic has appeared in two different forms at two different times has caused controversy when the "retcon" goes back in time. But I prefer the modern Sonic. I just like the old Sonic for a classical game... but why are we discussing this here again? If it's to say that the modern Sonic is a positive, then I agree, if and only if the game is made modern.

Mushroom Hill Act 1 Posts: 450 Group: C Rank Knight Member #10,377 Joined: September 25, 2009	why does everyone hate on shadow the hedgehog? it isint a terrible game, like many of you act like. the only real flop the franchise has had was '06, and that was because they were forced to get it out by christmas, and didnt have time to fix it.

The only thing about it that I didn't like was that it was really hard to stay 100% evil.

Most of the Modern Sonic games have great CG-animated Cut scenes, which makes me think Sega could make a Sonic Movie if they work hard and perfect it. Also, I have little complaints about the series, it's pretty much the one series I never feel disappointed in because of every time I hear of a new game it makes me so happy. EDIT: I just thought of how awesome it would be if they pulled off a 10 min. animated Sonic short with Sonic fighting Metal... Edited by Sonic 2, Jul 1 2010, 10:32 AM.
