Chaos Emerald Posts: 691 Group: S Rank Knight Member #746 Joined: March 19, 2007	Story: Many years ago, reaching back passed 100 years, a strong demon had a secret. He made a deal with a earthling, something very uncommon. The uncommon thing about this deal, was that the demon himself didn't present it. Normally a demon would be the one making the offer. However, an earthling, part of a organization that hunted and killed demons, struck a deal with this demon after a long and weary battle. This earthling was the master and overseer of the entire demon hunting clan. Yet, everyone knew he was not to be tested. This person was evil at heart, and only searched for more power. So instead of killing the demon as he should have, he offered the demon a chance to live, only if the demon helped him gain more power. Now, this person was smart, and knew that this strong demon wasn't to be trusted. So together, they would create a large gem that would grant the user great power. However, the only way this large gem would be activated, is if smaller powerful gems were feed into it. The evil clan leader was sure to become stronger now. In order to keep his evil deed a secret, he ordered the demon to scatter the seven gems and the large one, that way he would need to search for them, leaving his clan to believe they always existed and that they needed to find them before anyone else got their hands on them. Time went on, and only three gems were found. The clan was very careful and afraid of the gems. Even though some wished to use the power within the gems, they were told is was dark power and tainted by evil. One day, a member of the clan grabbed one of the smaller gems and tried to use it when a large demon came and breached their HQ. However, the person couldn't use the gem. It seemed just like a normal shiny gem with no powers at all. The attacking demon laughed and mocked them, informing them that only demons could use these gems. However, the demon was wrong. Not even the demon could use its powers. The evil clan leader was angered by this information. Though he was satisfied that the demon or that member of his clan could use the gem, he felt that the demon who helped him create the gems tricked him. Once that demon was defeated, the evil leader raced off to pay the demon over lord a visit. He questioned the demon, only to get a mocking reply. The demon informed the earthling that only certain demons can activate the gems and use it to their will. He also informed the evil leader that he wasn't one of those demons. He did this so the earthling wouldn't capture random demons and use them like rats or pets. The evil leader threatened the demon over lord, but the demon would not speak of the demon that could use the gems. Finally, after another harsh battled, the evil leader brought the demon to a state of near death. At this point, the demon opened his mouth to speak of the demon's name. However, the demon burst into black dust. Now, the evil leader seeks out these demons in hopes to capture them an force them to activate the gems for his use. Plot: Your demon guy is one of the demons that can use these gems. I will also being using a demon character that can use these gems, as well as a demon hunter. Posts: 5,102 Group: C Rank Legend Member #9,446 Joined: October 22, 2008	Name - Demon Age - (since there demons there age can be exaggerated right?) 152 Species - Demonic hedgehog Gender - Male Powers - Ability to control raging fire and lava. Demonic flare: Depending on the energy put into it the bigger the blast, the bigger the faster and stronger. Pillar of fire: A pillar mixed with fire and lava emerges under the victim. Fires of hell: Hands become engulfed in flames allowing fire damage to be done to victim. Demon control: User become enraged to a point where there's no calming him down, Attack, Strength, Defence and speed are all increased. Weapons - Claws (apart of him) Sword of hell, his own custom sword. Appearance - Red horns, black body, Red and black wings with gray claws. Blood covered fangs. Hows that? also you gonna start the story or am I?

A sword that can break up into smaller swords, or form a really large one. Appearance - Name - Grim Age - 30 Species - Human Gender - Male Powers - Stronger and faster then the average human, soul/spirit bending Weapons - Death Sword Appearance - If you want, you can start it off. If not then I'll start it off.

Grim was standing at the edge of cliff, looking down the valley as the man calling him joined his side. "Grim, we've spotted another demon. Tensin requested that you handle this one. I think she mentioned that their might be a a second one in that area." The man told Grim, but he simply remained silent after the man spoke. Without saying a word, Grim turned around and started to leave. "Umm, Grim! Tensin ordered that you capture the two demons as well!" Having heard this, Grim stopped walking. "Don't you think it's a bit odd that we're suddenly catching these demons, instead of killing them?" Grim asked, his voice almost a soft yet stern tone. The man couldn't think of anything to say in response to this. "Grim?" He questioned, to which Grim started to walk again. "I'm a demon hunter. Killing demons is what I was trained to do, not capture them." Grim informed as he continued to walk away. The man couldn't say anything, he was speechless and felt like he had failed. Tensin isn't going to like to hear that Grim went off to kill the demons instead of capturing them. Inside a town, Hix sat on a building. His fingers dripped with blood as he licked them, as if he just finished eating. "Hes late..." Hix spoke, looking around the town as no one noticed him just yet. However, he already caused a bit of a commotion a few blocks down. "You'd think he'd be here by now, being a hedgehog of his standards." He continued to speak to himself as he sat on the building. "I hate waiting..." He growled lowly, noticing that he licked his fingers clean, which angered him a bit since he now only could wait for Demon to show up.

Demon flapped his wings as he stood next to Hix, which soon retracted into his body. "Waiting for me?" Demon chuckled. "So what shall we do today..." Demon asked putting his claws together to make a mirror, looking at his blood stained fangs for any body parts that might have remained from his morning snack. He whistled, "mmm.... nothing there... good then I'm ready to do what ever it is we're going to do!" He gave a small chuckle.

"As much as I love playing tag with the earthlings, or seeing who could kill the most in said time span, I was actually given a bit of information." He starts off, thinking back to the conversation he had with another demon. "Word has it, that there these gems with immense power stored in there. Its said that only a selected few demons could actually use these gems, while others can not." He informed, thinking of gaining such a great power. "A few demons already tried, but failed. The first was a idiot, breaking one of the Demon Hunter's Head Quarters and trying to use the gem. Nothing happened, and he died." He adds, then looked at Demon for a moment. "I believe we should test our fate with such a tale. There is a Demon Hunter HQ not too far from here. They have one of the gems that has this great power... I say we see if one of us can obtain the power within that gem." He informed, really wanting the gem for himself and wanting himself to be the one to get that power.

"I'm sorry, did you say something?" Demon smiled. "Sure... but what happens if one of us are able to use this gem?" Demon asked, his smiled disappeared. "Are you going to act as if you're the new overlord?" Demon asked taking a step forward, "Because as much as I value you as an acquaintance I simply cannot allow you to suddenly start pushing me around as your lackey..." Demon smiled, showing his fangs. "Lets agree on this, if either one of us are able to use this 'gem' then neither of us act as a higher power over the other, just because we can wipe the floor with them..." He clenched his fist as his claws retracted, "Are we clear on this?" He asked folding his arms.

There is only choices, and which ones will benefit your goal. I think it a wise choice keeping you around, should I obtain this power. It be best if your were acting on your own free will, then me forcing you as a slave. However, should a moment come when I'd have to choose which is a better choice for my own goal, then a slave you shall be. I'd expect the same from you. Which reminds me." Hix informed looking off towards the busy street below. "You've been surrounding yourself with those earthling far too long. Even your thoughts are being corrupted, thinking we're as civil and dimwitted as they are... This concerns me, as well as the our new overlord." He adds, then looks off in the direction of the HQ. "Either way, one of us is going to get that gem. Its best that we work together on getting it." Then, as if a thought popped into his mind, he paused and thought for a moment. "I've been around longer then you have, therefore, they will see me coming and know who I am. I'll be the distraction while you find the location of the gem. Once its found, should not be in the area, take it as your own." He tells Demon, then started to form his dark clouds sword, which took the shape of a thunder small cloud. He hopped on it, and faced the direction the HQ was. "I was informed that trying to use the gems power can also kill a demon. I'll to find more information on this, and that HQ must have a bit of information on these gems." He thought, waiting for Demon to follow him to HQ.

Demon smiled. "But if you are able to use the gem and at some point you are to force me to be your slave... I won't go without a fight..." Demon smiled, expanding his wings as Hix jumped onto his dark clouds sword. They flapped once and again harder as he slowly rose from the building, He flapped them in the oppisite direction of the HQ, pushing him forward towards it. "So you create a distraction while I grab the gem? Seems like you're hogging all the fun... how bout when we get the gem... even if we can't use it... Cause a bit of destruction?" Demon smiled. "I just love to watch and listen to humans scream..." He gave Hix a psychotic smile.

However, I don't think they are simply going to just let us destroy that place. As well, we haven't the time to. Remember, we're the out numbered ones here, not them. Be wise about how you proceed through this place. This isn't just a HQ, it is a HQ filled with trained demon hunters of all sorts. Don't think of them to be so weak." He informed they made their way towards HQ. However, Hix's eyes widen as a odd feeling came over him, almost like a spirit energy rush pass through him. He came to a immediate halt and looked down below. What he saw caused great anger to rise within him. "Griiiiiiiimmmm..." He growled lowly as his eyes set upon the demon hunter walking through the street. "Go on, I have something to tend to first... I'll be there shortly, so don't be careless." He informed, then suddenly hopped off his sword cloud and formed it into a fairly large blade. However, once he touched down on the roof, the demon hunter was no where to be seen. "Damn! He felt my presence! I'll have to track him down now." He thought, then rushed off, leaping from one roof top to another. (So! Just head to the HQ, arrive there, I'll throw some demon hunters your way, and you'll meet up with another demon that will help you and so on. )

He smiled. after a few minutes of flying he reached the base, but a few miles away from it. "Though messing with humans is fun... I'll have to take word of what Hix had said... These human's aren't so fragile and weak as normal ones..." He licked his claws, smiling at his reflection. "Time to get this over with... That gem is mine!" A spark came from his hand, a few others and suddenly his hands were engulfed in flames. "Time to teach these humans the TRUE meaning of hell..." His wings expanded once more and he flew towards them at amazing speeds. Meanwhile inside the base. "Sir we're getting reading of Demonic activity... It's.. It's headed towards the base!" He informed, the commander looked at the screen, "Probably some cocky Demon thinking he can take us on by himself... Send out some troops..." He directed, some walkie talkies vibrated, a few troops answered it and laughed. "lets go kick some demon ass!" They said grabbing their equipment. The troops ran outside of the base, looking around. One of them, confused as he was seeing nothing, he grabbed his walkie talkie. "Sir we don't see any Demons around at all..." Demon appeared behind him, slowly, smiled, one of the men noticed him and shouted. "Look out behind you!" Demon sliced the soldiers back, who quickly drew his gun and began shooting at Demon, who flew past like a sonic jet.

More shouts and screams came from inside, until a large demon burst through the wall as it flung several more low ranked demon hunters. "Firon!! Its Firon!! Hold him off until our leaders reach us!!" One of the demon hunters shouts, seeing the large demon that stood about 10 feet tall. The demon simply swatted him away as more attacked him. He surged his body with hot lava and releases a burst of fire upon them, to which them screamed until the flames consumed them. "Demon." Firon spoke, turning his attention to hedgehog demon as he spoke with a low and deep voice. "You wouldn't be here for this gem now would you?" He asked, holding up the gem within his grasp. He then closed his fist around it and waited for a reply.

"Yes... as a matter of fact I am looking for that. So if you'd be so kind as to give it to me I'll be on my way." Demon smiled showing his fangs. "unless you want me to take it from your ape sized hands..." He chuckled as the fire that covered his hands and claws disappeared. Demon walked towards Firon, stopping 20 feet away from him.

He then shrugged, and tossed the gem up and down a few times. "It doesn't work." He spoke, catching it the last time and looking at it again. "Why would you want something that doesn't work?" He questioned, then looked at Demon for a moment before speaking. "I heard of a tale, that only certain demons can use these gems... I wasn't sure if that was true, but I guess it is if your out here looking for this." He adds, shaking his head afterward as he continued to speak. "But like I said, it doesn't work... Not for you anyways, cause I already used its power." He informed as his body started to glow a yellowish color. A light wavy aura flowed off of his skin as he held the gem in his hand. Suddenly, the aura snapped as a loud slashing noise was heard. Firon jerked his head back as a large sword ripped up the center of his body from behind him. Firon roared in pain and suddenly explodes into pieces of flames. The gem fell to the ground, but was caught by a demon hunter, the one who just killed the large demon. His sword formed into a normal sword, making it seem like it can expand the size of its blade. "One down... One more to go." The demon hunter spoke with a twisted smile. "The names Kaze, and if you want this gem, your going to have to take it from me." He informed as the flames from the dead demon swirled into a stream of spirit energy and rushed into the gem, making it glow for a bit, then settle to its natural yellow color. " Huh, so if a demon dies while having used the gem, their powers and spirit energy goes into the gem, making the gem a hell of a lot stronger." He thought, then tucked the gem away and gripped his katana firmly.
