As soon as he stepped onto the sand, the sky seemed to transition from bright blue to gray. Snow and harsh winds started to suddenly come out of nowhere. System Alert: Abnormal Ambient Temperature Drop Detected Then the cold came on. The fox hugged his arms against his body and shivered, starting to raise his core temperatures. |

Jax had to try very hard to ignore the raging blizzard going on around him. She appeared to be a very winter-accustomed dog, perhaps a husky, so he didn't want to seem like a pansy in front of her. No, he'd already built up quite the manly persona, and complaining about some out of place snow would completely ruin the act. He simply swallowed all protests and attempted to stop himself from shivering. As the husky stepped up to leave, Jax recognized an opportunity to take another step forward in his "mating dance". "Yes, we should get inside. Perhaps we can continue our conversation in the parlor over drinks?" offered Jax, quite smoothly. Aww yeah. Jax Perro, cat extraordinaire, goes for the jugular when it comes to lady types. |

Miles was through with short-sleeving it in this strange blizzard. An electronic signal sent to the 'backpack' on his back prompted it to change its form, shifting into the various components of his Cy-Fox armor suit, which joined with his body at the proper segments and locked into a solid form. Much better he thought, lowering his core temperatures slightly. He looked up in the air and then down at the beach. There seemed to be a gathering of sorts. Zooming in on them, he noted that it consisted of two cats, a dragnic, a dog, a wolf, and three hedgehogs (one confined to a wheelchair). He continued to move in their direction. |

He suddenly heard someone mention a blizzard, but he simply sighed, "Meh, I'm sick of being here anyway," he thought as he tossed whatever was left of his snack in a nearby trash can. After he had done that, he began to make his way out of the beach area. However when he did leave the beach there was one thing on his mind: what would he do or go to next? "Screw it, I'll just go back to my room," he thought and began walking in the direction of the hotel he was staying in. It was by this time he felt the blizzard descend upon the area, yet still no real change in the actual temperature. He realized that it merely seemed cold because he was being pelted by the blizzard, but he had also noticed the snow from it melted shortly when it hit the concrete ground and hot grass. |

Jax wasn't blind to body language. It was obvious things were quickly going down hill. She's probably too flustered by my manhood to talk right now. Can't blame her. I am a manly stud after all. "Oh, then I guess we can talk later. In the mean time, lion boy and I have some unfinished business, and some freaky weird blizzard isn't going to forestall the massive asskicking he has coming to him. Ciao!" Jax bid farewell with a curt wave. He had this one in the bag, but that wasn't about to stop him from kicking pretty boy Simba's liony ass. He stood up from his chair very slowly, cracking his knuckles in doing so. "Alright ya slow witted rectal belch. First I was just going to embarrass you a little bit. But then you interrupted one of my conversations with a lady type whose number I ultimately intended to get. Now I suppose I'll just have to beat the shit out of you so you know not to stick your head where it doesn't belong, comprende?" proposed Jax, dropping into a fake "Za Warudo" stance just in case Blaire still happened to be watching. "I DON'T TAKE SHIT FROM SCROTUM LICKERS LIKE YOU, SIMBA! SO PREPARE FOR ME TO PUT MY FOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS MY KNEE WILL BE QUENCHING YOUR THIRST!" Jax' visage then flickered in and out of view amongst the heavy snowfall. The cat skulked around around silently, rapidly alternating between fast and slow movements in an effort to confuse the lion due to the fluidity of motion and continuously changing speed of his little technique. This oughta throw him for a loop. The only way he'll have a chance of hitting me is if he watches for the exact moment I intend to strike. But he's enough of a dumbass to the point where I doubt he knows shit about I'm doing, so I've got absolutely nothing to worry about. |

(I believe I waited long enough.  )Rolo simply shook his head, knowing this wasn't the time for a fight. As well, this fool that he was clever, trying to show off and not taking into account on whom he is facing. Rolo spent years hunting and fighting strange and odd things when he was stuck in the Lion Crown Gem. He fought things that would only exist in fairy tales, and things with immense power. Something as simple as changing one's speed while hiding within a snow storm was easy to follow. What made it so easy was that this blizzard wasn't a real blizzard, it was just snow being tossed around by a heavy wind, a heavy wind that wasn't cold surprisingly. However, before the lion could even think of an attack, the snow stopped, along with the whipping wind. Rolo was shocked, looking at the clear blue sky as a breeze blew by. However, something was different. The beach looked different. It wasn't the same. As well, the people around them seemed to be wearing out date clothing. The building structures looked newer and less wear and tear. After realizing all of this, what shocked him the most, was three figures at the edge of the beach. "Lio?... And Shi?" Rolo questioned, watching the two of them search for something alone beach. His mind was completely off of the feline, leaving him very much open. ========= "Well..." Derrak comments, looking up slowly as the odd blizzard seemed to stop. "I think we're good." He adds, letting go of Starlight as he looked around. "Did we... Move?" He questioned, noticing some changes around the place. The symbol on his forehead glowed an odd blue color, then it settled back down to it's normal white color. He looked up for a moment, trying to look at the symbol on his forehead. "Hey, what did it just do?" Derrak asked Starlight, seeing as she would be able to see the symbol more then him. ============= (Still holding on Kirby, I have something planned for him. NOTE: If you hadn't notice, everyone is now in the past. Where and when is up to you, but it has to be somewhere in your past that is in your back story. Heck, I'll even allow private rps being something of the past. Anyways, dead families are no longer dead, bad guys come back alive, school mates, bullies, ect. Go wild, in a sense-able way.) |

Blaire sighed deeply at Jax's actions, placing a gloved paw upon her forehead. "Cocky idiot," the canine thought, rolling her eyes. She would have cheered the lion to pummel Jax, but she wasn't quite sure if he was actually going to battle the feline. The dog glanced around-perhaps Aurora was somewhere. Blaire found the young wolf chatting with a fox cofined to a wheelchair, but not before something else caught her eyes. The Siberian Husky noticed quickly that the blizzard had stopped, but that wasn't the surprising thing. What was surprising, was that, at least from Blaire's point of view, they were no longer on a beach. Instead, they were surrounded by buildings, a castle in the distance. A very familair castle. "Is that...Mobotropolis...?" ------------------------------------------ Aurora chuckled nervously when asked to play chess. "Well, I myself have never been all that great at that game. I'm more of an action girl anyway. But, I'm pretty sure we can find plenty of things that we'd both enjoy," the Timber Wolf told Lily. |

He dropped his guard! That asshat had this coming to him! Noticing the lion's attention had drifted elsewhere, Jax knew now was the ideal time to make his move. Leaping forward, the cat threw his entire body into and overhead kick aimed for the back of the lion's head. If it were to collide, said lion would slam into the ground and find himself rather stunned shortly thereafter. |

Starlight also let go of Darrak once the blizzard had ended. She looked around and noticed where they were seemed mighty familiar to her. She frowned and shuddered a bit, turning back to him. "I-I don't know where we went to...but it seems so familiar to me..." she said. Starlight looked up at his forehead as his symbol began to glow blue. "Huh? I never noticed that before. Does it usually do that?" she asked, raising one eyebrow. ~~~ Dark was also taken to somewhere else. But it wasn't anywhere near Darrak nor Satrlight. He was...in the middle of the woods. He immediately frowned and shoved his hands into his pockets once again. Hmph. Well this sucks. How in the world did I ended up here?! he thought. Then he suddenly heard a male scream. His ears perked up and squinted his eyes, seeing a large wildfire in the distance. "That voice sounds...familiar..." he muttered, running towards the fire. |

Would she even be able to play it correctly. The wolf too, grabbed a Knight from the checkered board. She was about to move it one space when Blaire came rushing up the two. "Aurora, you won't believe this!" "Belive what?" "We're no longer at the beach. We're in...Mobotropolis. Yes, I Mobotropolis, as in the way it was before the Coup!" The blizzard was suddenly gone, but he was still in the same place in Mobotropolis. Only now it was dark. He looked up in the air and saw that Mobius Minor, the planet's moon, was fully illuminated and it was not eclipsing the Mobia star. He rubbed the index finger of his right hand against his armored temple and frowned. The date and time were properly updated. First a weird blizzard and now a time jump? Could he have caused it by accident? Querying current core status Primary: Malestrom v1.0 - ALL SYSTEMS NORMAL Secondary: Cyclone v1.5 - ALL SYSTEMS NORMAL, TELEPORTATION CIRCUIT MANUALLY DISABLED The teleportation system that Cyclone drove depended on a reaction of particles called chronotoms. An unexplained reaction had thrown some very strange temporal events into place close to the end of 2111. Which was why the circuit was manually disabled. So he wasn't the origin. Miles rubbed his chin and looked down at the beach. There were bonfires set up at random intervals with clusters of humans and Mobians gathered around them. He engaged Zoom Mode and noted that they were mainly in military uniforms. The Mobians of course were uniformed to the standards of their respective branch of the Mobian Republican Armed Forces. The humans had many unique services which were seconded to the United Nations, which explained the blue armbands on their uniforms. As he considered his situation, a hand crept up onto his shoulder and squeezed it. The reaction was immediate. Miles let go of his chin and used his right hand to grab the newcomer's own hand and squeezed hard. "Yow!", an accented voice said. Male. British or British Commonwealth "Wot the bloody 'ell!" The cyborg then threw the man over his shoulder onto his back, causing the man to yelp in pain. Miles examined him. He was in digital camouflage fatigues and wearing a black beret. A UN armband was on his left sleeve, with the familiar British Union Jack flag on its own respective armband beneath it. "Christ, you broke my arm you ruddy bast-" "Quiet!" the fox snapped. "Or I will break it." The soldier cut his complaints down to whimpers. He looked up at the armored form, looking for a UN armband and finding none. "Who the f-" "Commander Prower, First Cyborg Squad, MRN Special Reconnaissance Group." Miles said. It was a fabrication of course. Mobian cyborgs wouldn't come into the mainstream until around 2105. "Trooper Seward, SAS. You've got some nerve. You've got some serious ner-" The cyborg pulled the trooper up to his feet. "Sorry. We tend to get jumpy if someone taps us on our back without showing up on radar. What did you want?" "Well," Seward shook his arm around to test it. "I saw yo' standin' there by yourself and reckoned you'd like to share a drink with me and my mates. In th' name of 23 years of a lucrative partnership!" "I see," the fox hung his head slightly. "We might even find an echinda to drink with! Bit funny though, last week I'd rather be shootin' at one than drinkin' with one." "I have a friend who could say the same for humans," Miles said dryly. Trooper Seward then draped his injured arm around the fox's neck, and this time the fox didn't reject it. "Lead the way," |

((Sorry Blaire and everyone else. D:)) Lily saw that as well. She gasped, flailing her arms around from over excitement. "M-mobotropolis?" She wondered. "But...w-why here?" Then she knew why. Or, at least had a thought of why. Robotnik. She ignored the chess game, very confused why they were all here.... Then she saw Blaire, an old ally of hers. "H-hello, Blaire. S-so we meet a-again," she chuckled then had a smug look on her face. "W-where ya been? Ya missed all t-the excitement." Then she put the chess game away. "A-and look g-guys! S-stil snowing too!" |
