Sign Up Thread Vacation! A trip to the beach filled with excitement, fun, parties, romance, food, and lots and lots of friends and friendly stranger! The hotels are packed with people form everywhere! The sun is shining brightly and the water is nice and cold! Its summer time, the time of season that everyone can take a load off their backs and just relax. A time of fun, fellowship, and possibly love. Here, in this lovely and beautiful place, a group of selected people(our characters) will go on a journey like no other. Though they plan on relaxing and joining others in a some fun, their summer will be more then what they expected. High above the beach resort, a being stands in mid air. It's appearance is transparent, allowing the sun's rays to pass through it and not cast a shadow. It's eyes could faintly be seen, a swirl of purple and blue, and it's hair a ocean blue. It wore wore a long cloak that passed it's feet, making it hard to judge how tall this being actually is. It just stares, eying the furries and people below. It soon closed it's eyes, and vanished completely. (I'll start with this. For now, post your intro post and have fun.  )

Blaire Fields hated the heat. That burning feeling of being in the sun for too long, the way her fur felt so uncomfortabe after being drenched with sweat. Not to mention that heat of too high a caliber was not healthy in the least for the young canine. So why was she at a beach? Well, for what it's worth, beaches were rather fun places. It was Aurora who had talked her into spending a week by the shore. The husky hesitated at first, wondering what they would do about thier jobs as O.R.D agents. Aurora told Blaire not to worry, saying things would be fine without them. And now, here they were, ready for some summer fun. |

Derrak had already arrived at the beach. He put his suite/armor in his suitcase, as he would be extremely hot in it. As well, he would sink faster then a cannon ball should he want to swim a bit. With his towel tossed onto his shoulder, and suitcase in one hand, the dragon like furry was ready for some summer fun. However, he had no one to spend wonder and awesome time with. Hopefully, all that would change, and he would meet someone he could possibly fall in love with. "Ha! What am I thinking!?" He spoke to himself, smiling brightly as he marched onward to the nice hotel. "I'll relax and have fun even without a pretty girl to stare at. Besides, the chances of finding someone that will put up with me are slim! And its not like I stay in one place anyways. Ha! Let the good times roll!" He hypes himself up, jumping a bit before he went into a nice jog towards towards hotel. ============ (I'll throw in Rolo later) |

Lily the Cat was at the beach, struggling to wheel through the sand. "d-darn sand...s-so hard to g-get through..." she mumbled to herself. She flailed her arms, a sign of her metal problems. Her suitcase was in the back of her wheelchair, filled with clothes, sunscreen, toothbrush, CD's, ect. She was wearing a pink tank top with an orange and pink skirt with orange sandals. She was still trying to get through the sand, her wheelchair stuck. She kept flailing her arms, hoping she would get attention. Then she thought of an idea. "Hello? A-anybody h-here? H-help!" She yelled out. Then she wondered, 'why was she at a beach?' it didn't make sense.... Then she saw other people and hoped they would come over and help her. She waited her, being patient. |

Stomping on sandcastles had always been a particularly enjoyable activity, albeit for only one of the two people in the "kicker-kickee" relationship. Not that one such purple bastard cat cared either way. Many a child's wails followed behind the cat as he plowed through the sand sculptures with finesse, only occasionally stopping to glance back and make note of any burly older brothers who may now want to wring said cat's neck. Only when he reached the end of the row of towels and oversized umbrellas did he bother to stop and turn around. He admired his handiwork for a few moments, laughing devilishly to himself. What else is a cat supposed to do at the beach? Water is poison as far as they're concerned. However, tough muscly guys usually show up to cluck their tongues and flex to get all the lady types. It was good sport to (attempt to) humiliate these jerks in front of the very girls they try to impress, although sometimes it can backfire. Our dear feline friend, dubbed by many as "Jax" and many more as "that weak, annoying blowhard", had been the recipient of many of these "backfirings", which have not only resulted in many trips to the hospital but also a massive drop in the reputation he tries so hard to maintain. Rolo walked around the beach, figuring this would be a good spot to relax and take a break from his life long hunt. His spear was strapped to his back, while his suitcase was back at the hotel. He saw a lot of people, too many people it would seem. However, he heard a voice, someone crying out for help. He scanned the beach in front of him, and pinpointed the person crying out for help. A girl was stuck in a wheelchair, trying to wheel her way through the sand it seems. Rolo slowly and casually walked over, only to stop next to her and tilt his head a bit as he looked at her. "Stuck?" He questioned, not sure why she would try to wheel her way through sand. However, why wouldn't she? She wanted to have fun like everyone else. At least, thats what Rolo was thinking. |

It was at this point in time that Jax the Cat happened to speed between the wheelchair-bound cat and the helpful lion, kicking a considerable amount of sand into the latter's face but managing to spare the cat from this rude barrage of sand, as he didn't want to exacerbate her already embarrassing situation. "Hakuna Matata, bitch!" he called to the lion over his shoulder, flashing him a rather rude hand gesture involving only one of his fingers with the intention of starting a fight. |

A lavender colored hedgehog had like three or four luggages in her hands. She struggled and grunted, having a few beads of sweat on her forehead. She sighed and stopped for a bit, putting them down. Starlight had finally arrived to the hotel for her summer vacation. It's her favorite time of the year to go to beaches, parties, hotels and much more summer fun. She even hoped to find her love possibly in the summer as well! She wiped the sweat from her forehead and made a 'whew' sound. "Finally! Geez, I can't wait to get inside and rest!" she said, fanning herself. it was certainly a very hot day of course. Starlight picked up her bags once again and quickly headed back inside to check in and finally sit back and relax. |

Meanwhile.... A hedgehog was currently walking around the city that the said beach was on having a peaceful look around. He really didn't have anything with him, but the clothes on his body as well as his weapon that was concealed. He later then walked into a building that seemed to be a type of hotel. While walking inside he noticed a new person in the building, but he didn't really pay much attention to her, "Room 3-16, where's my key?" asked the hedgehog at the counter, "Ahh, here you go, sir," said the accountant taking out a key. He practically snatched it out of the accountant's hand and began to walk towards a nearby elevator, but then stopped for a moment. He then turned his head slightly to his right staring at the new person, "You know, your really attractive, good day," he said. He then walked into the elevator and set it for the 3rd floor. While in the elevator, one question came into his mind, "Why in the hell did I just say that?". He had no idea why, but he decided to let it slide as it came to the 3rd floor. He walked out and started to head for his room. he later came up to a door with the number "16" on it and used his key on the door knob, it then opened and he went in and locked the door behind him. He removed his white jacket which had his weapon attached to the back of it and hung it up on a wall. He then went and layed back on a couch that was near a glass door that lead to a balcony and soon drifted into sleep: Or so he thought. He couldn't get that thing he said out of his head and immediately walked over to a phone and called a number, "Out of all times your not home?" he thought to himself, "Hello?" said a feminine voice, "Hey, its me," said the hedgehog, "Ahh, Ritsu, hey! How ya been?" asked the voice, "Been fine, but I said something I never thought I'd say," he answered. "Oooh, I got an idea where this is going, be right back," said the voice. After a couple of minutes had passed the voice was back, "Okay well, it seems that the spell I used to split your bodies apart into seperate beings had some umm...side effects," said the voice, "Side effects? What kind exactly?" he asked, "Well for starters, it seems that when you merged bodies in the first place it mixed all of your emotions as well, and I'm guessing when you were split apart it might've split the emotions evenly," said the voice. After hearing that Ritsu simply hung up on the phone and layed back down on the couch. "You have got to be kidding me," he thought to himself knewing he would not get to sleep after hearing that. (Chanda, don't force an action on a character that isn't yours please.) The sand that was kicked up by the feline missed it's target, as Rolo simply leaned away. Upon hearing the insults, the lion simply blinked a few times, then ignored the feline and waited for a reply from the girl in the wheelchair. The lion thought the feline was blind, and maybe didn't see hes spear strapped to his back. Either way, the lion wasn't going to fight him, unless the feline made a direct attack towards him. Derrak continue his little jog to the hotel, and finally reached it. He slid in front of the entrance, then entered in calmly. He wasn't even out of breath as he walked in and went to the front desk. There was a line in front of him, so he waited with a smile as the line moved up bit by bit. |

Starlight made it to the front counter and asked the accountant for her own room key. He gave her the key and said, "Here you are. Enjoy." Starlight smiled and took the key, picking up her bags once more. "Thanks." she said, heading to the elevator. She walked inside and leaned her back against the wall, sighing with exhaustion and looked around, noticing a hedgehog in the same elevator. After a few seconds, she walked out and headed down the hallway to her room. Starlight took out the key again and unlocked the door, opening after. She gasped at the amazing sight of the room. It was more than she expected the room to be like. She placed her luggages down near her bed and her bathroom supplies in the..well, bathroom of course. After placing and setting her stuff in their belongings, Starlight threw herself onto the bed, snuggling near the pillows and blankets. "Ahh! This is the life! I really needed this break!" she said, feeling relaxed. 'Hmm...maybe I could go back outside and get an ice cream. I'll probably look around here too since I've never been here before... she thought. This summer is going to be awesome!\ |

In the room next door, a red hedgehog was napping peacefully. This hedgehog, Sankai, has been in the hotel for a few days now, and planned to check out near the end of the month. His adopted parents gave him a lot of money for the summer, and since he doesn't really need to buy much, he decided to spend most of it on a long hotel stay. His face was covered by a magazine, and he was snoring softly. Then, he slowly got up and stretched. "Mmmn! Man, that was a good nap!" He twirled over to the side of his bed and put his feet on the floor. "Awright! Time to go to the beach! C'mon, Salem!" On the other bed, a black hedgehog awoke crankily from his sleep. "Ugh... Seriously? Do we have to go right now?" "Sure!" Sankai replied. "Why not? The sky is clear as a bell and the temperature's perfect for summer!" Salem lowered his eyelids and scowled. "Ugh... When are you gonna learn that I'm not the happy, always-looking-at-the-bright-side-of-things kinda guy like you are..? But, I suppose you do have a point. I guess I'll go for now." he said as he got up from his bed and put put on his sandals. "That's the spirit, buddy!" Sankai said as he put on his summer jacket and bolted out the door. "HEY!" Salem exclaimed as he chased after him. "We're on the seventeenth floor! There could be other people trying to sleep! Do you even have any idea how much noise you make when you run?!" Downstairs in a different room, a black hedgehog was already sound asleep in his bed. His snore was loud as he made 'mmm' sounds, tossing and turning. It seemed like he was having a wonderful dream. "Ah..." he muttered. He made a snort next and then fluttered his eyes open. Dark rubbed his eyes, yawned and stretched, using his cocky smile after. "Ahh! Awesome nap. I needed that..." he yawned. "Too bad I can't finish my dream..." He climbed out of his bed and walked towards the window, opening it and noticed the beach was crowded and the hotel was full of people. "Dang! I never knew it could be crowded today! Thank god I already made reservations. Heh." he chuckled as he put on his shoes next. "I'll head downstairs in a few minutes..." Dark began to walk towards the bathroom to get ready for his day. |

A quick glance over his shoulder indicated that the lion surprisingly wasn't chasing after him anymore, if at all. He had to kick it up a notch. He eyed two pretty nice looking lady types milling about just a few yards away, one a dog of some sort and the other a timber wolf. The former didn't appear to be enjoying herself too much. He supposed that he might as well impress some lady types while he was here as well. There's no better way to show off your manhood than beating up someone that looks stronger than you, right? And that spear does look a bit.... imposing, to say the least. "This is for you, ladies!" he called, waving at the two girls. Turning back to the lion, Jax leaned down and scooped up a sea star that had been washed in by the tide. As he picked it up it grew rigid, shriveling up a bit as a defense mechanism. Testing its weight, he chucked it towards the lion like a shuriken. "Heads up, dirtbag!" he called, once again flipping him the bird. |

((o.o wow I missed out on a lot)) Lily thanked the two for helping her. But they appeared to be gone. 'where could they be?' Lily thought to herself. She shrugged it off. She got out of her wheelchair and tried to push it inside the building, which wasn't really working...since her legs were broken and couldn't work as well as others. She felt embarrassed by the fact she was the only one in a wheelchair, had mental problems and had dyslexia. ((yes I made her like this originally, I thought it would be cool by the fact she had these, for she is my only character that does)) She kept pushing her wheelchair, and in the event, she got sand in her face. She spit it out. She kept trying to go there, but it was taking a while. Usually she had someone here to help her push the wheelchair...but that person has been gone for days...dispersed, disappeared somehow. |
