Throwing in another character Name: Kirby Gender: Male Age: 20 Species: Tree Frog Appearance:  Personality: He is a very off and strange frog. His manner is neither polite or rude. He speaks freely and whats on his mind, but at times, he wont say a single word. He doesn't show emotions often, maybe a a wide eye if something impresses him. Sometimes he'll be over dramatic about his emotions, resulting in a high pitch yell while flailing his arms about. In short, he is a lose canon, and some would say bipolar. For the most part, he acts like a robot, emotionless. Powers: Kekkai: The art of casting spiritual barriers. However, he does his differently. He can't cast it directly, not from his own hand. He uses the disks that suspend them selves around his wrists and ankles to channel the energy it takes to properly cast a barrier. As well, the disk themselves can be surrounded or filled with Kekkai energy. Hand to hand combat: Tongue Lashing: His tongue is very strong, and very long. He uses it to grab objects or attack with speed. He can direct his tongue any which way, and gets a good 12 to 13 feet advantage when fighting. Climbing: He wears fingerless gloves because his finger tips cling onto surfaces like suction cups, allowing him to climb and hang from ceilings if needed. Spirit Eye: The eye covered up with the eye patch is actually a cursed eye. Or rather, he has a living spirit within it. The spirit has created a black substance around the eye, making him blind in that eye. However, when his body is under a lot of strain, or when he chooses to 'activate' this eye, the substance 'pops' and starts to ooze out a red liquid, resembling blood of course. When this happens, this eye can now see spirits and a beings a soul. As well, this eye pulsates, acting like bat ears so he can see objects and walls. Weapons: - Back pact. This allows him to capture and seal/kill off any evil spirits he has captured with his Kekkia powers. - Disks. The disk around his wrists and ankles can be used as projectiles with a boomerang effect, or simply sharp round blades. They also can detach and break off into several smaller parts. Back Story: Kirby never use to be blind in his right eye. He was normal, like every else. He even had a pretty good personality as well. He was a calm and relaxed fellow. He enjoyed spending time with friends. Most of all, he loved exploring and going on adventures. His father was a tomb raider and his mother was a archaeologist. Naturally, he was born into the business, and was the best around as well. He went places where no other dared to go. Rumor had it, that there was a site that was abandon for year now. Many have tried to venture into the caves and buried temple, but everyone ran out scared or never returned. Of course, Kirby wasn't going to let old myths stop him. So he went to this 'forbidden' place, and started his research. After a few months passed, strange events started to happen. These events went form simply odd things, near death things. However, Kirby continued onward. Of course, the further he went, the more danger he ran into. Finally, after escaping death several times while having a ton of luck on his side, he entered into a room called Sanctuary. By this time, all that worked with him had left and dared not go with him, so he was alone. With his torch in hand, he walked into the large room after spending a most of the day opening the door. What he saw inside changed him forever. His eyes widen as he gazed upon a large sphere, flowing with what seemed to be spirits. They were swimming around freely and calmly. Some of them were floating and swimming around the room. However, the ones outside the large gold sphere were blue, and the ones inside the sphere were gold. Some of them were white, which meant that they soon would turn into a blue one, as he watched a white tadpole/fish like spirit turn blue, and then quickly rush out of the sphere. Some of the blue spirits circled around him, while others passed through him, causing a warm feeling as they passed through his body. It was clear that he couldn't touch the blues, but what of the gold and white ones? this question got the best of him, and caused him to walk towards the large sphere. The sphere itself was about 15 feet tall. The spirits were about 16 inches, most of them were smaller. As he approached the sphere, everything seemed calm, taking slow and steady steps as he didn't want to startled any of the spirits. Once he got to the sphere, he gently placed his hand on it. It felt like a bubble, a very hard bubble. It was flexible as he pressed against it, but hard to bypass it and reach inside where the white and gold spirits were. Suddenly, something caught his eyes. On the other side of the sphere was a black spirit, swimming around just was freely and gently as the others. It was then that he noticed more black spirits, however, they were swimming at the bottom and top of the sphere close together, making it seem like they were one big shadow. As he returned his focus on the one black spirit that was swimming with the others, he noticed that it wasn't there anymore. A slight panic feeling rushed into him as he scanned the sphere for it. He soon found it, and noticed that it was in the center of the sphere, swimming towards him with a bit of speed behind it. He took a step back, but suddenly the black spirit rushed towards him and burst out of the bubble without popping it. It plunged into his right eye and caused him to yelp as he stumbled back and held his eye. He panted a bit as his other eye shifted from side to side in panic. He slowly uncovered his right eye, and noticed that he couldn't see out of it. It didn't hurt, and he felt his eye moving. Yet, he couldn't see anything. He was now blind in his right eye. Four months after that event, he visited several doctors and none could help him. It was then that he got wind of a person who called them self a Mushi Master. Seeing as he had no other choice, he went to visit this person. He staid in this person's care as she performed many different test on him, having him do and drink odd things. During this time, Kirby started to lose his personality. As well, the Mushi Master was having a hard time figuring out what to do. She started to explain to him that what was in his eye wasn't a normal Mushi. In fact, she believe that it wasn't a Mushi at all, but something else. After a few more months in her care, she finally told him that the spirit in his eye wont do any damage to him, unless he feeds it spirit particles, or spirits in general. She explained that what he was drinking was a mix between Mushis and spirits. She told him that whatever was in his eye favored spirits over mushis. Having told him this, she sent him to a place that would train him the arts of fighting, as well as capturing and defeating evil spirits. Kirby spent the rest of his life here, way up in the mountains somewhere. He was told that he had Kekkai powers within him, when in fact, he was already told by the mushi master that the spirit in his eye was giving him Kekkai powers. The Kekkai Masters didn't know about the spirit in his eye, assumed that he just lost his right eye. It was until he went on a mission with someone else, a girl named Minson, that they found out about the spirit in his eye. During the battle against a strong evil spirit, Minson was knocked to the side while it focused on Kirby the most. He learned later on that the evil spirit was drawn by the spirit in his eye. Kirby suffered a great amount of pain and was put under a lot of strain. suddenly, a popping sound in his eye echoed. Blood, or a red substance, flowed from his right eye and under his eye patch. His left eye became blind, which caused him to take off his eye patch and see through his spirit eye for the first time. As well, his body became a little stronger as his speed increased as well. He soon defeated the evil spirit, and captured it. He rushed to devour it, thinking that would satisfy the spirit within his eye and bring his normal eye back. However, nothing happened. Minson reported this event to Kekkai Master, who then banished Kirby. They said that he had become one with the 'evil spirit' within his eye, so they needed to cast him out before he would turn on them, and they would be forced to kill him. Kirby turned to the only person he could turn to, the mushi master. She explained to him that they were simply scared of him, and didn't know what else to with him. She also explained that they only said this because his spirit eye looked so monstrous, and he couldn't turn if off. So also explained to him that he was done with them, and didn't need to be with them anymore. So, Kirby spent a few months with her again while she made a new eye patch for him. This eye patch would allow the spirit to 'heal' or 'recreate' the black substance quicker, allowing for his normal to be un-blind. As well, she made him a back pack that would help him devour and consume spirits easily. She also upgraded his Kekkai disk, allowing them to be used as projectiles and come apart. Now, Kirby roams from place to place, trying to keep himself alive while ridding the world of evil spirits. Because of his success, he has gained a bit of his emotions back. I hate to seem impatient, but is this going anywhere? As much as I enjoy having witty banter with Blaire, I don't exactly consider a few peculiar snowflakes a very exciting way of kicking off the RP. Not to criticize, really, but rather just asking a question.

By 2109 he was assertive of his own destiny and from 2109 to 2111 he developed a personality as a brilliant, eccentric young man with some inherent flaws though associated with such brilliance. Towards Maria Robotnik, he is very loyal and protective of her. Skills: Anomalous Entity Detection - Because of the special relationship between chronotons and his primary core (the Maelstrom Core) and the backup core (the primary core in his earlier version, the Cyclone Core). Miles has a higher chance of recognizing objects or people that are not from his reality. Enhanced Perception - Optical, aural and tactile implants give Miles a more acute range of hearing, feeling and sight. Sight specifically extends into several spectrums such as infared, thermoptic and night vision. Enhanced Physical Strength - Tails can exert up to 140,000 newtons of force in his feet and 70,000 in his hands, though this would cause stress on his frame. Things like busting down a bolted solid-wood door, kicking in a concrete wall are within his capabilities. Don't bother putting your money on Muhammed Ali if he were to face him in the ring. Enhanced Weaponry Skills - Guns are his preferred class of weapons because of the accuracy given to him by his targeting systems. But his physical strength makes him as formidable with a sword or at hand to hand. Enhanced Thought - Computer-based memory allows instant and accurate recall of thoughts that would otherwise be lost in organic short-term memory or vaguely read from long-term. Computer logic also allows Tails to get around complex mathematical and some logical calculations. Equipment: Zenith Defense Industries ER-107 - An energy rifle that draws upon charged particles in the air to create a direct path for a burst of electrical current to flow which must be sustained by continued activation of its trigger to be effective. The minimum level of current acts as a nonlethal deterrent while the maximum (roughly 50 amps) will totally eliminate a flesh-and-blood target.(Mind you, it only takes 15 milliamps to stop the contraction of the heart's muscles in a human). If one fired their own ER-107 at him with a charged burst of 21 amperes, it will overload his own cores. Zenith Defense Industries EM93R - A 4mm electromagnetic projection pistol, one of the "big ones" of the era akin to our Desert Eagles, Colt 1911s, etc. The main reason for its large size is the projectiles that it fires. Instead of operating with the tried and true method of propelling a mere lead bullet to impact with its target, this weapon is loaded with 4 millimeter ferromagnetic metal rails that are 3 inches in length. Within the gun itself from the point of where the rail is chambered to the end of its barrel is a series of electromagnets that power coils that wrap around the tube that the rails are pushed through. The trigger mechanism is basically an actuator between its microprocessor and the batteries, which then provides current on the signal of the microprocessor to the coils. The rails when fired properly can cover a distance of 600 feet per second, giving the rail enough kinetic energy to go through 20th century Kevlar. Each magazine contains 80 rails. -In some cases, if he has a weapon in a poor state of repair or that is simply restricted in its effectiveness due to technology of the era, he has a high chance of failing to operate or land an accurate hit. (i.e operating a Revolutionary War era musket.) Summer Attire - This is a short-sleeved dress shirt of varying color in tandem with a tie of varying color as well, with a pair of jeans, cargo-pants or what have you. The armor suit is contained within a backpack. Armor Suit - A special streamlined armor suit that can be removed. The plating is light but also very durable, mainly because of the layer of nanites that covers it. They can harden and become a second layer. A helmet made of the same material also accompanies this. Explosives while potentially survivable, will more than likely destroy the armor shell completely or render a large portion of it useless. Armored, he is very formidable in the face of conventional projectiles such as bullets, arrows, slingshot projectiles. Unarmored, and without an exoskeleton in some regions, Tails can find himself as vulnerable as a standard human or Mobian. Maelstrom Core - The primary core that power his systems and provides the power for energy weapons via induction. He may be partially vulnerable to electromagnetic pulses (EMPs) or weapons that employ EM radiation. This would effectively stop the Core and any implants from properly operating, slowing him down due to the weight of his armor (if present) and forcing him to rely on his organics to survive until his systems come back online. Cyclone Core - The Cyclone Core is what essentially allowed temporal and spatial movement and can be used as a medium of backup energy. He'll experience an enhanced recovery rate from mechanical and cybernetic damage due to the thermal energy giving a constant feed of power for the nanites. However heat is an issue if he's using his backup core in tandem with the Maelstrom Core as an overdrive. He will feel sluggish, tired, feverish and weak after such activities in overdrive. Backstory: The well known sidekick of decorated Mobian Resistance fighter Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles William Prower (better known as "Tails") was born on October 16th in the year 2092. Little of his early life can be recalled, for from 2092 on, he lived in captivity under the tyrannical human Dr. Ivo Robotnik. He was never self-aware of his identity until 2106 when he met famed Mobian Resistance fighter Sonic the Hedgehog, who deliberately allowed himself and his unit to be captured in order to spurn a rebellion. Sonic (born in 2088) was only four years old when the little fox was born, and his parents were close associates of Tails', both of their fathers both officers of the Mobian Republic Air Force's (before Robotnik's destruction of the Republic's government in 2092) Mobian Aerospace Defense Command. Sonic stuck by the fox's side, ultimately inspiring him to use his understanding of electronics, computers and mechanics to help the Resistance put an end to Robotnik's rule from within. This was accomplished finally in 2109, but at the near cost of Tails' life as he tried to fight the autonomous Metal Sonic Mk. 0 prototype, distracting it from a badly beaten Sonic, who was able to finally disable the robot after Tails was wounded. Tails would be taken to the United Nations Mobian Orbital Command Center in order to undergo surgeries coordinated by Ivo's grandfather, former pediatric specialist and government biophysicist Professor Gerald Robotnik. With his freedom secured and his body preserved by excellent 22nd century human medical technology, he was going to enter the most productive period of his life. He would start by pursuing a formal education. Between 2109 and 2110, he was building an immense understanding of human culture, history, language, art and technology. Now he believed he was ready to pursue research. Little did he know, but his choice of research would lead him to take up an unexpected study. Relationships. He planned to assist Gerald in the man's search for a cure for his granddaughter Maria, who was being affected by a disease that caused Neuro Immunodeficency Syndrome (or NIDS) which made her likely to be terminally ill. Working directly with Maria, Miles started to empathize with her. Their relationship would evolve, prompting them to start living with one another. This further fueled the fox's desire to cure her, ultimately leading him to discover to everyone's surprise that Maria's disease did not naturally occur. Her affliction with NIDS was caused by a synthetic virus. Its creator: her cousin, Ivo Robotnik. Gerald and Miles' research efforts started to branch off. Gerald's beliefs were that Ivo's bioweapon was so complex that it could not be effectively beaten yet, and that Maria could only be given the time for such a cure to be found if he could pursue the one thing many humans and Mobians pursued for centuries: immortality. Miles believed that he could find the cure with current technology. He would end up enlisting the efforts of a fellow former child-prodigy, a human scientist: Dr. Moddex J. Everest of Zenith Defense Industries. Gerald would end up enlisting the help of Sonic in order to genetically engineer a clone of him that would later be called Shadow, because he believed the hedgehog had hidden genetic traits besides his fabled speed. In 2111, their efforts were almost threatened by an assassination attempt by Ivo. This attempt was thwarted by the appearance of technology from a future Tails of a branching timeline that assumed the assassination attempt was successful. The future Tails because of the damage sustained, was rebuilt partially with robotics. The technology that was sent back was one of the cyborg fox's cores which contained data referring to the events of the assassination, among other events (which are classified). Implanting the cybernetics and arming himself before the attack, Tails was able to fight off the assassin and would ultimately uncover a failsafe plan by Ivo to return in order to destroy the ARK, Earth and then Mobius. He would lead Sonic and his old friends in the resistance to head Ivo off, leading to his capture. Now it is 2112 and Tails is in a funk. With Ivo's capture, Maria's cure was acquired and from there things were uneventful. The two decided to vacation in Mobius during the summer. Leaving Maria behind back at Sonic's home, Tails ambled around in the city. Then it started to snow. From there, things got very crazy for him. |

Descendants/Relatives/Off-shoots/clones/robot counterparts of existing characters aren't exactly my cup o' tea, but whatever floats your boat, really. I'm excited to see how in the hell he'll factor into a happy-go-lucky day at the beach. Also Blaire needs to post. |

I suppose I'll join now. I'll just use Jev for now. Name: jevery "Jev" the Hedgehog Gender: Male Age: 17 Species: Hedgehog Appearance: Jev is a white hedgehog, with one bright green eye, the other being a bionic eye. It is red with a blue pupil. Jev has a green japanese symbol for fire on his head. He has a large burn scar on his right arm as well. Quills: His top quill slightly curves, and points upward at a slant. His next three quills point down normally, with slight curves. His bottom quill is his largest one, and is one solitary quill at the base of his head. Attire: Jev wears black jeans, and a white trench coat, with two long coattails, with black tips. His shoes are white, with black soles, and black stripe going down their middle Personality: Very serious. Dosen't do anything that would associate with goofing off. Jev is very logical, and always wants to be prepared. Powers: Pyrokinesis: Jev has the ability to control, creat, and manipulate fire. Fire Blast: Standard fire blast. Flamethrower: Jev shoots flames from his hands, feet, or mouth, like a flamethrower would. Nova feild: Jev can make a small dome that can contian up to three people. Feild can deflect most, but not all, projectile attacks. (time specified by RP starter.) Jet: Jev shoots fire from his feet, to allow temporary hovering, and an extra jump. Can be used to move faster on land. (The folowing is an alternate form. If you don't like this form, you can reject it.) Obelisk form: The back of Jevs legs, and arms begin to emit his green fire. His quils begin to do the same. He forms to large wings made of fire, that sprout from his back. obelisk Blast: A powerful fire blast. Is extremely large. Obelisk spear: Jev uses his powers to make a spear out of his green flames. This is his strongest attack, and it is very difficult to use. Can be used as a melee weapon, or as a lance. Flight: Jev uses his wings to fly when in this form. Weapons: none. But his bionic eye can double as a sort of computer. Back Story: Jev, after his family died out, joined the team his father, Cobalt, put together, Team Cobalt. During a training mission, Jev, along with his teammates, Got into a battle with a few bandits. Jev led the others, and strategized their victory. But the resulting battle caused Jev to lose his eye. After getting it replaced with a bionic one, Jev was appointed leader of the team. Jev then got into the habit, of always planning out before doing something serious. Since Jev was appointed leader, he led his team through missions, and jobs they were hired to do. The team became quite famous, and popular. Jev discovered his fire powers when he was younger. An accident with his powers occurred, which gave him his large burn scar. Family Deceased story: Jev's father, the creator of team Cobalt, was killed on a mission, by an unknown person. Years later, Herev claims it was him who killed his father, though this is yet to be comfirmed. His mother died of sickness when he was 10. |

Accepted, Jev. You and Cy could to randomly join in, somewhere on the beach, and witness a blizzard that is coming your way. The blizzard isn't coming from on direction, but from all directions. So, so start off chilling and relaxing, or what have you, and then notice the blizzard. Once everyone sees and gets caught up in the blizzard, the real fun will happen. |
