Here's my new story I've been working on for quite a while now. I really liked how it turned out. Enjoy. Feedback would also be nice! This story goes back to when my OC, Kai is 7 years old. Liam smiled as Kai slept peacefully. He kissed his forehead "Goodnight my son." he said. He left the room and walked downstairs. He sat down on a chair and sighed. He knew it wouldn't be long until they found him. He got up and looked out the window, staring in horror. Knights clad in black armour riding black horses with firey manes and tails could be soon from the top of the hill. Laim cursed and ran upstairs and into Kai's room, shaking him. Kai groaned and woke up. "What's wrong, Daddy?" he asked. Liam looked at him sadly. "We have to leave here. Now. Put some shoes on." he said. Kai blinked in confusion. "Why? It's all dark and raining outside." he said Liam began getting worried. He quickly put some shoes on Kai's feet and grabbed his hand, running outside. Kai was very confused and kept up as best as he could. Liam kept running, looking back every minute to make sure Kai was still behind him. There was a sudden scream, Liam looked back in horror. Kai's right eye was suddenly gushing with blood. A black Knight approached him, about to deal the finishing blow. Liam quickly grabbed Kai, and picked him up, carrying him. Kai looked up at him weakly. "Daddy...? My eye hurts and I'm sore all over." he said. Liam looked at him sadly. "I'm sorry, Kai..." He said. He kept running. He saw a house in the distance. He looked at Kai, unconcious from blood loss and ran towards it. he looked around, making sure he couldn't see any black Knights. He opened the doors, and put Kai inside, laying him down carefully. "I'll miss you, My son. But atleast you'll be safe." Liam said sadly. A tear rolled down his cheek and he closed the doors, running off into the night with the black Knights hot on his heels. |
