She had waited anxiously for his return from the Air Force, and tonight was the night. She was so excited that she could finally be in his arms again. She had cleaned the entire house from top to bottom, and put on the most beautiful dress she could find. She had a candlelit dinner planned for his arrival. All she had to do now was wait.
